We have been preaching for almost 5 years about the affects of PTSD and the growing epidemic we have regarding Veteran suicide. We have been saying post Covid that the real number is 35+ a day and people told us that we were wrong, crazy, just trying to tug on people's heart strings because it talks about Veterans. You bet your ass that we are trying to tug on heart strings. This is not water cooler conversation. Understandably it is a damn hard conversation to have, but if we don't keep having it and in a much bigger way then the problem is only going to get worse.
