This CD epitomizes the Summer of Love, 1999! From the sultry lift-off of Junior Vasquez epic "Rocket Man" by Elton John to the ferocious big-room stomper, "Echeckeboom" (Chicky-Chicky-Boom!), this is the CD we played every weekend at every pool party, and captures the love we all felt. Enjoy!
This CD was actually the precursor for Groove Factor, I didn't yet have an outlet for some of the funkier and groovier tracks, but I had all of these tracks compiled which reminded me of the vibe of NYC's "Body & Soul" when my best friend, Rafael and I had visited. It starts with a distinctly African vibe, including the classic "Equitoreal" by Dubtribe, then drops into some deeper house and back up to the feel-good anthem of '99, "Swingtown" by MindTrap. So many gems, sit back and enjoy!
