Toyin Janet ADEREMI
Dr. Toyin Janet Aderemi is a social inclusion and protection expert, with a bias for disability inclusion and gender. Her experience spans across technical advisory, research and leadership in international development and humanitarian contexts in Africa and the Middle East.
Currently, she is a Senior Disability Officer at the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Jordan.
Dr. Aderemi is a 2018 'Her Abilities Award' winner. She is also an alumna of the Ford Foundation International Fellowship Program.

Dr Aderemi examines the vulnerability of youth with disabilities to SRH challenges, and the need for inclusion in sexuality and SRH interventions. She makes recommendations on the 'must do' actions for disability-inclusive SRH programming. Lastly, she gives some tips for disability inclusion when using online platforms to deliver sexuality and SRH education/information to youth.

She shares her experiences of working with Palestine refugees with disabilities in the Middle-East. Additionally, she highlights how intersectionality such as gender, age and legal status exacerbate the access of Palestine refugees with disabilities to humanitarian assistance during the pandemic.
