Networking; building connections and nurturing relationships, used to be something I did regularly and with ease.
However, in 2020 the twins were born - pandemic kicked off - my business grew - world became more virtual - I became less flexible ...and a little time-poor!
It has become something I squeeze in, or am reactive to.
Only spending time nurturing those relationships that are in my immediate realm of work / life.
It felt like my network shrunk.
Recently I decided to shake things up, however, and prioritise time for "coffee chats". (Want to book in for one? Link in comments section..)
Reconnecting with people.
Connecting with new people.
It has given me SUCH joy.
In this podcast episode I chat about how sparking conversations I have been able to:
WOAHHHHH, HOW AWESOME IS THAT
... all from a few coffee chats / week.
As always, LOVE to hear from you.
Does this resonate?
Jenn

One of the worst parts of the big C, was the impact it had on my mindset - throwing me into a fear zone - losing a sense of who I was - making me want to hide away from the world.
Finding my way back was a journey.
In this emotionally charged podcast episode I share how I went from rock bottom and “existing” to living an authentic and courageous life. One of my design!
I chat about:
I’m a leadership coach who speaks about life, because I value both. I help leaders across the globe find their sweet spot between ambition and living an awesome, and authentic life.
This is part of my story in living my best authentic life.

Hack your brain; change your life. I live by this!
We all experience stress during growth and change, it’s how we are wired. We all experience it differently, yet we all have good and bad reactions.
Being self-aware is an absolute MUST as a leader; however, what you do with this information is the game-changer.
As we progress our careers and grow our businesses, it is essential that we prioritise time for mindset work to ensure that our own brains are not the number 1 derailer or block we have.
Let’s face it, there are enough challenges and complexities out there as a modern leader, we shouldn’t be fighting against ourselves too. Right?

Are you holding yourself back from making a bold career move?
Have you found yourself in an “ambition rut”, for fear of burning out?
Virtual working got you over-thinking more than ever, and doubting yourself?
I hear these stories all the time, the pandemic and virtual working has impacted leaders in many ways. Some positive, others not so …
Over the last few years we have started reflecting on the life we really want. The great resignation has shown just how many people needed a reset.
However, many leaders have had a knee-jerk reaction to “life before”, and have taken a step away from pushing the boundaries at work and setting ambitious career goals.
We can definitely have BOTH.
In this episode we chat about reigniting your ambition so you can have an impact as a leader

Time is our most precious resource. So, how we use it should be prioritised, right?
However, managing time (and energy) is still one of the top conversations I have with the leaders I work with, as so often it is holding them back from thriving and not just surviving.

Wondered how people move into positions that you didn’t even see advertised?
Feel uninspired by the roles available online?
Would you rather stick pins in your eyes than upload another CV to an online job portal?
Unsure how to get on the radar of the right people? And how to position yourself?
You are not alone. However, it doesn't have to be this way...
Over the years I have supported 1000s of people, from entry-level to first-time CEO, as they make bold steps in their careers.
What I have observed in my time is just how few people know how to approach job hunting.
Plugging your CV into online portals or relying on recruiters alone is not enough if you want to nail the job you really want.
As you progress your career, the number of leadership roles available drop, so you need to step things up and get a little more creative and strategic!
That's why I love sharing and working with people to approach this process.
If done right, it can be an incredibly empowering process and give you a boost of confidence. Now how does that sound?
Well, let's get you started!
On today's (slightly longer) podcast episode I share how you can start job hunting like a pro and approach your job search strategically and confidently, so you can land the role you really want.
To make sure you get the most out of this episode, I have pulled together a workbook so you can start putting the learnings into practice right away. Click the link here to access: https://www.jennfenwick.com/job-hunting-like-a-pro

How do you approach goal setting?
As a coach who first started coaching in the sporting world, I have seen firsthand the power of visualisation in pushing the boundaries and achieving your goals.
When it comes to January, many people focus on work goals and throw in some resolutions for good measure. However, these can drop off fairly quickly and feel like something you “should do” vs building a compelling vision of what you are “inspired to do”.
In this episode I share how you can build a more holistic vision for your year, setting goals that are motivational across both work and life.
How you approach January can set you up for an incredible year ahead; so find that clarity around your aspirations and start laying the foundations now.
Enjoy!

Starting a new leadership role is a rollercoaster regardless of experience level.
It might be your first management role or your first time as an Exec.
It might be an internal promotion or joining a whole new organisation.
A secondment, an international placement, or a return from parental leave.
Regardless, leadership “transitions” are full of complexities (and anxieties).
So, what if you knew you could transition with ease and confidence, setting yourself up for success early on?
In this episode I share how to navigate transitions with ease and confidence. I hope it changes the way you approach new roles, and encourages you to raise your hand earlier for future positions and challenges!
Enjoy!
