Freedom Fighters | John 8:31–36 | Walking in the Liberty Christ Purchased

Faith is where it all begins. From the moment God called Abraham to leave everything familiar and step into the unknown, the life of faith was born. Today, the Spirit of the Lord is calling us back to the foundation of our walk with Him — a life built on complete trust and confidence in God.
In this message, Pastor Andrew Eldridge takes us through the story of Abraham — the Father of Faith — to remind us that:
• Faith begins with a call. God speaks first, and we respond.
• Faith requires leaving in order to receive. Sometimes you must step out of what’s comfortable to walk into what’s promised.
• Faith looks forward. God rarely shows us the whole picture, but He always gives us His word.
• Faith obeys. True faith moves — it acts on what God has said, even when you don’t have all the answers.
• Faith grows. Abraham’s journey wasn’t perfect, but he kept walking — and so must we.

Who is God—really? Not just who He is to you, but who He declares Himself to be in His Word. In this Sunday’s message, Pastor Andrew preaches from Song of Solomon 2:8–13 on the call of the Bridegroom to His bride: “Rise up, My love, My fair one, and come away.”
The Song of Solomon may seem like just a love story between a man and a woman, but Paul reminds us: “first the natural, then the spiritual” (1 Corinthians 15:46). Spiritually, this passage paints a powerful picture of Christ and His church. Just as the Bridegroom calls His bride, Jesus is calling His people today into intimacy with Him.

The book of Romans is one of the richest, most powerful, and most theologically profound letters in all of Scripture. Written by the Apostle Paul around A.D. 56, Romans provides a clear and orderly presentation of the gospel message—showing that both Jews and Gentiles alike are in need of salvation, and that justification comes by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

As a child of God, it is imperative that we walk our christian walk with fresh oil. In Psalms 92 we read, "but my hornshalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil."
Too often we find ourselves relying on an experience from yesterday. Today we need a fresh oil from the Lord in order to be able to stand strong against the enemy, to be bold in the Lord, and to have a rejuvinated hunger for more of Him! In this late hour we are now living in, the body must be sure our zeal toward following Christ is at our highest. COVID-19 has brought to the forefront the importance of hand sanitation. We have always known that clean hands are important, but ever since the world was plagued with the pandemic last year, it seems we are all more conscientious of the bacteria and germs we pick up on our hands. As a result, we are more cognizant of eliminating the germs and bacteria on our flesh through washing our hands and using hand sanitizer.
With that in mind, we must not neglect to consider the same discipline for our spiritual man too. In this episode, we are discussing the importance of sanitizing our spirit, and some of the key elements that are important when we consider spiritual cleanliness.

The Bible warns us to not seek a doctrine that only teaches what we want to hear. Instead, we should desire to hear the whole counsel of God even when it may be uncomfortable or difficult for our flesh. Often times when we hear something that is "uncomfortable" in the Bible, then that opens the door for us to learn and to improve our lives to live more righteously according to His Word.
The only way we can improve in our life is by hearing the entirety of God's word - line upon line and precept upon precept - and applying the Word in every aspect of our daily lives. In this episode, we discuss the dangers of having a mentality of only wanting to hear smooth things.

It seems reasonable to assume all of us have faced differing degrees of rejection at some point in our lives. The impact of rejection can have long lasting residual effects on our confidence level, our ability to have future relationships, and our ability to even trust people in the future. In the world we live in today, we hear too many unfortunate stories of folks giving in to the spirit of suicide. In this episode, we discuss the spirit of suicide and how to conquer suicidal thoughts through the help of the Holy Spirit and the word of God! This life throws many obstacles our way but greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)! He will see you through no matter what you're facing. Don't lose hope. Suicidal thoughts are absolutely an attack from the enemy and God has many great and mighty things planned for your life. I believe your best days are not behind you. Recognize the battle and give it over to the Lord. I hope this episode blesses you, and I hope you find some encouragement if you struggle with this issue.

Stress and anxiety are common struggles in our culture today especially with the pressures put on us by the world. But living in a perpetual state of anxiety is not God's desire for us in this life. We can help reign this in with His help, and the word of God gives us guidance on how to get over the constant attacks of anxiety.
The Bible offers a lot of wisdom and instruction on how to deal with the destructive emotion of jealousy and envy with the Lord's help. Jealousy can be very dangerous if left unchecked in the heart of a believer. In fact, it could be said that jealousy is the gateway to other emotional struggles we face such as anger and anxiety or depression. In this episode, we discuss the issue of jealousy and discuss what the Bible has to say about this emotion and how to get over it.
In just a few weeks America will be casting her vote on who will lead this nation for the next four years. We are in trying times, and we need Jehovah God to intervene in this great nation. I feel led to enter into a period of fasting and prayer leading up to the election as a sign of humility to God and seeking His intervention for this nation. I invite you to join should you feel led.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says,
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Let this be our prayer, and God help us to align more closely with your Word. Then we believe you will heal our land.

Anger is such a common emotion, and how we handle it can either make us or break us. But we all know the story of Adam and Eve and the temptation from the serpent to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - an act that God forbade, which banished them from the garden. And ever since then, man has suffered from the darkness of sin, and we have all have since been banished due to our iniquity. But it is God's desire to restore us to the Garden of Eden, and this time it will be better because we will not face temptation and sin in our future glorious home. Wisdom and faith are the two badges we should proudly wear every day of their life. As we continue focusing on the present, we can’t talk about Christian life and growth without discussing the topics of wisdom and faith. The book of Proverbs is the wisdom book and it offers so much information to us on how we should walk in wisdom in our lives today. Faith is equally as critical as it took faith for us to believe the work Jesus accomplished on the cross. I believe wisdom and faith go hand-in-hand and they are both critical tools we need to live a life of peace and prosperity.

Salvation is undoubtedly the best moment in the Christian journey. And there is no way we can obtain salvation on our own; we need the blood of Jesus for the remission of our sins. Salvation comes when we confess our sins, and believe in the accomplished work of Jesus Christ. There is no other salvation in this world except accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Christ' love for us is by far the greatest love we could ever experience. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, but we must repent of our sins.
