Welcome to MEDITATION SPACE. Meditation focuses the mind and eliminates distractions to improve clarity, calm, and awareness. Mindfulness, stress reduction, and inner serenity are commonly achieved through it. Meditation has been practised for millennia in Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Jainism.
Each meditation method has its own goals and practises.
Some of the meditations we will practice include:
Mindfulness Meditation: Focusing on the present, including thoughts, feelings, and emotions, without judgement. It involves monitoring your experience without judgement or reaction.
Transcendental Meditation (TM): To calm and still, TM practitioners chant a mantra silently.
Loving-kindness Meditation: Metta meditation promotes self-compassion and love.
Zen Meditation (Zazen): Based on Zen Buddhism, this practise entails sitting in a certain position and meditating on the breath or a koan to understand reality.
Vipassana Meditation: Theravada Buddhists use physiological sensations and ideas to understand reality's impermanence and selflessness.
Guided Meditation: A recorded or live guide takes the practitioner through visualisation or relaxation exercises.
Regular meditation can enhance stress, focus, emotional management, self-awareness, and well-being. Meditation has been demonstrated to improve brain structure and function, as well as blood pressure and heart rate.
All ages and backgrounds can meditate, regardless of religion or spirituality. Meditation can be beneficial for many people, but it may not be right for everyone and may be difficult at first. Explore numerous meditation methods to find the one that works for you if you want to start.
MEDITATION SPACE offers meditation practice to seek FULFILMENT everyday.
PATIENCE & ENDURANCE MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE
Welcome to Meditation Space a weekly podcast offering subscribers a free place to practice meditation and mindfulness.
Patience and endurance are important qualities that contribute to personal growth, success, and well-being. Here's why they are important and how meditation can help cultivate them:
Importance of Patience:
Resilience: Patience allows you to remain calm and composed in the face of challenges, setbacks, and obstacles. It helps you bounce back from disappointments and continue working towards your goals.
Better Decision-Making: Patient individuals are less likely to make hasty decisions driven by emotions. They take the time to gather information, consider options, and make well-thought-out choices.
Improved Relationships: Patience fosters understanding and empathy in relationships. It helps you give others the space and time they need, leading to healthier and more harmonious interactions.
Skill Development: Learning new skills and mastering complex tasks takes time. Patience enables you to stick with the learning process and persevere even when progress seems slow.
Importance of Endurance:
Achievement of Goals: Many worthwhile goals require sustained effort over an extended period. Endurance ensures that you keep working towards your objectives even when the initial excitement fades.
Character Building: Endurance builds resilience, discipline, and determination. It teaches you to stay committed and focused on your goals despite difficulties.
Growth and Improvement: Enduring through challenges provides opportunities for growth and improvement. It pushes you out of your comfort zone and helps you develop new skills and perspectives.
Long-Term Success: Endurance is often a key factor in achieving long-term success. Many successful people attribute their achievements to their ability to persevere through tough times.
Meditation and Cultivating Patience and Endurance:
Meditation is a powerful tool for developing patience and endurance. Here's how it can help:
Mindfulness: Meditation, especially mindfulness meditation, trains you to be present in the moment without reacting impulsively.
Stress Reduction: Meditation reduces stress and anxiety, which can contribute to impatience and frustration.
Delayed Gratification: Meditation enhances your ability to delay gratification.
Focus and Concentration: Meditation improves your ability to focus and concentrate. This skill is crucial for enduring through tasks that require sustained attention and effort.
Emotional Regulation: Meditation helps you regulate your emotions, reducing impulsive reactions. This is essential for maintaining patience in challenging situations.
Mindset Shift: Regular meditation can lead to a shift in perspective, helping you recognise the impermanent nature of challenges and setbacks. This understanding can foster patience and a more balanced approach to difficulties.
Incorporating meditation into your routine can help you develop these qualities over time. Consistency is key, as the benefits of meditation tend to accumulate with practice.

