On episode #15 (@yngblkinvestor) Jerome & co-host Sophy Young talk about their journey to invest $100k into the crypto and stock market in 2021. Although we fell short of our goal it was encouraging to be so close to investing close to 6 figures in one year during a pandemic. We touch on the "3 M's of Money: Make it, Manage it, and Multiply it" on this episode with strategies that we used to invest a lot of money in 12 months. This was a great challenge to put our minds together and plan strategically monthly to achieve this goal. It's essential to talk about finances with your spouse and it's like hitting the lottery when you share the same money language.
On episode #14 of The Marathon Blueprint Podcast features Dean Chambers 1/2 of "Checks over Strikes". Dean and his partner Craig Brown help millennial entrepreneurs manage their money so they can clean up their finances and secure their financial future.
In our hour long conversation we talked about their book "Don't be a waste yute", teaching our children about money as early as possible, the importance of having multiple streams of income, top stock's and crypto's to invest in.

My guest for Episode #2 is Shane Vassell, owner of Chief Tek Inc.
Shane's story is one that I truly admire. He started as a technician in 2004 and has climbed his way to the top. Leaving the city of Toronto in 2010 to pursue an opportunity in Northern Alberta, it was a gamble that continues to pay off until this day. Shane is a prime sub-contractor to one of Canada's biggest construction/utility companies and performs work on their behalf for two of our country's biggest telecommunication providers.
Shane has employed family and friends over the last decade, giving them an opportunity to learn the trade and earn a lucrative salary. Sacrifice, dedication and the seizing of opportunity has ultimately allowed him and those close to him to prosper financially. This humble entrepreneur understands (and teaches us) that you can go far by including others and putting trust in those around you.
In this can episode we discuss his journey, reinvesting money back into his company, opportunities outside of Toronto, and his determination to succeed.
