These are experienced live on the 3rd Thursday of every month beginning at 5pm.
After discussing with several local investors, it was clear there was a great group of local individuals interested in making something happen in the real estate world of central Iowa. Yet... there are limited resources (dare I say no) outlets for actual down to earth, learning and networking WITHOUT the agenda-focused, fee-based, overwhelming-pressure-of-making-a-sale-overtones. With the DSM Real Estate Investing Meetup, there's a meeting every third Thursday!
This event was established to SUPPORT NETWORKING AND LEARNING. Whether you are reading your first book, flipping part time, or even a full-time professional, come grab a few drinks, chat, ask questions, and exchange contact information. Everybody's welcome!

Born and raised in the metro, you could say that Luke Shelton knows a thing or two about Des Moines. He did his first real estate deal in 2015 just two years after meeting his mentor. It wasn’t long until he went full time into real estate investing! Who is Bob?
Bob began working in the trades in high school learning via the guidance of his grandfather. He has a lifetime of construction experience which includes: development and new construction, complete “down-to-the-studs” remodeling, as well as multifamily renovation.
Not only does he understand how to swing a hammer, he has knowledge and experience in almost every trade: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, siding, framing, flooring, cabinets (building and installation), and the list goes on!
When he’s not working, you can find him grilling on the back deck or hanging out with his two adorable granddaughters.
Chuck Hendricks (of Hendricks Law) joins us to answer the group's legal questions and discuss current market conditions.
Not only is he is an Iowa attorney specializing in real estate, he invests in real estate as well!
