Country music drummer Max Miller '17 came home for a surprise visit in May, and Zach James caught up with the Heelan grad to see what life is like with Bailey Zimmerman.

Heelan '90 alum John Osborn returns home for a special concert with the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra this weekend at the Orpheum Theatre. He also visited Heelan on Monday, and reminisced about his time as a Crusader.

Before the Heelan girls basketball team left for the state tournament in Des Moines, Zach sat down with coach Darron Koolstra and senior Jada Newberg about what makes this trip different. The Crusaders' first opponent is Cedar Rapids Xavier, a fellow Catholic team that Heelan has faced twice in the last calendar year.
Zach and other local media chat with the four state wrestling qualifiers at CYO before they leave for the state meet later this week.
The four state qualifiers are Nico Venturi, Ben Walsh, Sir Brandon Watts and Ethan DeLeon.
Catholic Schools Week is in the rearview mirror, but before it ended, Zach chatted with Fr. Travis Crotty and Lexi Ricke '17 to talk about how powerful the faith is inside the Heelan High School building.

Back in April, Crusaders boys basketball coach and Morningside grad Matt Hahn had expectations of how he wanted the team to look. After a 7-1 start through the first week of January, Hahn is pleased with how the Crusaders have played, but still has a challenge for the Heelan boys.
While she is stepping away from a full-time role at Bishop Heelan, Janet Flanagan sits down with Zach to discuss what her role is going forward and what Heelan has meant to her since graduating from here in 1971.
