Dr. Harbhajan Singh emphasizes in this talk that death is an inevitable part of life and encourages preparation for this reality. The human body, though temporary, houses an eternal soul linked to God. Recognizing this connection helps fulfill our true purpose. True consciousness arises when the soul is freed from the mind's faculties, guided by the divine sound current back to its eternal home.
The body is seen as a divine temple, and fulfilling worldly duties without attachment is crucial. A true Master guides the soul to transcend body consciousness and achieve enlightenment. Death is a transition, not an end. Embracing this truth leads to a meaningful life and realization of our divine nature.

This is the second part of the heart-to-heart talk with Dr. Harbhajan Singh the day after a public lecture entitled “Meditation – its possibilities and dangers”. This is an insightful part of a question-and-answer session with Dr Harbhajan Singh, following an introductory lecture he had given the day before.
The premise of this informal talk is that self-knowledge precedes God-knowledge - the aim of human life. The approach to it should not be mistaken with the various methods of meditation offered today, but needs the help of someone who knows the inner regions and the dangers therein. To enter in the astral region is easy, but of no help to the soul – on the contrary, astral experiences make emotional and often cause mental diseases.
Spiritual life means to be in a state of equipoise. A real Saint makes no show of his competence. He furthers the consciousness and right understanding, which creates yearning to reach the homeland of the spirit and meet the Lord.

There is a hidden link among all human beings that can emerge through love and non-violence and spread from man to man and nation to nation. It is a law in nature that everything appears, disappears and reappears according to the condition of the heart of a being. If the heart of man changes to the positive side on a large scale, peace and unity will prevail in the world. As the roots of the problems of the world lie with the spirit that is overpowered by the mind, the solution can only be found on the spiritual level. In this beautiful talk Dr Harbhajan Singh gives examples of the effects of fear and love that reflect in our behaviour.

Sant Kirpal Singh – Speech given in Texas, St. Episcopal Church, on 25th December, 1963
In this timeless talk, given on Christmas Day 1963 in the United States, Sant Kirpal Singh differentiates between Jesus and Christ, expounding that the Christ Power has lived since the beginning of the world and has manifested from time to time in different human poles. With beautiful quotations from the Bible about the 'Third Eye', the 'Everlasting life’' and the 'Light of God' Sant Kirpal Singh also explains the deep spiritual meaning of these sayings of Christ. The last part of the discourse focuses on leading a life of high moral values as a stepping stone towards God.

The Kirpal Sagar Project in the North of India is a spiritual place common to all, that invites to come together as brothers and sisters in God.
In this interview, Dr Harbhajan Singh provides insights into its main facilities, which are destined to help people practically and to further a comprehensive human development. Colour, caste and creed play no role. In boarding and public school girls and boys are educated towards the higher values of life. The Sarovar in the middle, with its Symbols of different religions, radiates an atmosphere of peace and tolerance. There is also a library with scriptures of all religions.
In any field where help is needed, it is done in a spirit of sharing, not of giving alms: whether in the home for the elderly, in the hospital or during medical camps. Through its agriculture, the Project is nearly self-sufficient. In the common kitchen people of all walks of life take their food side by side without distinction. Whether in parks or buildings, there is an inner beauty reflected everywhere.

The first part was about a true prayer being heard by the omnipotent Power that is within us, and that is meant by referring to the Master. The following part is focussed on the lasting love between soul and the Godpower.
There is a love that transcends our body, mind or emotions, and this love can only be captured from someone who is imbued with it. It is very pure and its nature is to give and go beyond all thoughts of duality and separation between different human beings. It brings the solution to many problems that we face in our daily lives because most of us are identified with our physical bodies and the outer world that we see with our physical eyes.
There is a process within us of becoming aware of the inner love, if only the spark of longing for it is aroused. The Godpower that is innate in us develops the spark of this love in us and it enlightens our life.

In this historic talk, Sant Kirpal Singh describes ‘in a nutshell the digest of what all the Masters gave when they came from time to time.’ The Master systematically addresses all the development stages of a spiritual aspirant: how to control the mind and outgoing faculties, minimise the influx of outside impressions, invert the attention, and follow a careful process of self-analysis. In this episode Sant Kirpal Singh explains the idea of achieving peace through a spiritual revolution, which involves recognizing the presence of a maker who permeates all of creation. This insight is a part of what is called right understanding.
He also talks about the higher goal of all religions - to know God - and how it can be reached. The outer expression of this power is Light and Sound and it can be perceived with the help of a true spiritual master. To experience God, Sant Kirpal Singh emphasizes that individuals must withdraw their attention from the outside world and focus on the seat of the soul through meditation.
Dr Harbhajan Singh clearly defines the work of the Godpower in contrary to the countless self-styled masters today. God is One, He is the Master of the whole humanity, so the Master is also one. This Power works in three different forms. He is like the breath of our breath, the soul of our soul and can manifest in us as the radiant form of the Master or can even materialize if we are in problems. Every human being has a direct and independent link with that Power. If our search is true, he will bring us in contact where his work is going on.
In the second part of this public lecture Dr Harbhajan Singh refers to the function of the positive power and the negative power that work in this world as well as in the human body. There is one and the same Power working for all humanity that manifested in the competent Masters, whereas hundred-thousands of self-styled ‘masters’ claim to be spiritual teachers or Gurus. Most of the seekers are misguided in two points: Who is the Masterpower? What is meditation? If one understands the secret of the third eye and knows about the Masterpower, one cannot be misled on the spiritual path.
Further it is explained what are the four coverings on the soul, what means ‘mind-ridden soul’ and what is going on in the astral plane, and a distinction is made between negative and positive experiences during meditation.
In this podcast episode, Dr Harbhajan Singh delves into the topic of spirituality, exploring its true essence and purpose. He explains that spirituality is not something new, but a heritage passed down by competent Masters who experienced the Truth. Their teachings are written in the holy scriptures. Dr Harbhajan Singh gives us a profound insight into the deeper meaning of human life, which has a lot to do with the right understanding that is hidden within us, just waiting to be unearthed. With right understanding there is also the capacity for differentiation, which is also within us. The path lies within us, it is the path of the soul and not of the intellect, emotions or mind. Unity already exists in all human beings, but we have forgotten it.
With one wing no bird can fly; the second wing of a person who lives by the higher values of life means, to put them into practice in daily life. Out of love, we help not only ourselves and our family, but all other people to live with dignity and to develop in a comprehensive way. Love helps us to understand the true meaning of life.

To recall the true meaning of Christmas has become a challenge in our modern world. Loving remembrance of Christ reminds us the purpose of our life. Like all the competent masters He came to teach us that we are all one.
Ego is the root cause that separates us from each other. In a spiritual gathering, also called Satsang, we can get right understanding to overcome it if we have the humility to learn.
This lecture was given in St. Gilgen at the 25th December 1992
Dr Harbhajan Singh talks about the importance of discriminating between experiences on the level of the soul and astral experiences. He explains the difference between mind and soul and defines what one should meditate on and where exactly the seat of the soul is located. The soul has a direct connection to God and should not come under the influence of lower powers on the inner journey. True meditation as originally taught by all competent Masters and in all religions does not start with an excess of light, but leads from the darkness to light.

Peace begins in our hearts, in our homes, then it can spread to our city, our country and throughout the world. The key to many problems in the world is to develop into true human beings, to be true to ourselves and to others, to love and respect all - knowing that at the core of our hearts we are one, despite all differences in nationality, religion, social standing, skin colour, etc.
