The Four Hoarsemen are four blokes from Caulfield - Ashley Browne, Ronny Lerner, Josh Kay and Daniel Cherny - talking about footy and stuff. Some weeks more footy, other weeks more stuff.

Episode Seven for 2018 of the Four Hoarsemen takes place without Daniel Cherny (illness) but still tackles the big issues including the draw, the bump and the Shinboners. Andrew Bogut joining the NBL, Rafa Nadal’s dominance and Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal departure also get a run, while they discuss speculation that the A-League season is still going.

Episode Six for 2018 and The Four Hoarsemen are complete once more, with Josh back from the Commonwealth Games. He offers his debrief on the Games and in particular, how our swimmers are placed ahead of the competitions that really matter - the world championships and the 2020 Olympics.
Josh then turns his attention to the tumultuous TV sporting landscape as Seven and Nine swap summer sports. What was it like at Seven when they lost the tennis and won the cricket. The boys play ‘yes, no, wait’ as they try to pick how the new cricket TV commentary teams look for next summer with the Nine and Ten commentators looking for new work.
Finally the talk turns to footy and in particular, Essendon, Melbourne and Carlton. Does Blues coach Brendon Bolton lack some humanity?

Episode Four for 2018 features Mark Fine standing in for Commonwealth Games-bound Josh Kay once again. It’s Passover and the questions are asked of a few early-season stragglers, including the Saints, about who Finey lists the 10 plagues afflicting them and like the Passover story itself, it starts with ‘Dumb’. And a bit like Moses’s mob, the Suns, with a coach whose name sounds like ‘Jew’ are doing ok as they wander through their own proverbial desert a long way from home. The guys rave about Swans-Port and Cats-Hawks, look at the wash-up of the cricket and do their darndest to get excited about the Commonwealth Games.