SURRENDER MEDITATION - MEDITATION. SPACE
Welcome to Meditation Space a weekly podcast offering is listeners a lace to practice.
The term "surrender meditation" can be used to describe many meditative practises in which the practitioner focuses on releasing their hold on the situation and any expectations they may have about the results. Giving up control of your mind, heart, and will during meditation is essential.
The goal of this technique is to stop trying to control your thoughts and feelings during meditation. Instead, you refrain from judging or suppressing your internal experiences as they occur. The result can be profound calm, contentment, and awareness of the present moment.
Principles from mindfulness and various spiritual traditions are frequently included into surrender meditation. It urges you to let go of any need to alter or control your surroundings and instead give your full attention to the here and now, your breathing, or whatever object of concentration you choose.
People who have problems with stress, worry, or excessive thinking may benefit greatly from this style of meditation. Achieving inner calm and focus requires letting go of the control one feels compelled to maintain over one's thoughts and experiences.
Remember that there are various types of meditation, and that the term "surrender meditation" may have multiple meanings and applications depending on the author or instructor. It's crucial to try out several meditation techniques until you find one that suits your personality and helps you achieve your goals.

I AM PRESENT - MEDITATION SPACE
Welcome to the Meditation Space .
Becoming present for meditation involves cultivating mindfulness and awareness in the present moment. Here are some steps to help you achieve a state of presence during meditation:
Create a suitable environment: Choose a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without distractions. Ensure the room temperature is comfortable, and consider using cushions or a meditation stool for support.
Set a time for meditation: Establish a regular meditation schedule, ideally practicing at the same time each day. This helps your mind and body prepare for the practice and establishes a routine.
Adopt a comfortable posture: Find a posture that works for you, whether it's sitting cross-legged on the floor, using a chair, or lying down. The key is to maintain a position that promotes alertness without discomfort.
Focus on your breath: Use your breath as an anchor to the present moment. Pay attention to the sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves your body. If your mind starts to wander, gently bring your focus back to your breath.
Observe your thoughts: As you meditate, thoughts will arise. Rather than getting caught up in them or judging yourself, simply observe them without attachment. Let them pass like clouds in the sky, gently redirecting your attention to your breath or chosen point of focus.
Engage your senses: Tune into your senses during meditation. Notice the feeling of your body on the cushion or chair, the sounds around you, the temperature of the room, and any other sensations you experience.
Use guided meditation: If you're finding it challenging to stay present, consider using guided meditation. Many apps and online resources offer guided sessions that can help you stay focused and grounded.
Be patient with yourself: Remember that meditation is a skill that takes time and practice to develop. Be patient with yourself, and don't judge your meditation experiences as "good" or "bad." Each session is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Start with short sessions: If you're new to meditation, begin with short sessions, such as 5-10 minutes, and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable with the practice.
Practice regularly: Consistency is key. Regular meditation practice will strengthen your ability to be present and cultivate mindfulness in your everyday life.
Remember that meditation is a journey, and it's normal to have moments of distraction or restlessness. The goal is not to eliminate thoughts but to become more aware of them and cultivate a greater sense of presence and mindfulness in your life.

COUNTING MEDITATATION - MEDITATION SPACE - SEEKING EUDAIMONIA PODCAST
So what is the counting meditation?
It’s exactly what it sounds like. You sit down, relax, close your eyes, and quietly count to 100 in your head.
Yep, that’s it. I know. You may be asking, “Did you really need all this meditation training just to count to 100? And what’s so special about counting? Haven’t you been doing that your whole life? It never turned you into the Buddha before. Why should it now?”
Listen, it really works. I’m not kidding at all.
Here’s how you do it.
Again, sit down, be still, relax, and silently start counting to 100. Don’t rush. Just go at a natural pace and keep letting yourself relax while sitting still with your spine straight.
So, what’s happening when you do this? You are focusing your mind. Don’t underestimate the power of a practice like this to hone your attention. As you count to 100, your mind will wander. That’s totally natural. You just want to bring it back to the counting. It will drift again and you should bring your attention back again to the count.
When you do this counting exercise with real intention, your mind naturally starts to align with the counting. As you focus, your attention withdraws from the addictive stream of thought, conclusions, and opinions that your mind is usually fixed on.
By slowly bringing your mind back to the count, again and again, you start to train your awareness. That is the power of this practice.

