Her biggest weight gain was during her pregnancy with her son in 2009 and weighed up to 287 pounds. Her weight was complicating existing health issues and she was a hairs breadth away from becoming a diabetic. She decided to make a change for herself and her family.

At the end of 2012, she had her daughter but did not repeat the previous mistakes that led to weight gain in her first pregnancy. Life then happened and anxiety and stress got the better of Kristin and she gained 60 pounds after she stopped going to the gym. Then towards the end of 2013 she made the choice to own her life.

On this extremely special episode of The VDown with Michael V, we have the one, the only, the Godfather of DDP Yoga, the man himself, Diamond Dallas Page! A lot of people know Dallas from his days in professional wrestling and is one of the best wrestler of the 90's. During a time when wrestling was red hot with the Monday Night Wars, Dallas reached the top of the mountain in WCW, not once, not twice but three times. He's mixed it up with such legends as Bill Goldberg, Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Hulk Hogan. His success is not without its adversity.
When Dallas's career was beginning to sky rocket, he ruptured his L4 and L5 discs in his back. Several doctors told him that right when he was going to achieve it all in his career as a wrestler, it was over. That was something Dallas could not accept. He was desperate and tried everything. So when his wife at the time suggested yoga, he gave it a shot. He could tell immediate results. The short story there is DDP came back to wrestling and the rest there is history. Also though, born out of this adversity was not just wrestling history, but what is becoming a fast fitness phenonmenon, DDP Yoga.
DDP Yoga is not yoga. Let's get that clear. While the traditional yoga helped Dallas, it wasn't for him. He made it his own and added his own exercises from his knowledge of fitness and exercise as well as physical therapy. The key to DDP Yoga is dynamic resistance that works the muscles and gets your heart rate jacked to give you an excellent strength conditioning and cardio workout while gaining flexiblity.
DDP Yoga was not designed as a weight loss program, but with it's ability to modifiy the moves to one's own fitness level, DDP Yoga has made it so that people who are not in any sort of good physical condition to work to their ability and as their ability increases to continually modify their workout to continue to challenge themselves. Tune in!

The Royals came into October squeezing into the playoffs as a wildcard, just falling a few games short of a division title. They then won a wild, wild card came in extra innings to earn a trip to the ALDS against the Los Angeles Angels. They have since won the first two games in LA, both in extra innings and are looking to sweep the series on Sunday in front of their home crowd in Kansas City.
