Annoyed and Unworthy. These are just a couple of words used to describe how Christian’s make some people feel. Personally, I can relate, because not only have I experienced this from other fellow Christians, but more importantly I have used these words to describe how I feel about myself. In “A Tried Woman of God”, I invite you to walk with me or watch me from the side line as I share with you the highlights, the high-lows and the Hell no’s of my walk with God. There is protection in rejection but first of course we will experience the growing pangs of it all. Potential is cute, but its the blind date that never shows up. Lastly, something happens when you pray.
This week is a great time to really reflect on who Jesus is and what he has done. We are going to talk about being fickle and recognizing what our 30 pieces (our price) for giving up on walking with Jesus. We all have or have had a price. So Lets Talk about it.
Jesus calls the people who love Him. In the struggle, in the hard times, when it does not feel good, when it is unfair...because when we fix our eyes on Him, even though others may not, He will take care of us. Always and on time. All this was very easy to type...it has been extremely hard to practice. Lets talk.

This has been a great routine for me to stop and think about what God had done and reflect on where I was and where I have come while I have been walking with Him.
I am here to share my goofy interpretations of the bible, my frustrations with my walk but express how I cannot imagine going back to the me I use to be. I am becoming. I am here to help you see this is just life, but life without being alone. Welcome back my faithful listeners and a warm welcome to my new listeners!!!

We have many questions for God and he welcomes them all but have we ever just looked inward with these questions?
This walk is not the most popular and I am often challenged as to why I step. "Born Again" is the term. The world has much to over offer but when placed next to what God has to offer there is no comparison. The two gems I get from this walk that I know the world could not provide, is peace and security. So lets talk about it.
The bible has some really vile things in it and for that reason is why some people do not want to read it. However, I feel like we see the same bad things in todays world. So do not let the bad parts of the bible keep you from reading it.
Why do we feel that God has limitations on his love like he didn’t just sacrifice His son for our sins? We cannot afford to forget the price that was paid. He loves you. He loves you. He loves you.
Mulan was a jam, but anywho…next to decade coffee concentrate, I would love to be with a God fearing man but right now the world is fully in stock with “good” men and I have struggled with the understanding on why just getting a goof man just isn’t enough. Why Lord? But the more I stay in my word, it slowly starts to make sense.
The world is giving us access to do as we please. With out bodies, with someone else’s body as well as what we are allowed to put in our body. The enemy wants us to believe that we are in control. He helps feed the fleshly desire by questioning Gods word. As he has done so from the beginning. But let’s stop and ask, who’s body is it?
When you don't have a solid foundation, it's easy to move with the wind. The world's views are changing rapidly and every day, all on the basis of feelings. The word of God does not change, it is timeless and holds true, no matter the century.
The bible tells us not to lean on our own understanding and that the truth shall set us free. Getting involved in the bible helps you understand truth so no one can push you yo a different place.
I took the time to get lost in the gospels and I was so fascinated that I think reading them every year is a must for me. Just like a smeggular human being I was yearning to understanding if the people in my past ever loved me. Mindlessly thinking if I piece the good parts together, I’ll have the perfect picture of love. It wasn’t until I fully understand Jesus walk….that I knew he loved me. Honestly, I still don’t understand it and times I don’t feel worthy enough to accept it. But this is the purest love, I have experienced. (Music by: @southern)
There is a reason we are told to not be a busy body in other men's matters. We are going to miss the blessing infront of us worried about what someone else has. Stay in your lanee...there is a blessing there. (Music by: @Southern)
Worry is like that thing you can’t stand. Always around and serving no purpose. Jesus invites us to not worry but instead to focus on Him. He knows what you need. This is also something I struggle with so let’s walk. (Music by @Southern)
One of the shortest books in the bible spills over with knowledge. It is also the book that I feel has the biggest cliffhanger. We talk about the crippling effects of being angry and seeing some of the common traits we share with Jonah. We have all been there before. Music by @Southern *
Reading the Bible can be overwhelming and confusing at times, but it is serves when you stay in it. The bible helps us to grow, teaches us to lead and love and shows us how much God loves us. ❤️ Today's music is by @southern.
The bible says that when we choose Jesus, the old us has passed away. So that got me thinking...does that mean I will never love the way I use to again? What does loving with this new heart look like for me? What does it look like for?
We have all at someone made ourselves smaller than we actually are to either fit in or to make someone else comfortable. It is time to stop hiding who you are to please everyone else. The world is missing a you, so stop hiding. Stand up, stand out, and walk in your truth.
With this being the last week of the year, let's take time to reflect one who we became this year. Refine your focus on the important things and go forth and grow!!
