In this episode, I speak to my inner child Little Jay in a compassionate, loving, and vehemently emotional manner. I also go more deeply into why I feel like an outsider and more personal things about me while providing advice. It's riveting, comforting, hard to listen to at times, painful, and cathartic. This episode is dedicated to him and the trauma he still feels, trying to survive, and endure a world that's so divided, bitter, and bifurcated. It's not only a message to him, but there are some important life lessons in here to benefit all. You can all make it, you can all persevere and succeed! Remember when no one else believes in you, you gotta believe in yourself and in the Lord and it will happen! Your dreams will come to life because you are worthy, you are seen, you are loved, you are appreciated, and you are here to exist. God Loves You, and remember we are all butterflies in the making... 🦋

No official episode today, will see you next Thursday but enjoy this interview I recorded with my brother a couple of weeks ago!
In this episode, I reveal something very personal to me and instrumental to my inner child's longevity and survival. From a strong compelling opening about what music means to me to a hard-hitting poem inquiring about what music means to you delivered with passion and fierce, enveloped with a dark hip-hop beat. After that, I go on to talk about the Michael Jackson, The Clark Sisters, Kenny G, and Selena phases. I have the most fun reminiscing on the Selena phase, where you will hear me sing and speak in Spanish. I end of the episode with The Butterfly Note, a new series on this podcast where I end the show with an inspirational or empowering message. You're in store for a special and emotional sixth episode where I will introduce you to my current phase: The Mariah Carey Phase.

This episode follows the despairing ep. 3 (Languishing)-- this sequel is a positive introspection about how it feels to shine through the darkness, getting through the storm, and still being positive, having your smile, faith dignity, and the strength to keep going. It's fun, uplifting, light, and a little bit of pontificating but other than that it's inspirational, emotional, and empowering. It’s about that darkness still being there but learning how to shine through it and letting no one comprise your joy or inner peace. This episode is dedicated to all those who are looking for that light within yourselves, stay strong because you will find it. It’s there.

This episode is a deep, emotional look into why I feel like an outsider, living without a sense of belonging. It is an intense 23 minutes of emotional liberation, pain, hurt, and the authentic truth. My life has not always been easy, and just like caterpillars before they become butterflies, we face obstacles, harm, heartache, and so much negativity in our lives. People trying to break us down, not wanting us to succeed. This episode is dedicated to all of those out there who feel like they don't belong, who feel depressed and just trying to survive in this difficult life, who feel lost and unappreciated, who feel like they're languishing.
Episode Notes:
My sporadic emotional sighs throughout the episode are from that pain that still resides in me, and the ones at the end are from the continuation of that feeling, being an outsider and knowing that my emotions will continue to rife. All of the stories told here are true, it was really hard writing, recording, and producing this episode. Thank you to all those that ever and still do believe in me, I appreciate and love you so much. I'll be eternally grateful for you always. And to my Butterflies, the next episode will be about coming out of the storm, living through the darkness with light emanating from within. You can do anything, remember to just believe, pray, and make it happen! :)

This episode basks in the moment and effervescence of my 10th gathering! It's a positive introspection, why I will always be "eternally 10", my favorite things, and why I feel different. A nostalgic memory here, with a clip of Little Jay and a fun story. Hope you enjoy... love you much butterflies!
This episode explores my younger years and how I became involved in the world of politics, history, and started dressing in suits, etc.
