This week sees a look ahead to the penultimate round of the SGP Series as Bartosz Zmarzlik looks to wrap up world title number 4, whilst Mateusz Cierniak looks to complete a SGP2 double. There is a look ahead to the Premiership KO Cup Final as Sheffield take on Ipswich, both looking to pick up the first big silverware of the season. Mikkel Michelsen stayed in control of the SEC Series, but it was Leon Madsen who took the stop step in Bydgoszcz for what is looking an exciting climax. We are joined on the show by Adam Roynon, as he talks of life with Poole and Edinburgh Academy, as well as his Cardiff experience. He takes on Rob in the quiz, which was extended as Adam looked to gain the initiative. It was Ben Cook who took the Rider of the Week, whilst the KO Cup Final was the focus of our Meeting of the Week. It's an exciting week ahead for the trio as they look forward to once again meeting up and taking in two big upcoming meetings, namely the British SGP at Cardiff and the Championship League Pairs at Oxford on the previous evening. With Cain travelling back from Redcar, Nathan and Rob take up the mantle on the show, and talk about Charles Wright winning the Championship League Riders Championship. Due to some technical issues, both Connor Bailey and Ashton Boughen were unable to take their place on the show, but Nathan and Rob continued in earnest with their review of the previous weeks action, whilst also looking at some interesting stories to come out of the sport this week, including the return of Artem Laguta to the UK. The lads looked forward to an important week for the youngsters as Birmingham look forward to hosting the British U19 Final, and Sam Hagon joined them for a chat to discuss his season, and how he might fair on his new home track. He also took on Nathan in what turned out to be a Podcasg first for the show. The speedway season started in earnest, eventually, after the rain initially interrupted, with meetings at Sheffield, the Ben Fund Bonanza at Kings Lynn and Sam Masters Testimonial at Wolves.  Nathan handed over the cheque for £150 to Paul Ackroyd live on BSN, with Chris Abbs securing the £75 winners prize. With Cain once again away with work commitments, it was down to Nathan and Rob to discuss all matters Championship, with an emphasis on those that just missed out on the playoffs, as well as those who managed to sneak the last couple of places.  The boys paid homage to Cain by suggesting anybody with a remotely low average would be joining Glasgow this season!!!  Rob was in particularly high spirits, with some outrageous claims about a couple of the sides in the reviews.  There was also some talk regarding the confirmed signings to date.  All views are our own.

The trio finally made it back together as they discussed the finer points of British Speedway, this week delving into the Championship PO Final being held on a neutral track as Poole over came Leicester at Kings Lynn. There was also the news surrounding the extra fixtures in the Championship as of 2023 as they were increased from 18 to 32 and the removal of pointless fixtures. This point quickly followed by the Jubilee final taking place next season between 2 teams who will be in different leagues. They also continued their end of season reviews with NDL winners Leicester, and a look at the bottom sides from the Championship, namely Newcastle, Birmingham and Oxford. All views are our own.

It was an exciting climax to the SGP season as the final chapter was written for 2022, and the top 6 booked their places in the 2023 series.  We look ahead with our predictions as to who the lucky 6 might be for next season but for Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley, there were no concerns. Mateusz Cierniak was crowned the new SGP2 champion as he reached another final in Torun.  Also on the show this week are the usual look back at our predictions, the Watt vs Ludlow challenge, and an interesting debate sparked by the news of Robert Lambert joining up with Belle Vue for the Play Offs.  We also look at the sad news of Swindon Speedway no longer riding at the Abbey stadium. Great Britain took home two medals from Speedway of Nations last weekend but were sadly unable to retain their monumental gold from last year. Having to settle for a silver from the senior meeting and bronze from the SON2, but both results are still very positive and a sign of just how far our riders have progressed thanks to the change of setup with Team GB. Other talking points from this week feature the colossal amount of injuries we're continuing to see plague the British League, Kings Lynn's new number 1 (who wasn't announced when we recorded, but best of luck to Nicolai on his return to our shores), plus we take a look to the upcoming British Final taking place Monday 1st August, however, with the show recorded Sunday 31st July, if we didn't get the winner right, cut us a little slack! Ryan Mitchell came in as a late choice of guest replacement for the unavailable Cain Watt and what an inspired guest it turned out to be with a new trio for 1 week only, being joined on the show by joint Team GB boss Olly Allen, to discuss all things SON as they prepare for the week long event starting next week.