RIBBONS OF HEALING MEDITATIONS - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
Meditation isn’t always about emptying the mind and focusing on the breath alone. This form of meditation is generally known as passive meditation.
While it is a good idea to train oneself in passive meditation to experience more control and deeper relaxation, it is only one form in a basket full of meditative practices.
Through millions of years of evolution, the body knows how to heal itself. We just have to learn how to get out of its way. Reducing unnecessary psychological distress by balancing stress levels helps the body perform optimally. Meditation is a tool we can use to do this.
During and after meditation, the body stops producing the ‘stress’ chemicals associated with the sympathetic nervous system’s fight or flight response. Negative thinking is also reduced, which can trigger the stress response and the further release of stress chemicals in the body, since negative thoughts are perceived threats. It is like we are signalling to the body and mind that it is safe, and we can calm down.
One of the easiest ways to relax and reduce stress is to simply start observing your breath. This can be done in almost any situation and any position – whether sitting, standing, lying down or walking. Bringing attention to your breath has an immediate calming effect on both your body and your mind as it cuts the negative feedback loop caused by stress. This is where unpleasant reactions to negative thoughts cause the release of stress chemicals in the body, which leads to further negative thoughts about the actual severity of the situation (and even vice-versa).
Mindfulness is the practice of observing the reality of the present moment with an accepting an non-judgmental attitude. It is practiced in the same way as breathing meditation, however with expanded awareness of all objects of consciousness – including feeling, sight, hearing, taste, smell and even thoughts.
Meditation is a practise that can really make your life better. A practise that changes and improves your life in ways you might not expect.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

KINDNESS MEDITATIONS - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
Kindness is all the different ways — both big and small — we express care, concern, and consideration for ourselves and those with whom we share the world.
Kindness shows up as a supportive smile, a comforting embrace, and a helping hand when we need it the most — but may expect it the least.
It exists as heartfelt words of encouragement, thoughtful gestures of affection, and compassionate acts of generosity so many of us witness, perform, and receive as we move through life.
In a world filled with struggle and pain, kindness is like a deep cleansing breath that rejuvenates us with its purity, refreshes us with its goodness, and gives us the strength to persevere despite our troubles.
Being kind shouldn’t be reserved only for others. You need to be kind to yourself too because you, like everyone else, deserve kindness too.
Treat yourself as you would anyone else. Avoid criticizing or putting yourself down. Instead, offer yourself kind words every day. Steer clear of people who are stressing you out and stick with those that inspire you. After all, you can’t give what you don’t have. The same is true with kindness. You can’t be truly kind to others if you can’t even be kind to yourself.

KARMA MEDITATIONS - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
Karma is something that’s often totally misunderstood. When most people hear the word karma, they associate it with the idea of fate: “It’s your karma. There’s nothing you can do about it.” But the true sense of karma is exactly the opposite. Karma can change. If we want to improve our lives and the situations of everyone around us, we need to understand how karma works.
The word karma simply means action. It has to do with cause and effect—the law of karma is actually very scientific. In the physical world, it’s easy to understand: you put your finger on the hot stove, it immediately hurts, right? In the world of the mind, karma works exactly the same way. It’s the same kind of cause and effect, but because it’s less tangible, it’s harder to understand. There is also a time delay for mental effects to ripen in our mindstream.
Everything is interrelated in terms of these movements of cause and effect: what we put into our mind has a huge effect—on what? On everything. It’s like food. We all know that if you put bad food in your body, you don’t feel good. Similarly, if you entertain negative thoughts, you don’t feel good. But good food and good thoughts are a different story and lead to a different

