In this episode of the Kingdom Flow podcast, hosts Kyle and Ian dive into the theme of competition and its impact on our lives as believers. Ian starts by sharing a humorous incident where he lost a battle with a bucket and injured his nose.. Reflecting on the experience, he reveals that the Holy Spirit reminded him that our actions can cause conflicts and serve as a valuable lesson.
Kyle joins the conversation by highlighting how our competitive nature can sometimes lead us to lose control. However, God intervenes to remind us that we are all on the same team. It is crucial for us to recognize and be aware of the schemes and tactics the enemy employs.

Insecurity can lead to detrimental downfalls, such as pride, so it is essential to remain rooted in Christ.
Ian expresses his desire to leave behind a legacy of diligently working for God's Kingdom. He emphasizes that being a high-level achiever does not necessarily entail financial success, but rather continuous personal growth. They challenge listeners to squeeze the juice out of the lemons that life gives us and give their all in every endeavor. In this episode of the Kingdom Flow Podcast, Kyle Jones and Ian Sperry discuss the importance of endurance, faithfulness, discipline, and staying true to one's beliefs. They share personal stories and offer practical advice on developing endurance and character through intentional living, establishing routines, and staying the course.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[08:29] Endurance Produces Character
People may prepare for something without knowing where they will end up. However, one can't stay in the fight without having a plan. Without preparing for anything specific, one can't build endurance that produces character and leads to hope.
[30:28] Discipline Equals Freedom
It's important to show complete dedication to faithfulness, staying the course, and keeping the fight even when the outer pressures of life are coming strong. The outward pressures and circumstances in one's life may not change, but our internal perspective can. A plan, an established routine, and keeping up with it while modifying and adapting as needed are keys to success. Living a structured life does not mean sacrificing fun but instead creates freedom by taking away the guesswork. The fruit will come from patiently enduring by faith.
[49:31] Leave it to God
Be intentional with living instead of being reactive. From how broken the hosts were to how they've been able to transition over many years in their lives and how they want to live is the essence behind Kingdom Flow. Know that suffering will lead to good things—endurance, character, and ultimately, hope in the Holy Spirit. Ian ends with a prayer, hoping that people's faith would increase so they can have a breakthrough in life.
Notable Quotes:
[14:32] “All I really knew was ..., from a Biblical standpoint, ... to keep the faith.”
[25:41] “I don’t necessarily know how to win the race. I just know I gotta get up and run.”
[23:59] “God's called all of us to be a shepherd at some level, to our families, and then to those that we employ or work with.”

[01:19] Catching Problems Early
It's a good idea to get tested regularly by a healthcare professional. Medical technology can detect many health concerns before they become life-threatening; ignorance is not bliss. It's best to catch illnesses — like cancer and heart diseases — as early as possible while they're easy to treat.
[11:17] Take Your Health Seriously
Many struggle with stress and an unbalanced diet. Sugary sodas and processed foods can take a toll, and it's vital to take your health seriously. Don't be ignorant or apathetic to the impact of your lifestyle choices.
To live a kingdom lifestyle, take care of your physical health as it affects your energy and relationships. Neglecting your health can hinder your progress and leave you tired and unmotivated. A healthy individual should have a balanced and thriving spiritual and physical well-being.
[23:39] We Have Victory in Christ
Ian suffered from catastrophizing, which caused him mental exhaustion, created financial strain, and took a toll on his marriage. He realized he needed to walk by faith, not sight, to overcome it. Kyle developed a prayer for his kids, asking for God's protection, blessings, and leadership over their lives.
[51:12] Healthy Fear to Move You to Action
Developing confidence in prayer and one's relationship with God can help people take control of their lives and live a kingdom lifestyle, leading to God's favor. Kyle and Ian close with a prayer for those facing health and relationship challenges, seeking confidence to advance God's kingdom.

