We all want to learn new insights about life, and if we are honest, it would be nice to have someone read to us a short story of the insightfulness they gained. Hello, I'm Effie Fields - the podcast show’s host and a short story writer who's excited to read to you what Jesus has taught me about life. Please join me every Tuesday to get inspired and be ready to learn something new from Jesus for story time with Effie!

A lot of us struggle with waiting on God to be married. I'm no different, and here I am, sharing my short story about what I'm learning by waiting for God. There's some honest tea in this story, so grab you're tea or water like I had, lol, and let's get into this insightful story. Shall we?

I get honest with you guys and share what I'm experiencing in this waiting season. I feel slightly uncomfortable talking about this subject, so I am extra silly in today's story. I hope you gain insight into how God wants you to wait for him to bring you a Godly person to marry.

Visit my YouTube channel, Effie's Story Time, to watch the improv acting of my stories. I want to say those videos are improv skits, but my YouTube channel may be the place for me to express my stories with extra silliness. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKYtQaK6GtgoGcucgg3TkIg

Today's short story is about self-love and why Jesus wants you to learn the unique personality and characteristics that God created you to be. I hope this story encourages you to pursue a journey of self-love, and please know that loving yourself (not the prideful, sinful type) is Biblical. You must understand what makes you unique so you can give others love.

Who did God create you to be?

I chose to say "yes, Lord" to begin this Podcast TODAY. But my question for Jesus is, how far can I go? Listen to my short story about stepping out in faithful obedience today and trust that Jesus will show you the way.

My favorite line in the story is: I need to be obedient today, and Jesus will make the way.

Has Jesus been asking you to trust him with faithful obedience, but you fear the future? I hope my short story encourages you to say "yes, Lord" and not to worry about the entire path. Just take the first step for Jesus, and he will place the next stepping stone for you on the pathway for you to take.

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.  Psalms 25:4 NIV