ME, MYSELF MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
This distinction was originally based on the idea that the former (“Me”) corresponds to the self as an object of experience (self as object), while the latter (“I”) reflects the self as a subject of experience (self as subject)
An example of this would be, “I am aware that I am wearing a shirt.” On another level, you have substantial self-knowledge. This refers to your deeper feelings, emotions, and values. For example, “I value loyalty in other people.”
Self-knowledge is essential for personal growth, decision making, and accurate self-assessment. It is the opposite of ignorance and helps us make sense of our experiences. Importantly, self-knowledge is an essential tool to help in the change process. Change is hard.
Getting to know yourself means you have to dive into the depths of your soul, in an honest and accepting way. It is about learning from your past experiences, letting them go through forgiving yourself and others, acceptance of your weaknesses and then learning how to love all of it.
Meditation is a practise that can really make your life better. A practise that changes and improves your life in ways you might not expect.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

SELF CONTROL MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
To understand the link between meditation and self-control, we need to know how willpower works in the brain.
When we exercise any kind of self-control, we always use the same part of the brain. The area is called the ventrolateral prefrontal cortex of the right side.
Feelings are an important part of our lives, and we often pay more attention to them than to our thoughts. When someone dies, it's hard to understand, and we often lose ourselves in deep sadness as we imagine that we won't ever see the person again.
We know deep down that this is also our fate and that this is just the way life is. But sometimes grief gets the best of us, and people die from it if they were close to the person who died and can't let go.
The same is true for things like anger and worry.
When it comes to temper, we know that it can lead to regret and that things that make us anxious will be solved in the end, but we can't always control our feelings to make them match what we know.
Meditation is helpful in this situation because it helps us keep our feelings in check and puts our minds above our feelings. And this makes it easier to deal with sadness, worry, anger, and all the other emotions that make our lives hard.
People who meditate often are better able to keep themselves in check than people who don't.
Even though I don't have full self-control in all of these areas, I have a good handle on most of them. I was able to make these changes by meditating often, working hard every day, and being disciplined.
Meditation does help you a lot with self-control, but you also need to change a few things about yourself to make a complete change.
Meditation is a practise that can really make your life better. A practise that changes and improves your life in ways you might not expect.

SEASONAL MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that’s triggered by a change in seasons, usually when fall starts. This seasonal depression gets worse in the late fall or early winter before ending in the sunnier days of spring.
You can also get a mild version of SAD known as the “winter blues.” It’s normal to feel a little down during colder months. You may be stuck inside, and it gets dark early.
But full SAD goes beyond this. It’s a form of depression. Unlike the winter blues, SAD affects your daily life, including how you feel and think. Fortunately, treatment can help you get through this challenging time.
Seasonal affective disorder is also called seasonal depression.

NIGHT SKY MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
When I become bored of staying in my room and find nothing to do, I go to my balcony and look at the sky. Most of the time I look at the sky in the evening. When the sun starts to go down. And when I look at sky, I feel a sense of purity, serenity. The wide sky and the breeze reach deep inside of me and make me feel happy. The feeling is really breathtaking. The wideness of the sky, the serenity reaches into my heart. The evening sky has different colours each day. Most of the time it is sky blue, and the blue clouds. Sometimes it becomes yellow. Sometimes pink, red, or purple. Sometimes gray. It also has a spiritual effect. The beautiful sky reminds me of the Creator. I wish I could hold on to that time forever.
When I become so depressed and nothing seems to be able to heal me, I look at the sky. And after a while, my pains go away. My mind becomes light and fresh. I look at the sky and think about my problems, without telling a single word. The sky seems to be like my friend, who is always there for me silently. It works as healing for me. And it helps me to think that everything will be alright and I can start again. In this world where nothing is eternal, sky is something that will remain till the end of the world. So when no one is by my side, I look at the sky.
When I become so restless with my problems, I look at the night sky. The nightscape. The largeness of the sky does something in my mind. I try to inhale the beauty and exhale my pains and worries. And then my restlessness decreases. Sometimes I see a full moon with all its beauty. Sometimes I see stars, but that is rare because of the city lights.
When I go to my balcony to look at the sky, usually I take no one with me. That's another thing. As an introvert, I enjoy alone time. And in that time, it feels even more comfortable. Only me and the sky. I love thinking a lot of things looking at the sky. I think about myself. I think about my dreams or someone. I think about the Almighty. I enjoy my own company. My heartbeat.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

