The last episode of Series 2 is here, and we’re ending on a high note! Camille Zamora and Monica Yunus, professional opera singers from the United States, chat with our students about their music-based charity called Sing For Hope and the ins and outs (and highs and lows!) of the opera life.

Jemma Rix is a world-record ocean rower who rowed across the Atlantic with her rowing partner in just 50 days. Together they hold the record for fastest female duo. She has also since started her own company called Activeat focused on healthy foods. She is interviewed in this episode by Aidan and Grace, secondary students from Nord Anglia International School Dublin, about her rowing experiences and the resilience it took.
Marlon Devonish is a British Olympic sprinter who won gold in the 4 x 100 metres in 2004. Following almost two decades as a professional athlete, Marlon is now an Elite Performance Coach at the British International School of Shanghai, Puxi. Sir Tim’s biome has been hailed as the "world's largest indoor rainforest". As an advocate of green living and sustainability projects, he is also working on new biomes and eco-schemes in every continent on the Earth. In this episode he is interviewed by Ailbhe and Daniel, two students from Nord Anglia International School Dublin.
Hear from Santiago Lange, a four-time World Champion sailor who won gold in the 2016 Olympics (and two bronze medals previously). Santiago was “Sailor of the Year” in 2016 after surviving lung cancer. In this episode, Santiago speaks with two Nord Anglia Education students from Collège du Léman, Ella and Anthony, who are involved in their school’s sailing club and passionate about the sport.
Our second series of A Little Bit of Genius continues with this episode featuring Ashley De La Rosa, a professional Broadway actress, singer and dancer who has starred in popular shows such as Hamilton, Rent and Mean Girls. This episode also touches on the ways that Ashley has been active in several social justice causes in her local community, including her work to help people vote in the US General Election.
An alumni of Windermere Preparatory School in Florida, Ashley is interviewed by two current Windermere students named Michael and Emma who are both passionate about theatre.
On this episode of A Little Bit of Genius, hear from Bertrand Piccard, a record-breaking explorer and balloonist from Switzerland. Bertrand is a Nord Anglia Education alumnus from Collège Champittet and is famous for being the first person to circumnavigate the globe non-stop in a hot air balloon. He also completed the first round-the-world solar flight in history!
Bertrand speaks with student hosts Amber and Alex from Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam about a range of topics, including his inspirations, his work to protect the environment, and how he was able to stay resilient during all his awe-inspiring adventures around the world.
On today's episode of A Little Bit of Genius our hosts are two secondary school students, Min Ho and So Young, from the British International School Ho Chi Minh City (BIS HCMC) in Vietnam.
Their guest is BIS HCMC alumni Kisum Chan, who recently graduated from University College London. In 2018, Kisum received the prestigious Hult Prize of US$1 million to help fund Rice Inc., a social enterprise that helps farmers by making the rice supply chain more sustainable.
