How am I supposed to clear my mind?

How can I feel happy and worry-free?

How can I get rid of stress?

Is all this even possible, or just a dream?

The truth is, it is impossible to clear your mind totally, our mind is always active.

It is impossible to feel happy and worry-free all the time, we are meant to have different emotions.
It is impossible to get rid of stress, it's a natural response from our body.

There is good news, though.

Even though we cannot achieve the impossible, we can change the way we look at things.
We can change the way we handle negative stress, repeating thoughts and difficult emotions.

Us humans are experts in overthinking and overcomplicating. But when it comes to the most complicated things, it’s better to keep it simple.

In this episode, Anaïs discusses the dream of experiencing peace of mind. Is it even possible? Are our dreams realistic? How can we get closer to reaching a state of peace of mind, of pure happiness?

How can we show ourselves compassion during difficult times?

In this episode, Anaïs shares the three components of self-compassion based on MBSR, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

  1. Mindfulness vs over-identification

Mindfulness is about observing your thoughts, feelings and emotions as they are, without judging them and identifying with them.

  1. Kindness vs self-judgment

Being warm and loving to ourselves, not matter what difficulty we are facing. You want to comfort yourself and help yourself to do whatever you can to make yourself feel better in that moment.

  1. Common humanity vs isolation

When things go wrong, we feel really cut off from others. While in fact, this is what makes us human. In fact, being human means being imperfect. Life goes wrong sometimes.
