Episode 3 - The Thrash Metal Special - is dedicated to the original extreme metal genre - THRASH! Starting back in the early 80's, thrash metal took the world by storm until around 1991-1992 when "Grunge" came in and swept thrash under the rug. Thrash stayed underground throughout the nineties and into the early new millenium years, but then around 2003 thrash started to emerge once again as a force to be reckoned with! With many of the original bands reforming (some never left!), and a new, younger generation of bands joining the movement, thrash is now just as popular as ever, if not even more so!

This show contains 25 awesome tunes to mosh to, along with an exclusive 35 minute interview with thrash metal guitarist extraordinaire, Glenn Rogers!

Glenn has played in several influential thrash metal bands over the last 25+ years, including Hero, Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, Once Dead, and Hirax! He's now in the newly re-formed former Metal Blade Records band Heretic (mid to late 80's). Be sure to tune in and listen to this great interview with one of thrash metals great guitarists!