SIMPLICITY MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
Happiness is not dependent on external circumstances; rather, it is to be found in the simpler joys of life, and most of all in the ever new bliss of deep meditation.
Be happy by clinging to the simple, true, and lasting soul-joys. They come by deep thinking, introspection, spiritual inspiration, and meditation.
Modern life is becoming very unsatisfactory. It does not give you happiness. There are too many things, too many desires. More nice cars and dresses and entertainments — and more worries! Free yourself from these so-called “necessities” and spend more time with God. Make your life simple. Be happy in and by your Self.
The pleasure of modern man is in getting more and more, and what happens to anyone else doesn’t matter. But isn’t it better to live simply — without so many luxuries and with fewer worries? There is no pleasure in driving yourself until you cannot enjoy what you have….The time will come when mankind will begin to get away from the consciousness of needing so many material things. More security and peace will be found in the simple life.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

AFFIRMATIONS MEDITTION - Metitation Space - Joe-y Busuttil
An affirmation is usually a sentence, a sentence of powerful words put together, like a positive statement, and this sentence is aimed to tap into your conscious and unconscious mind to motivate you, to challenge you, to push you to reach your full potential in life.
We all have negative and unhealthy thoughts about ourselves and how we live our lives at times, which is completely normal, affirmations when spoken or chanted to ourselves have the power to change the way think and act in our lives in a positive way, they can change our emotions, alter our behaviours and reassess our beliefs.
The benefits of Affirmations are endless, they have helped a multitude of people all over the world achieve great things, but more importantly, they can help you make positive changes in your life.
Affirmations have the power to motivate you to act on certain things, help you to concentrate on achieving your goals in life, give you the power to change your negative thinking patterns and replace them with positive thinking patterns, assist you in accessing a new belief system, but above all, affirmations can reaffirm the positivity back into your life and help regain or increase your self-confidence.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.
Enjoy this practice.

Loneliness is a debilitating psychological condition. It is characterized by a deep sense of emptiness, worthlessness, lack of control, and personal threat. Physical isolation can contribute to feelings of loneliness, but people can also be lonely in a marriage, in a family, in a crowd.
Sometimes, we choose solitude.
We may need time to ourselves or have projects best completed away from others. We may also, paradoxically, prefer solitude because our connection to others, in our own minds, at least, is better when we are alone. It is difficult, for instance, to imagine a poet writing a love poem in the presence of the beloved. Physical separation may distill affection to its essence, its purest form.
More importantly, there is a kind of freedom in solitude that we rarely if ever experience in the company of other people. The presence of another is a limit on freedom. Nietzsche wrote that some people steal our solitude without offering us company. There is truth to that. Whether foregoing solitude is a good idea depends on what we get in return. Exchanging freedom for deep human connection is generally worth it. Trading it for superficial communication may be worth it only for people with a particular temperament.
It is not only superficial communication that may be less desirable than solitude. Relationships that involve hostility and little closeness may be so as well. We are lonelier with some people than we would be by ourselves. Those who choose to be alone regularly, and who sometimes get branded “loners,” are likely people who are acutely aware of the costs in freedom that the company of another imposes, as well as of the uncertainty of the reward.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

SEEKING INNER TRUTH MEDITATION - MEDITATION SPACE - Joe-y Busuttil
Intuitive guidance comes to us in many ways, but the best way is through strengthening our ability to receive answers during meditation. Developing perfect intuitive guidance is like strengthening a muscle. It takes time and it takes constant practice. But it definitely is possible.
A short guided meditation for connecting to your own inner wisdom. Using breath work, you will be guided to connect with your heart and throat chakra, and find the insight needed to guide you through the day. Chakras. Intuition.
What happens when you reach your higher self?
You'll be able to more fully connect with another human being and learn in the process. When you come to others with your higher self, their higher self will emerge. It allows you to look within yourself for answers and trust what emerges.”
What does my higher self look like?
Essentially, your higher self is the 'intuitive self' that always wants the best for you in every situation. It's like the supportive, unconditionally loving mum on the sidelines of the football match, shaking pom poms and believing in you, even when you score a goal for the wrong team - she is still cheering.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