[19:36] “One little wedge and a thought or behavior ... could really manifest into so many other areas in your life.”
[20:12] “Faith is the core in believing and adopting this kingdom mentality is our core belief system.”
[39:04] “When you're thinking something crazy … [take] that thought captive, ‘Lord, take it away’.”
Purity, holiness, and the destruction of sin are all vital components of our personal growth and development. Our lives are like a long-distance race that requires patience, persistence, and hard work. But with every small step forward, we are building habits and making changes that will last a lifetime.
What does a sin-free life look like? How can making sacrifices propel us forward? In this episode of the Kingdom Flow Podcast, hosts Kyle Jones and Ian Spencer talk about sacrificing our fleshly desires to serve not ourselves, but God.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[10:04] Walking in Righteousness
Kyle talks about the example of Joshua, where God showed a miracle by collapsing the walls of Jericho with just the power of His people's voices. But when Joshua and the people encountered one minor setback, they questioned God's intentions. The people chose not to listen and obey God, and their sins brought them to their destruction.
[16:53] Taking Action and Moving Forward
Joshua knew that their defeat was because of sin in their camp, and cried. However, he already knows what the problem is, so he should find the sin and figure it out. Ian then relates this scene to the present, where business owners and moms and dads ask, "Why is it not working? What's the problem? Why am I not blessed?" There is something in our lives that is blocking His presence, blocking the flow, and most of the listeners already know what it is.
[19:52] Put Your Faith in God
Kyle shares that praying but not actively doing anything about what you wish for is holding us back. When we do that, we truly don't put our faith and hope in God. He advises, we have to check ourselves constantly, and we also have to have an accountability partner. Ian adds that purification and purging are happening around us, because God wants to elevate us in righteousness.
[32:12] Reprioritization
Change can be done quickly if people are willing to expose areas where there is sin, and make the necessary changes. Those changes may be subtle but after some time, people will be able to look back and see how far they have come. When experiencing personal and work-related problems, it's most likely because of sin. It's best to remove sin and work towards a faith-based standard of living to receive blessings. Kyle recommends to just start—prioritize your word, your quiet time, your time with your spouse. Living a life for God requires sacrifice and putting aside one's own desires in order to serve Him and advance His kingdom.
Notable Quotes:
[28:50] “God wants to elevate us in righteousness.”
[36:53] “You're wondering why things in the home are not right. You're wondering why your business is not succeeding or moving at the rate it should. You're wondering why you're not climbing the ladder or why everyone else seems to be passing you up. It's because most likely, there's sin in the camp.”
[47:36] “A little sacrifice goes a long way.”
One’s actions must align with beliefs and mission statements, both in business and personal life. Leadership is not about being perfect. Rather, it's about being the light that keeps showing up and being bold.
How can you influence people to show up and take action? Joining us on this episode of The Kingdom Flow Podcast is Chris Vester, entrepreneur and co-host of “Faith. Family. Fulfillment.” Podcast. He shares his insights on leadership, knowing oneself better, and being intentional.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[15:17] Leading by Example
Some people do business without a strategic plan or purpose statement. Chris began developing his faith and leadership, starting with strategic business planning and incorporating core values. He then became a coach for others, which evolved into a leadership development program that involved working on life's spiritual, mental, and physical aspects.
[21:30] Keeping Christ at the Center
Someone asked Chris what he would think if one of his daughters married someone just like him. This wake-up call made him realize his impact on people close to him. In addition, he and his wife were able to navigate tough challenges in marriage thanks to keeping Christ at the center of their relationship.
[31:40] Showing Up and Being Bold
Chris talks about being a light and showing up as a believer in one's faith. He encourages others to build their brand and social presence to let others know who they are. Instead of using "God's will" as an excuse for laziness, take action and stack habits to build one's faith.
Notable Quotes:
[08:09] “Find physical challenges, find these ways to create and cultivate an atmosphere to really hear from God.”
[26:36] “If you're not in integrity with yourself, then you really have no business leading other people, honestly.”
[1:04:16] “When you start doing your daily devotional time, you got to start to keep doing it.”
[1:08:12] “Stay focused on what Jesus has already called you to do, continue to take territory and continue to grow.”

