Mary Danielsen chats with Sheri Few of USPIE (United States Parents Involved in Education) and the ways they encourage parents to take back responsibility for their child’s education. As daunting a task as it sounds to bring the multiple federal education mandates such as CRT, Marxist ideology and sex-ed to a close, Sheri is a tireless worker toward that end and believes it is possible for the states to take responsibility for educating the kids. At the very least, parents should be empowered to choose how and what their children learn, whether it is through the public schools, private schools, or homeschooling. The recent pandemic shone a light on just how much the parents of government school kids had lost touch with what was going on in the classroom. We chat about the blueprint for removing federal mandates over education, and how to engage governors and state legislators on the issue. He speaks nationwide about God in Government, apologetics, prophecy, and Biblical Worldview issues. Paul serves on the Board of Directors for Bott Radio, and the Oklahoma Apologetics Alliance.
Paul Blair was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1986 playing under Coach Mike Ditka and alongside Hall of Famers Walter Payton, Dan Hampton, and Mike Singletary. At the age of 37, Paul Blair was called into full-time ministry. His passion is for the salvation of souls and also the restoration of Godly morality and decency in America.
In 2008, Pastor Blair was one of the original 33 pastors that worked with the Alliance Defense Fund on Pulpit Freedom Sunday challenging the constitutionality of the 1954 Johnson Amendment. The number of pastors participating has increased every year since with over 1600 participating in 2012. Following the 2012 Pulpit Freedom Sunday, the IRS admitted that churches are tax exempt and do not require approval or a letter of exemption from the IRS.