SELF MEDITATION - Meditation Space - Joe-y Busuttil
What is a Recognition? It is a standardised hypnotic suggestion that you give yourself. They come in a short form, long form, and ultimate form. Follow the suggestions i pass onto you during the recording.
An Echo is anything that comes from inside of you, particularly ANY thoughts, feelings (emotions), sensations, memories or pictures. Just let the Echo come. Do not consciously desire or cause an Echo. Just let it happen, and then say the Recognition again.
If you are resting with your eyes closed, you are in a safe and comfortable position and saying the Recognition silently to yourself and waiting for the Echo, then you are doing it perfectly (no matter what Echoes or experiences occur)
The universe renews my life
Physically
Mentally
Emotionally
The universe made me always loveable
The universe knows there is nothing wrong with me
As the universe forgives, I forgive
The universe gave me freewill, and the power to create
I co-create my life with the universe
The universe made me student and teacher
I see the Universe in everyone and everything
Thank you universe for my life
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.

AWARENESS MEDITATION - Meditation Space - Joe-y Busuttil
While every form of meditation requires awareness, awareness meditation refers to a specific method that is also referred to as insight meditation. Calling upon the qualities of presence developed through mindfulness practice, awareness meditation is an active investigation into the nature of mind and how it functions.
In open awareness, instead of concentrating on something, your attention is open and remains aware of everything that is happening. Instead of getting caught up in thoughts or feelings, during this type of meditation you just need to be present with whatever is happening.
The practice of mindfulness naturally gives the mind space to discover itself: this is true self-awareness. Mindfulness meditation also shows you clearly that not every emotion or thought is worth reacting to. It helps you prioritize and use your energy and time wisely and efficiently.
One way to become more aware of your thoughts is to observe your stream of consciousness as you think about a stressful situation. Do not suppress any thoughts: instead, just let them run their course while you watch them, and write them down on our free worksheet as they occur.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.
Enjoy this session.

KINDNESS & FORGIVENESS MEDITATION - Meditation Space - Joe-y Busuttil
KINDNESS & FRGIVENESS -
When you learn to forgive yourself, and others, there's one universal outcome I believe will come your way: you'll have a better life. Less stress, less worry, more love, more compassion, and so many other wonderful emotions, feelings, and experiences. That's why it's an act of kindness towards yourself.
To forgive, we must be ready to let go of our anger and resentment toward someone or something. However, the meaning of forgiveness that I prefer is simply “letting go.” The act of compassion is the desire to alleviate the suffering of others.
Trusting yourself to ask for forgiveness in a way that feels right for you, without getting lost in the content of the story of whatever may have happened. Take your time, Repeat a few times at your own pace, may I be forgiven. When you are ready, letting go of the images or thoughts. Noticing how you are feeling.
Loving-kindness meditation (sometimes called “metta” meditation) is a great way to cultivate our propensity for kindness. It involves mentally sending goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others by silently repeating a series of mantras.
So we need to do the right things and set up the right conditions if we’re going to change. Let your self relax and let go.
Enjoy this session.