In this day and age, we are often taught to aspire for money, status, and fame. But what happens when we get there? Will we truly be happy with our achievements?
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, Super Bowl Champion Steve Weatherford shares how all his achievements still left him empty and broken. Get to know Steve’s journey of receiving Jesus, getting lost with earthly achievements, and finally rededicating himself to the Lord.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[09:06] The Importance of Being Intentional with Faith
Steve is known for his achievements in the Super Bowl and the NFL, but he felt empty despite all his achievements. Steve then became fully committed to God and realized what He wants is more important than his earthly desires. When Steve moved into a new home, he went to every room and prayed in addition to anointing the doorways with oil. This is because he wants to be intentional about his faith.
[17:23] God’s Purpose for Us
Steve shares that everyone is like a fighter jet, but before we can launch toward our purpose, our launching pad needs to be in order. The components of the launching pad are: being clear on who we are, knowing who you belong to, knowing what matters most, what your core values are, and discipline.
[48:16] Cultivating your Relationship with God
We all want a level of certainty and think pursuing more in our profession is the right method. But, we need to take the leap of faith. After retiring from the NFL, Steve went back to church and was invited to a men’s conference. This was Steve’s defining moment of stepping out of the religion and forming a real relationship with God.
[01:14:07] Give Meaning to Your Life
Steve asks listeners to give meaning to their moments. If you’re not ready then that’s okay. Remember that whatever you’re ready for will be ready for you. Remember, it’s not just about making a decision. It’s about taking action. Live a life where every morning is about going back and getting closer to God.
Notable Quotes:
[37:34] If we renew our hearts and our minds first, and submit to the presence, that transformation will follow.
[49:07] The word is a lamp unto our feet and a light into our path.
[1:05:07] You can't follow…and receive everything that God has for you if you're still holding on to the past.

God calls us to be a steward of His grand creation. That means planting seeds for the future — but our duty as stewards doesn’t stop there. Seeds need nurturing; they need our love, care, and faith to grow into something grand that adds to His greater glory.
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, we discuss what it means to plant a seed. What is a seed? What threatens our seed? How do we defend our seed from the Enemy — and sometimes protect our seed from ourselves? We'll answer these questions to help the Kingdom Flow through you and bring Heaven into the world today.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:* Learn what it means to be a goal-oriented person * Understand what it means for something to be your seed * Create a lasting legacy for God’s greater glory * Identify what things in your life are your seeds
Episode Highlights:[06:07] Lessons from RunningBeing a goal-oriented person needs you to be more than completing tasks. It's about finding what your capabilities are and looking for a better way to do things. What can you learn? You can begin by aiming for just completion, but there's always something more to do.
[16:59] Don’t Give Up On Your SeedWhatever you sow, you will reap. If you put in the effort to do something, don't give up on it. Consider Galatians 6:9 — "Let us not be weary in doing well, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." Whatever you put in, whether it's a financial, physical, social, or spiritual investment, it will return; this is a principle of God's Word. Don't let the Enemy take it, and be sure to care for it yourself.
[35:54] Leave a LegacyWhen you plant a seed you must nurture it. Teach your children to be compassionate and faithful; be a good steward of the temple God gave you. But be patient — give your seed time to grow.
[46:58] Identify Your SeedYou must be intentional about your seeds. Identify them — are they your children, a business, or something else? Do something for your seeds, and you’ll see the results of your nurturing. Defend it from the difficulties you face today so that your harvest does not suffer in the future.
Notable Quotes:[14:03] “It's about having the discipline and having the mentality that it's not about the completion of a task that makes me a goal-oriented person. Because that's not good enough for me, frankly, because when you hit that goal, there's always going to be something else.”
[20:41] “If you're not careful, the Enemy is not just going to try to take you out on big things. He's even here to steal your fun.”
[42:10] “When you plant a seed, and a couple of weeks later, you see just a little green? That’s what God does for us. He shows us a little bit of green to go, ‘Hey, it’s working. Keep going.’”
[50:28] “My family is not going to have to slay the giants that are already slayed by God. They will not slay the giants that have already slayed, because I'm putting it in today.”

