The Wendigo is a mysterious creature, with plenty of Lore written about it.
A mythological creature or evil spirit originating from the folklore of the Algonquian Indians - a cannibalistic giant; a person who has been transformed into a monster by the consumption of human flesh.
Wendigo loosely translates to "evil that devours." They are compulsive man-eaters and are said to have breath-like burnt flesh. It has also become a stock horror character much like the vampire, werewolf, or zombie, although these fictional depictions often do not bear much resemblance to the original mythology.
Wendigo Psychosis has also become the basis of many stories of people who have turned to cannibalism.

“La Llorona” literally means “the weeping woman,” so it’s not surprising that the main characteristic shared by all stories of “La Llorona” is that she weeps. Many stories are told of what she looks like and what she does, and even more, are told of how she came to be such a doleful spirit.
In Latin America, and especially in Mexico, no ghost story is told as often or discussed as enthusiastically, and as widely interpreted as the legend of La Llorona.

In the early morning hours of the 8th of November 1988, the yacht Patanela radioed Sydney Maritime Radio Centre advising that it was 10 nautical miles east of Botany Bay and apparently out of fuel, and might require assistance through Sydney Heads. Two more calls were made before The Patanela was never heard from again.
The disappearance of the Patanela is still considered one of Australia's greatest sea mysteries since it vanished without a trace.