On the SEVENTH episode of the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcastwe connect with NICOLETA POROJANU.
*Hi, I’m Nicoleta! I was born into a family dominated by transgenerational trauma, abuse and addiction. And I chose to be the one that awakens, the one that starts healing the hurt and opens to happiness. I chose to do the inner work and I started my journey of real personal development.
Throughout the 2 decades I spent in the world of psychology and therapy and thousands of hours of clinical and research practice I remained committed to my own personal transformation journey and I guided many others turn their traumatic past into connection, happiness and fulfilment.
One of my greatest lessons taught me that challenges show up in our lives for a reason. They come to teach us something.
Often we waste our valuable time trying to resist them, to deny their existence or to pretend they are not important. That does not make them go away though!
I struggled in life a lot, probably like you did, and my studies and training did not help much. I remember starting my career feeling completely helpless in my role as a clinical psychologist in a palliative care hospital, working with the dying and their many regrets, unfulfilled dreams and ruptured relationships left behind.
Time passed and despite my clinical work, personal therapy and ongoing training in psychotherapy and counselling, I was still sore inside when I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in my mid 40s. What saved me was a profound spiritual awakening I had from the bed of an A&E department in a London hospital when I nearly died from a chest infection two months into my chemotherapy treatment.
Building on that presence and conscious awareness I learned to surrender, to turn within and heal, and that finally started my real transformation process. Empowerd by my new mantra “I have the choice” I learned to live a more mindful life and I found the inner peace I’ve been searching for.
When I reflect on my life journey these days I can see that everything I experienced in my private, social and professional life was meant to happen to bring me where I am today. My traumatic childhood, my relationship struggles, my illness, my perfectionism and workaholism have all brought me precious teachings and have informed my work and career all along.
I lived for the most part of my life blinded by my mental programming! Not anymore! I have now learned my lessons! I have found mental clarity! I regained my freedom! I liberated myself!
THESE DAYS I FIND GREAT PURPOSE IN HELPING HAPPINESS SEEKERS “LIBERATE” THEMSELVES TOO.
My programmes create a bridge between psychology, anthropology, epigenetics, quantum physics, logotherapy, transpersonal psychology and eastern spirituality traditions and are designed to guide you escape your tunnel mind and step out of your pain so you can open to joy and happiness and the infinite possibilities life has to offer you.

On the THIRD interview of Season THREE on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast I get to Interview Heather Richards, who married her partner Cas Willow in 2017, becoming Australia's very first LGBTQI legally wed couples.
Melbourne couple Cas Willow and Heather Richards have been waiting years for same-sex marriage to become legal in Australia and having tied the knot, feel stronger as they face more challenges.
The women, together for almost two decades, wed on Monday during an emotional ceremony at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where Mrs Willow is receiving treatment for breast cancer that has spread to her brain.
"Just because time is not on our side, it's just a dream come true," she said of the wedding.
Her health outlook meant the pair, who are among the first same-sex couples to wed in Australia, were allowed to waive the mandatory four-week intention-to-marry period after laws passed federal parliament.
After Cas passed away Heather volunteered at Peter Mac Cancer Centre, continuing her passion to help others.
Heather joined CaS Therapy as a therapist in 2011 and is known for her ability to connect and for her gentle nature which flows through, and empowers her clients. Heather has a unique ability to effectively communicate and assist others who are ready, willing and committed to change the issues that are impacting on their lives so as they can live in and look forward to a positive outcome now and in the future.

On the LAST interview of Season TWO on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to CHARLIE RANDELL.
A life filled with FULFILMENT.
WHAT DOES NQPC STAND FOR?
Not Quite Politically Correct
WHO IS BEHIND NQPC?
I’m Charlie Randell- a young wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy. I work in digital marketing, whilst running a YouTube channel which focuses on disabled lifestyle and fitness. My girlfriend - Gina Twelftree helps me
to run and promote my YouTube channel, whilst also running this blog. Gina writes the blogs from our ideas and experiences. She is basically my glamorous assistant.
WHY DID YOU START NQPC?
I made the decision to start my own YouTube channel in 2017,
I had wanted to for sometime but had been quite nervous
of how successful or - more accurately - how unsuccessful
I would be. After encouragement from my friends I started
making regular fitness, diet and lifestyle vlogs, which have
slowly built up an audience. I met Gina in August 2017 and,
both being ambitious, we came up with idea to include more
videos on what it’s like to be a disabled person. We soon
came up with the idea of making blogs with disabled access
reviews and top tips to further expand our platform and
audience, in the hope we could start to make a change
in the disabled community. So that’s why we’re here - we
want to try and make a difference in the community by
helping companies understand what is needed for disabled
access, improving their awareness and encouraging them to
include more information on their websites for
customers requiring disabled access.