With so much going on in our lives, it can be easy to let the Sabbath slip by. But there is a reason why we must keep the Sabbath. Taking time out each week to rest, relax and remember your faith can have profound effects on your wellbeing.
In this episode, Ian and Kyle discuss the importance of the Sabbath and rest, and its spiritual and physical benefits. Join them as they talk about how to keep the Sabbath holy.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Highlights:
[06:53] Sticking to Resolutions
Start with one small thing, conquer it, then move on to the next. Next thing you know, your molehill has turned into a mountain. When you commit to something, you’ll find what you seek.
[11:03] Seeking Peace
The Kingdom of God represents peace and resting in the Lord. How are you putting yourself in a position where you can posture your heart to receive His gift of peace?
Resting does not mean simply doing nothing. You must actively do things that will ensure outward and inward peace. Curate your environment to align with the peace you’re seeking.
[18:11] The Importance of Rest
When we’re tired, we become tempted the most. So you need to take care of your physical health. Remember that the Sabbath is not negotiable.
Get help if needed to keep the Sabbath. God has called on you to do incredible things but you can’t do them if you are feeling tired and burned out. What could you do to fill your tank again? What do you enjoy that gives you life and rest?
[27:23] Being Still
Rest is God’s gift to man. Come to the Lord for rest because His burden is light. Make it a habit to be still every day for a few minutes to an hour to communicate with the Lord.
[36:31] Resting in God’s Presence
We have to rest in God’s Word. If you’re not reading the Bible, you cannot know God’s Will. Keep persisting and reading His Word. Be careful not to make reading the Bible a burden.
[42:36] How to Spend Sabbath
Carve out a 24-hour period as your Sabbath. During that time, do something that energizes you. Set aside time for prayer. Be intentional about spending Sabbath and resting.

We need to be aligned with our spouse to keep our marriage healthy. And in God’s direction, any marriage can flourish and grow.
In this episode, Ian and Kyle are joined by their wives, Michaela and Lindsay, to talk about vulnerabilities and finding alignment as a couple. Join them as they talk about how to create a safe space as a couple through intentional conversations.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Highlights:
[01:46] Creating Alignment as a Couple
Often, couples can be frustrated with each other when they do not center their relationship on God. When your relationship with God is good, it also reflects the health of your marriage. It’s important to work on yourself daily and be around the people you want to model your marriage after.
[06:36] Taking Ownership of the Situation
You cannot change your partner’s mind, only yours. Taking ownership of certain aspects of a situation can transform your life. When difficult changes meet resistance in you and your partner, you can expect growth in the marriage. Don’t pull back when things start to get hard.
[09:44] Intentional Responses
As a stay-at-home mom, Michaela prioritizes having intentional pauses throughout her day. Taking the time to recoup and touch base with her faith helps her get into the right mindset to handle her kids.
[21:00] Intentional Time with your Spouse
Having a specific time and schedule to have vulnerable conversations with your spouse is important. One way to achieve this is by being intentional with date nights.
[29:47] Dealing with Blow ups
When your spouse opens up about their feelings, help them to process their emotions. As a couple, you can control the number of arguments you have when you give space for vulnerable emotions and conversations. Let your emotions out into the open and resolve them with grace.
[33:32] What Wives Desire from their Spouses
Michaela loves when Ian studies the Word. This practice makes her feel like they are going in the right direction in the relationship. You can protect and secure your marriage by being aligned with God. Knowing your spouse’s love language also shows you are intentional and focused on your marriage.
[38:16] Being Best Friends with Your Spouse
By creating a safe space and knowing the ins and outs of each other, you will naturally become best friends with your spouse. In a marriage, you are both doing life together. You are a team. It’s important to be in union with each other and with God.
Notable Quotes:
[03:11] “Now our marriage is soaring because I'm finding things in God that I was looking for in Ian.”
[07:04] “I'm going to continue praying for you, I can't change you, I can just take ownership over the things that I can control.”
[13:49] “We can use things externally to create that environment and create that atmosphere to allow us to submit our hearts and to make it easier to posture ourselves to allow the kingdom to truly flow through us.”

