I’ve been seeing a lot more people participating in the 75 hard challenge recently and I want to give my honest opinion that it is not helpful and can have a negative impact on your relationship to food and your body. The requirements are not sustainable and many people find themselves restarting the program over and over again because the expectations are not realistic. Hmmm sounds like most diet programs if you ask me. My goal is to help you see the disordered behaviors that come from challenges like these. It can be so hard to see, so I hope that this episode brings some awareness for you because I don’t want to see you struggle with your relationship to food and your body. I hope you enjoy!

In this episode, I talk about why weight loss will not heal your body image and what actually will. A lot of people turn to weight loss when they’re having negative thoughts about their body, and while it may bring you happiness, confidence, and satisfaction at first, it doesn’t last long term and keeps you stuck in a dieting cycle. I promise you it doesn’t have to be this way! Although my method may take longer, it’s sustainable and will give you a life long healthy relationship with your body. I hope you enjoy it!

Does this sound familiar? You’re so “good” all day and then you find yourself binge eating at night. You’re left feeling tons of guilt, shame, and physically uncomfortable. You’ve been told that you just lack willpower and need more discipline. You’ve been told that your next best step would probably be to “get back on track” or just maybe eat less the next day. I’m here to tell you that it has NOTHING to do with willpower or discipline and those strategies do NOT work sustainably. Think about it, if they did, you wouldn’t still be binge eating at night. In this episode I talk about what may be causing binge eating at night and what you can do that will actually sustainably help. I hope you enjoy!

How often do you go outside of yourself to feel accepted and loved? So often, we go outside for someone or something to tell us what to do, who to feel, and who to be.