It's almost Christmas guys. A great time to start doing self reflections. A lot of us know what we should and could be doing bur we have a plethora of excuses on why we haven't. Let's flip the script and find an excuse to start. Don't miss out on unlocking the best version of who you are.
My (who I imagine to be beautiful) Samson. Young and in love yet gone too soon. Many of us, me especially, have been in relationships that required more than they were willing to give. While we are deeply valuing that person, they are possibly plotting against us or using us. Reading the story of Adam and Eve provides so much clarity to the sinful world we live in today. A bite of an apple just because doubt about who God is made its way in. So I ask today, what is your apple? What is something you have choose and are choosing because you desire the control, the outcome, the feeling..?
Often times I feel the things I go through are unrelated to Jesus. As I spend more time in his word, I am able to see the emotional wounds he endured, and overall he has experienced it first.
Things I do to prepare to honor God daily. I understand I can't do this on my own and do not care to do so since God has offered so many promises in his word that I am still discovering at least every week.
Today I am talking about how my relationship came to be with God. I had a lot of restarts but I invite you into what my spiritual walk looked like to what it looks like now. All in all I'm a hot mess that's gets better every day.
Praying for Your Enemies can be the most effective thing you can do for them. Now the results of praying for them you may never see or they may not get got the way you think God is going to deal with them but all in all, it will definitely help you each time you do it. It's humbling and rewarding. God throws hands better than we do. I promise.
I know I am not alone but there are times we have rough patches that makes us want to be mad at everyone instead of focusing on God. Don't let the circumstances distract you from His purpose. He has you but I keep it real with Him and express how much I don't like the discomfort.
I am team ENJOY YOUR SINGLENESS. If you can't stand spending time with yourself and getting to know yourself how do you expect others to do so. Find out who you are and whose you are. I absolutely love who I am becoming when I finally realized the purpose and the benefits of being single and I am still loving and learning. Didn't start off like that but it's never too late to see the blessings in your gift of Singleness!!
I dislike seeing poor communication in the work place. It almost seems like they give the title more power than their personality. This tries me. I constantly pray for God to fix my heart and thoughts because I am honestly ready to put someone to the test. What are some examples of poor communication that you see in your work place ? What are some ways you have the hard conversations with others ?
For a long time I felt like I had to have a say and a hand in everything that went on in my life. When things did not go my way, I let that pull me down. I let that keep me down at times. In life we have choices we have to make but for me I felt like I was the reason my life would be good or bad. I am not wrong but I took on too much that did not belong to me. I got to a point where I prayed the prayer and left it there while I walked in faith...a little reluctantly but I walked. I no longer wanted to be the center of my life, so I gave it to God.
Faith for many can mean many things. As it should be. It is both personal and intimate. Faith and fear cannot occupy the same space and a lot of the time for me, the fear comes from relinquishing control. I have the idea at times that I have to control it but my realities have been, I really need to give it up. Which for some reason feels harder than controlling my life. There have been many times where I have just finally gave it to God and relaxed. So tell me, what does Faith look like for you?
In the past, I have had my Bible study group challenge their thoughts of themselves with God's word. I found this to help me pull from my current situation and measure it next to God. He always stood taller. God is not small and there is nothing he can't handle however, we are limited and with the knowledge I allow God to take first dibs on any situation because I know he hits harder than I do. I challenge you today to fight your situation and your thoughts by meditating on God's love.
There are times I beat myself up for my failures instead of allowing myself grace. At times it keeps me from moving forward but I am working on ways to pull myself out of that funk. What are somethings you do to keep moving forward?
Touching on the 3 categories of life that can have boundaries in place. Family, relationships and work. Touching on scriptures to review and going over book suggestions. What are some books or scripturs you have read that have helped you implement your boundaries?
Sometimes jobs/careers ask for every fiber of your being in exchange for money. I am not interested in sacrificing my peace and sanity for anyone. It's a poor reflection of self love. I think it's good to be invested but I also believe there is a cut off time. What are some work boundaries you have in place?
We are relational beings. We were literally made for each other but I know all of us at some point have been in unhealthy relationships with either friends, co-workers, or significant others. God has set boundaries for us, so we should be able to feel safe and empowered, setting boundaries for others. What does setting boundaries look like for you? How has having them helped or limited you?
I have noticed that when it comes to family, some of the members think they are entitled to every part of you. You know? Because you guys are family. Some of them want free daycare, they want to be in your business by any means necessary, respect is absent for you but better be present when you speak to them. It is almost as if they feel like, since they have seen you as a baby, a baby you remain to them. Well that is until they need something from you. Well, family members are not exempt from respecting your boundaries and you are not exempt from respecting your families boundaries. What are some boundaries you have seen crossed by your family? What are some boundaries you have decided to set?