When you’re growing in Christ as a couple, the marriage becomes sweeter. But what happens when both of you are not on the same page? Well, trust that transformation happens when you least force it – and by the grace of God, just allow your own transformation to inspire your spouse to know God more. Then together, you will be building your legacy as you’re living by faith and growing confidence in Christ.
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, our lovely wives, Michaela Sperry and Lindsay Jones, are joining this discussion as they share their own spiritual journeys and how they’re living out their faith as our wives, as moms, and as women.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Highlights:
[10:33] Spending Time with the Lord
Every woman is so busy, whether you're a stay-at-home mom or you’re working, the checklist of things to do is just never-ending. But we’ve got to stop making excuses and make it a priority to spend time with the Lord. Once we’re able to make that happen, it’s amazing how everything will just fall into place. Carve out some time, preferably in the morning, and it just helps set yourself up for the day. There might be days you feel exhausted and that’s okay, don’t condemn yourself.
[16:33] A True Partnership
It has to start with us. But in order for us to get and go where God wants us to go, we've got to have our helpmate on board with us, too. When couples get together, things begin to move at a new level and we begin to see true life change and family change – and then legacy begins to happen.
[18:29] Listening to the Leadership of Your Spouse
Sometimes, it requires patience in seeing your spouse go in the same direction as you do. Transformation can happen without you having to force anything on your spouse. Just let them experience your own transformation and their own transformation will just begin to happen.
[22:56] The Importance of Keeping Boundaries
When the Holy Spirit is moving in your life radically as a family, things just start to shift. That could mean having to put some boundaries and making difficult decisions in order to keep what you have. For instance, that could be letting go of relationships when they don’t align with your values anymore. Choose to spend your time with people who are going to contribute or build you up in what your family is trying to accomplish.
[35:45] Communicating with Empathy
Communication really matters. Make sure you and your spouse are coming in with empathy and doing whatever you can to work together. Then you will receive the ultimate gift of peace, something a lot of couples desire.
Notable Quotes:
[11:27] - “Everything just falls into place when you prioritize spending time with God.”
[20:12] - “There's so much blessing in it if you will just listen to the leadership of your spouse.”
[22:56] - “When the Holy Spirit is just moving in your life so radically as a family, things just start to shift.”

We all have the opportunity to experience a deeper relationship with God when we choose to lead our lives according to the teachings of Jesus. But what does it mean to follow Christ wholeheartedly?
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, we talk about eliminating Jacob and becoming Israel. We discuss how you can stay committed and faithful to God through actions. Leading a committed Kingdom Flow lifestyle is no easy feat; however, with God as our guide, He will equip us every step of the way! Join Kyle and Ian in their conversation about leading a truly godly life.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[09:15] Choosing to Become Israel
It was not until God had changed his name from Jacob to Israel that he was no longer known as a deceiver. God’s redemptive power changes our brokenness for His glory instead of our gain. Like Jacob, we all have a defining moment in our lives where we must choose to step into our new identity in Christ or identify with our past life.
[17:35] Living Out Faith and Commitment
If we believe Jesus gives us freedom, why do some Christians continue to live in bondage and sin? You must be fully committed and submitted to the Lord to avoid falling back into the habits of Jacob. The will of God requires the activation of faith through action. God honors obedience.
[25:11] Gaining Clarity
Know the voice of God. Spend time in the Word to gain clarity. Without doing that, you will be gripped by anxiety and fear. That hinders you from a Kingdom Flow lifestyle. Remember to stay the course.
[36:15] Why You Should Live Like Israel
Living like Israel will not be easy. But living a life of chaos is harder. Choose to work hard and grow in specific areas of your life rather than allow for the chaos that comes later. Set yourself up for the future.
[40:41] Next Man Up
Sometimes, the smallest lapse of trust and faith will make you miss out on the life God has planned for you. God knows better, and He will always find new ways to speak to us. Do what you need to do to live with that decision every day.
[47:09] Our Bodies as Temples
Our bodies are temples. So treat your body like a temple and take care of it. Everywhere you go becomes holy because Jesus is holy, and He resides within you.
Notable Quotes:
[19:55] “A lot of times, the will of God requires an activation of faith.” [20:00]
[35:28] “We have the wisdom. And then if we don’t feel like we have the wisdom, we’ve got to take a pause and we’ve got to pray through that. Even the little bitty things.” [35:37]

