How many times have we felt unable to drag ourselves to the gym or to perform basically any type of exercise? We know it’s necessary, we know it’s rewarding, we know it’s good for us, but sometimes it’s just impossible to apply what we know.

I feel that most of the time, we hit the gym for that one, two hours, and then struggle with doing again it the next day. For many people, there seems to be a continuous battle between knowing they should workout, but not really wanting to because they perceive exercise as torture or simply not as fun. Training holistically is incorporating every aspect of health into exercise: physical training, nutrition, and mindset, and it can be a turning point in maximizing the benefits of getting into a training routine.

In this episode part 1 of 2, we touch on the physical and nutritional aspects of training. Tune in and get ready to be motivated, as Mark and I share some tips for optimal results, and correct some of the misconceptions surrounding the training and fitness industry.

Mark Fitzsimons is a transformation coach and personal trainer based in Dubai. He believes in a holistic approach to exercising, which is equally about the right nutrition and mindset as it is about training. Doing things right at the gym extends to life outside of it. It’s combining good sleep, proper nutrition, taking breaks, boosting your mental health, appreciating rest days, and unwinding to get to fuel up again.

With over 10 years of expertise in the fitness industry, Mark’s guidance can bring you many steps closer towards your goal, through providing you with the tools necessary to get started - and keep going.
