Julie is a business major turned Nurse during COVID. She landed her dream job right away after college at a prestigious ad agency in New York and then quickly realized there was more she wanted to do. Julie traveled the world for several years and even turned her travels into her own business. Eventually, she knew her true calling was to become a nurse even though she would have to start all over to get there. Julie had many life lessons to share from her travels, her studies, and her time as a nurse during a pandemic.
Alex had over 10 years building a successful career in advertising in NYC when she finally admitted it wasn't the career for her. She decided to move upstate to start a lavender farm... despite having never farmed a day in her life or know the first thing about running a business.
This week's episode details her journey and all of the other amazing parts of her business. Her husband, who works in finance, has a passion of his own now, too.

Ahmet Ustunel, a.k.a. The Blind Captain, is the first blind person to kayak solo from Asia to Europe.