The biggest enemy of Christians is chaos. It was what the world looked like before the Spirit of God took over, and it was what sin reduced the world to today. However, God is the one who establishes order, and He calls you to pursue it in every area of your life.
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, we will discuss what the Bible says about order and how it sustains us. We will specifically discuss what it looks like to have order in the home, especially in today’s world of many broken homes. Moreover, we will also provide some practical steps you can take to pursue Godly order in your lives.
Join Kyle and Ian as they delve into Scripture for insights on how to live life in God’s orderly design!
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[11:09] The Biblical Basis of Order
When God created the world, as stated at the beginning of the book of Genesis, it was first nothing but chaos. When the Spirit of God came, order was established. God designed order in His creation, and it’s what we’re called to accomplish.
[21:53] The Sustaining Power of Order
Many fathers, pastors, and political leaders fall not because of a failing in character but because of a lack of order. When there is no order, weariness comes easily. On the other hand, order brings sustaining power.
[32:16] What Order Looks Like in the Home
Everyone has a role to play in their home. God designed the husband/dad to be the leader of the home, so men need to step up to it. On the other hand, the wife/mom is called to submit to the husband and to guide their kids.
[41:36] On Loving Sacrificially
Order flows naturally from loving sacrificially. Christ is the restoration of order in the world because he loved the world sacrificially, and we are called to do the same.
[50:21] Living Out Order Practically
You cannot practically live in order if you do not have practical ways of pursuing God every day. You need to prioritize your relationship with God, and your other relationships will follow. You also need Godly people who will speak into your life and hold you accountable.
Notable Quotes:
[16:08] “The biggest enemy in our lives is chaos.” [16:13]
[26:09] “Decisions that we make every day have to be Kingdom-minded decisions.” [26:13]
[39:35] “It’s hard work to wake up every day and live your life intentionally.” [39:38]
[47:06] “Before we even have transformation, we have to polish our hearts to be a living sacrifice.” [47:11]

In this episode of Kingdom Flow, we’ll talk about going all-in in your life. Find out what it means to live an all-in life and how you can take first place in the things that truly matter. Join Kyle and Ian as they share their insights on how to live intentionally and thrive in different aspects of your life.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[03:50] Going All In
In the broader scale of life, you need to be consistently at the top of all the different aspects of your life to be successful. We need to place first in faith and family above all else. Godly accountability will help you figure out your weaknesses. Surround yourself with godly people who will help you go all in.
[22:40] Where to Place First
Life is a journey with no destination. Focus on progression, not perfection. It may be overwhelming when you think about all the different aspects of your life. Here are the two aspects you should focus on first:
Set aside time to pray every morning. That sets the tone for the entire day. You can offer God the first part of your day. Everything else will fall into place when you submit to His presence.
[43:14] How to Take Care of Your Health
Even simple physical activity could do wonders for your health. Just get your body moving. Food intake is also crucial. Eat clean and listen to your body. Avoid gluten. Try reading Superhuman by Dave Asprey.
[52:27] Live Intentionally
Don’t be afraid of work that never ends. We must keep progressing, growing, and living an intentional life. When you live intentionally, everything in your life will just click. Always be proactive.
Notable Quotes:
[10:01] “We have to be consistently at the top of all of these parts of our life to be able to be considered successful and well rounded.”
[26:02] “If we’re aligned with our vertical relationship with our Father, everything else seems to start falling in place.”

