What can we say about Filipe Leite? He's a Ryerson journalism grad riding two horses from the Calgary Stampede to the World Cup in Sao Paolo. The journey is going to take him two years, and he's getting started this month.

Filipe was good enough to sit down with the Eyeopener Podcast back in October. He dropped by once again to update us on how he's preparing for what promises to be an epic journey.

Usually we keep our interview podcasts around an hour in length. But since we won't be seeing much of Filipe for a while we decided to go considerably longer.

Enjoy our first ever two-part episode, and follow Filipe's journey at JourneyAmerica.net and through his Twitter account @FilipeMasetti.

Please forgive the audio for the first few minutes.
