Today I open up about some personal life challenges I recently encountered by sustaining an injury that required surgery followed by a long recovery. I discuss the notion of identity, and pose the question of who you would be if the most important aspects of your life were taken away. I also discuss some of the realizations and reflections I have had while navigating this injury and recovery.
You are seen, you are celebrated, and you are never alone. I am so glad you're here!
To leave you with the words of advice from some of our great leaders:
"Don't be afraid to act and live your passion"
Dustin Harris, Appraiser
"All of our growth opportunities came when we were willing to take some risks"
Blaine Feyen, Head of Community
"Build your own personal brand"
Crystal Brown, Chief People Officer
"Put yourself out there. You cannot control luck, but you can put yourself in positions to absorb luck"
John Liss, CEO
Remember: To change the world, start with one person at a time. The first person being you.