Grace is one of Jesus’ most beautiful gifts, and it’s easy to get comfortable with just receiving it. But Jesus also called us on a mission to impact other people’s lives by extending the grace we received to them.
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, Kyle Ewald continues to share his story of living on a mission to follow Christ, influencing people just as Christians before him influenced his life. But how do you actively listen to God’s calling every day? How do you become intentional in bringing the gospel to others? How do you live life on a mission?
Kyle talks about how you fall in love with God’s goodness as you seek to do what he tells you, and the ultimate mission of every Christian is to glorify Him, which is the fulfillment of our joy.
Tune in to this conversation and see how God reveals His goodness and glory in the life of a mission-driven Christian.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[02:55] The People Who Brought Jesus to Kyle
Before Kyle fully received Jesus, it took a couple of people faithfully serving him to show him what it’s like to live life on a mission of genuinely loving others for Christ. These people extended not judgment but grace, and their sincerity brought Kyle to realize the life he could have with Christ.
[14:47] Keeping the Christian Fire On
Being on the grace of Christ makes you realize that life is not about religion but a relationship with the Lord. Keeping the Christian fire fresh requires falling in love with Him every day by getting to know His character deeper and understanding His will. It is living life on a mission of glorifying Him.
[22:19] The Different Callings and Missions of a Christian
When you are radically saved, you can get frustrated when you see other Christians not share the passion you have for a mission field. However, God has different callings for every Christian, and not everyone has a similar mission field. You simply need to be faithful in what you are called to do, taking advantage of every opportunity.
[33:22 ] Crediting God in Every Area of Life
Living life on a mission can lead to the danger of crediting your work for the fruits you see when you should be crediting God and His power. Wherever God brings you – in your family, your career, your ministry – remember to be humble and to give God the glory always.
Notable Quotes:
[11:10] “Flee from religion, and fall in love with who Jesus is.”
[19:12] “A lot of people, God tells them a lot of stuff that they don’t act on, but when you actually act on it, your faith has no choice but to be encouraged.”
[19:31] “Actually doing the things of the Lord correlates directly into seeing how good He is.”
[28:05] “In today’s world, I look at it, and I had this mindset of, ‘You’re here for a reason’.”

In this episode of Kingdom Flow, Kyle Ewald joins us to share his journey from a dysfunctional childhood to a faithful follower. We all have a choice to make in difficult times: Will we trust God, even when things don’t make sense? Or will we give up on Him and try to figure out life on our own? Kyle lost his way for a while, but in the end, he chose to trust God—and that has led to possibilities that he could not have imagined before. His powerful story shows us that with God on our side, nothing is impossible.
Join us in this conversation to see how divine and beautiful God’s plans are. Let us hold onto His hand and walk through life together, knowing that no matter what comes our way, He will be with us always.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[07:54] Have Faith
When an “unqualified” person does amazing things, it brings glory to God. When you are anxious or stressed, you cannot be present. Even when things do not go according to your plan, stay faithful and trust in His plans for your life.
[15:17] A Difficult Past
Growing up, Kyle experienced a lot of dysfunctional patterns in his life. When his mother died from drugs, his youth pastor at the time—now his stepfather—takes him in. He started doing drugs and other dysfunctional behaviors. Then, he was recruited to become a banker.
[35:21] Knowing God
Kyle got to a point where he was making tons of money. But he felt empty. When he heard a song from a Rick Pino CD, he grabbed his Bible and came to know God. From there, he went down a radical path.
[30:41] The Mission in Guatemala
When he went to Guatemala, he was amazed by a blind lady who wanted a church to be built there. So Kyle raised $8,000 and filmed the church being built. God has brought Kyle’s life back full circle. He went through suffering but everything correlates beautifully.
Notable Quotes:
[07:00] “The fact of me owning a business and running a nonprofit and doing all this is wild, but God’s had His hand on it for sure.”
[11:48] “When you worry, when you have anxiety, you’re not there. You’re not present.”
[37:18] “It doesn’t matter how much I pour into my system to make myself happy. The sea is never full.”
[47:28] “Yes, I went through hell, I guess. Yes, I went through some horrible tragedy. I’ve seen things I probably shouldn’t have seen. But it’s beautiful to see how that all correlates.”

