Society as a whole is ever evolving, and as a business owner you either try to keep up, or get left behind. I have always been a “Think outside of the box” type of person. One of the things I have been noticing over the last several months is the rapidly increasing popularity of podcasts. As I began studying the trend and what is behind it, I learned people are tired of traditional news cycles. Information was once reported in a way where both sides were presented, and the listener decided which way they wanted to align themselves.
Fast forward to current day, and things have changed a lot. In 1983, 90% of US media was controlled by 50 companies; as of 2011, 90% was controlled by just 6 companies and in 2017 the number was 5.
People are starving for a different perspective on current topics, where they can judge for themselves what to believe.
So, I decided to use my voice, and intellect to discuss current topics. Being a disabled veteran, and retired police officer I can offer a different perspective.
Join my group today and stay informed.
