Chris also takes us through the fascinating history of scanning technology and how it has evolved over the past 10 years. He explains how the Faro 150 scanner provides an impressive accuracy of three mils over 300 feet, replacing old methods of measuring with a tape measure and a heavy bag. The scanner allows for measurements to be taken quickly and safely from the ground and provides a 3D model of the area that can be accessed later if needed.