When you received Jesus Christ, you became one of God’s children. From that moment on, your life became centered on a newfound identity pushing you to live in worship every day. However, with the enemy so insistent on stealing that identity away from you, how do you maintain a worshipful standard of life to the Lord?
In this episode of Kingdom Flow, Kyle and Ian talk about what it looks like to truly step into your identity as a child of God. They also share many important insights on the necessity of being intentional in getting closer to God while establishing boundaries to detach from the temptations of the world. While there is no longer condemnation in failing, there is a yearning in every Christian to receive more of God’s glory always. Join them in this conversation about how you can live your life every day as a form of worship to the Lord.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[03:02] The Emptiness in a Performance-Driven Identity
It can be tempting in today’s society to live out an identity based on the roles you perform, but who are you beyond these? Even Christians struggle with a performance-driven identity, believing by mistake that their identity as Christians is based on how many people they baptized or invited to church. However, the Bible clearly articulates that your identity is in Christ.
[16:39] Stepping Into the Christian Identity
Jesus Christ is the son of God, and when you received Him, you also became one of God’s children. This means that the identity you need to live out is being His child, and when a child messes up or performs poorly, the father does not castigate him. Instead, he cleans up after the child’s mess and embraces him with loving arms anyway.
[22:00] The Standard of Intentionally in Seeking God
No longer from a desire to perform but from a yearning that a child has for a father, you are called to be intentional in seeking God in your everyday life. This means carving out time to pray and read the Bible, making sure to be present in church gatherings, and making intentional efforts every day to receive from God, so you could worship, and He would be glorified.
[30:41] Establishing Your Boundaries
In an intentional effort to live a life of worship, you need to establish boundaries. You cannot be in communion with God without separating yourself from the world. Keep watch of your relationships with the opposite sex or the types of content you consume every day.
Notable Quotes:
[19:19] “When we accept Christ, we’re not perfect, but He helps us clean our mess.”
[34:28] “The standard that God has, we can never reach that standard. The only person that reached that standard as a human was Jesus Christ.”
[40:53] “Boundaries make it easier to live in a standard. Boundaries make it easier to live with integrity. Boundaries make it easier to live with conviction. Boundaries make it easier, as our life is a worship song to the Lord.”
[44:54] “From identity builds character, and from character builds boundaries, and from that, our act of worship is truly, truly giving back.”
You can find God beyond the church’s walls. He’s in peace and silence. He’s with you and your family and with you in your business. God touches all aspects of your life and flows through you.

Kyle was able to achieve his goals in real estate. However, he continued to feel unfulfilled. Only when he listened to the Holy Spirit did he remember his faith. How do you bring your faith into business? How do you show love to people with different lifestyles? How do you lead your team with a servant's heart? These are the questions that business owners must answer to succeed in business and live in accordance with the Word.
In the Kingdom Flow Podcast, Kyle Jones, a husband, father, and follower of Jesus who founded TruePoint Capital, and Ian Sperry, an enthusiast on kingdom leadership and discipleship, share inspiring interviews on business, life, and faith.
Here are some power takeaways from today’s conversation:
Episode Highlights:
[01:58] The Best Way To Live Life
The best way to live your life according to the Kingdom Flow is to live by design and not by default. Living an intentional life builds a long-lasting relationship with God, who provides us with everything we need.
If you live your life by design as a Christian business owner, you set a good example to your team members. You capture their hearts and motivate them to improve their lives through faith.
[02:19] Combating Lukewarm Faith
Lukewarm faith is a great challenge for Christians in business, especially for people who grew up in the Church. If you have a lukewarm faith, you don't deny Jesus, but you don't live for him either.
Having a lukewarm faith is similar to running a business. The risk of people turning away is high. How do you counter it? You do so by leading your business and living your life in accordance with the Kingdom Flow.
[03:14] The Kingdom Flow
To be successful in business and life, you must lead and live through faith. But how do you do it? You formulate tactical methods to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
Living a life following the Kingdom Flow makes everything possible.
When you live by God's Spirit and focus your mind on it, you experience a level of peace and fullness that defies description. It can only be described as living life by the Spirit.
Notable Quotes:
“Kyle is passionate about helping others unlock the God given tools available to all while working diligently to live his own life with extreme intention.”
“In four short years, he was able to turn one underperforming location into now owning three highly profitable franchises while employing over 40 people across three locations.”
“How do we bring faith into our business in a time where there's also a huge risk of turning people away? How do we show love to people when we don't agree with their lifestyle choices? How do we remain the same person all the time? The same person we are at church, at home, at work, or even the grocery store?”
