Here's a fun little scene I animated for Gohan vs Goku! I would upload something longer, but I don't want to spoil too much. I'm like 90% done with the rough animation. It's getting there! Then I'll move onto lineart, and I'll definitely stream so...
During the midst of the fighting, we get some reactions from a couple of the on-lookers. Why yes, I am including other characters in this besides Goku and Gohan.
Nothing too animated here, but I'm trying my best to pace myself since this is going to wind up being a beefy video in the end. With that said, I did manage to squeeze in a stylized head turn reminiscent of what Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada, and Naoki Tate would do at Studio Seigasha.

Studying Naoki Tate helped me a lot when I first picked up animating, and he's someone I always go back to when looking for inspiration. I think his loose but kind of snappy style really interesting and fun to watch.

Wow look at this totally legit and convincing pencil test I found for the canceled Jak and Daxter animated film! Isn't that crazy? It's so weird that Sony just left this lost media laying around on my laptop.

I really wanted to push myself with some background animation, and this was the result of that. It was fun! I learned some things, and I think it came out nicely. Don't expect all my practice to be colored. It just depends on how I'm feeling.

It took me a few months starting in late September, but I got it done! I was inspired by Mazumaro's "Myth's Bad Ending" fan animation, and I wanted to make a sort of companion video while adding my own personality to it.
It isn't nearly as crazy, but I'm still very proud of it! I hope you all like it!
