For our 6th podcast we will be doing something a little different. We'll be doing Cartoon Network, the long-time rival to Disney's own television channel.

This week we're digging into the mixed bag of Dreamworks studio. They've had surprising success as well as egregious failures, but overall, they've been a pretty decent studio.
For the second episode of Methods to the Madness, we'll be probing Pixar's animation. While their CG is top notch, their level of storytelling is far beyond most other animation studios.

This podcast will be comparing and contrasting the works of various animation studios to find what does (and doesn’t) work. Each episode's content will be about a specific studio, focusing on examples of successful animation (e.g. Disney’s “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”) and casually exploring why an one aspect works over another.
