At Christmastime I want hope. I want to know all is right with the world and that some Grinch isn't trying to ruin this Christmas and every Christmas to come. That's why looking at this election and not giving up on seeing it through is so important no matter who's side you are on. Because elections MATTER. Cheating and stealing elections MATTERS because if we don't do something now, the precedence it sets for all future elections should concern not only every American, but people all over the world who see America as that shining city on a hill where freedom and right give THEM hope.

So in this episode I boil down for you the details of the Trump case and explain why some things are the way they are and why it's not over yet.

Why do people keep saying that Trump has lost 50 or 60 court cases?
Have the courts really even looked at the evidence?
Were there really specific issues in vote counting centers?
Why do these state legislatures keep meeting in conference centers?
How does the Supreme Court not hearing the Texas case change the outcome?
What is the strategy now and how has it changed?

In today's episode, I talk to improv performer Charlie Alegria about how different actions are affecting the day to day lives of performers and theaters here in California. We actually recorded this before the election and so some of it might be a little out of date, but there's some great info throughout.

I read through the two statements from the two Board of Canvassers Commissioners explaining how they were more or less railroaded into agreeing to certify the election results in their county in the Detroit area.

Do we live in some kangaroo court third world country now? This all flies in the face of democracy and fair elections. Listen to hear how and why.

Paul’s Recommendations, My TL;DR Summary
Prop 14
- This is a big fat NO. This one is so wasteful it’s gross. Why hand $5.5 BILLION to some group for their pet building project when we can fund research directly? Government waste at its absolute worst.
Prop 15 - Absolutely No. “The problem isn’t funding for schools. The problem is allocating for schools.”
Prop 16 - No
Prop 17 - No. Criminals already get voting restored after three years if they do not return to crime.
Prop 18 - No
Prop 19 - No
Prop 20 - Yes. Violent crimes and felonies need to be defined as such.
Prop 21 - No
Prop 22 - We did not agree on this one. Paul recommended a NO so that big businesses remain on the hook to repeal AB5 entirely. I feel that this approach is futile considering the egos and agendas in Sacramento and recommend a YES vote to send a message to legislators that voters are disgusted with AB5 and get them to relent on the out-of-control governmental overreach we have been seeing lately.
Prop 23 - No. Dialysis is an extremely routine medical procedure. This is just not necessary.
Prop 24 - No. The potential for misuse and abuse of this far reaching law (DNA? Seriously??) is chilling.
Prop 25 - Just No. The algorithm is a secret, and prone to errors and political manipulation. Another chilling one.