From producing films starring A-list actors like Forrest Whitaker, to touring Spain and South Africa with megastar 50 Cent, and appearing in top television series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Katie Chonacas is multi-talented in nearly every facet of the industry - her omnipresence is undisputed; her talent is hexagonal.
Born and raised in Detroit, Katie always had star power in her veins. She began modeling as a teenager, and booked nearly every job she would go out for. Katie quickly became known for her fresh-faced, undeniable beauty and went on to book jobs with top brands such as PacSun, Hurley, BCBG, Macy's, Nordstrom, Amo Girls, T-Mobile, Tod's, Roger Vivier, Sketchers, K-Swiss, Ed Hardy, Diesel, Circa, and Merle Norman among others. Her ads went on to land her modeling jobs with magazines as well, including Maxim, Kurv Magazine, 944, Best Body, Stuff, YRB, Angelino, and Giant Magazine. Her career soared to new heights, as she crossed over into international recognition modeling for Sun Silk hair care products in Europe and Lux hair care products in Japan, all while becoming the face of luxury brand Oliver Peoples, Mosley Tribes and Taryn Rose shoes and handbags in the United States. Her modeling career soon took her to Los Angeles, where she moved full-time and found a true passion for acting.
Her crossover from modeling to acting was seamless, landing roles on top television series such as CBS's CSI: New York and FX Network's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She also excelled in film as she booked supporting roles in films such as Major Movie Star starring Jessica Simpson and The Code as starring Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas. She also shared a passionate scene with Nicolas Cage in Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans directed by Werner Herzog.
After dominating in modeling, appearing on television, and working with top actors in film, Katie decided to journey into her love for music; an affair dating back to her teenage years in the Detroit music scene. She landed a deal with 50 Cent and G-Unit, and toured with the superstars throughout Spain and South Africa. Soon after, Katie released her first single, "SO N2 U" which was licensed to the film Lure and also used on MTV's The Real World in 2009. Katie has since released two albums, "SO N2 U" and her spoken-word album, "Virgin" both of which can be found on iTunes under "Kyriaki Sunday"
In her spare time, Katie loves to continue pursuing creative avenues as an avid painter. She is also known for her philanthropy, as she supports organizations such as Children International, Team in Training, Tap Project, Eva's Heroes, The Brightest Star Foundation, and Love Cures Cancer. She has also created and produced two PSAs: one for Pantene Pro V where she donated eight inches of her hair, and the other for the BP Oil Spill. In the summer of 2010 she worked with social-justice television network, Halogen TV on their original TV program Noble Exchange.
Katie has relocated to New York City to focus on her painting endeavoUrs, while still finding plenty of work in the other five sides of her polygonal talent structure, for she knows no other way than the way of omnipresence.

On the FOURTH interview of Season TWO on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to TERRY TUCKER.
In many ways, I believe I am just like any of the billions of people existing on this planet.
I have reinvented myself frequently over my professional career. After I graduated from college at The Citadel (where I played NCAA Division I basketball), I was employed in the Marketing Department at the corporate headquarters of Wendy’s International in Dublin, Ohio. From there, I worked in hospital administration for Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. After getting married and moving to California for my wife's job, I became the Customer Service Manager for an academic publishing company in Santa Barbara.
But my greatest challenge began in early 2012 when I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Acral Lentiginous Melanoma, which presented on the bottom of my foot. By the time the melanoma was detected, it had metastasized to a lymph node in my groin. Because my cancer is so rare (only about 6,500 people are diagnosed with this form of malignancy in the U.S. each year), I was treated at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center. I had two surgeries to remove the tumors, and after I healed, I was put on a weekly injection of the drug, Interferon, to help keep the disease from coming back.
I took those weekly injections for four years and seven months before the Interferon became so toxic to my body that I ended up in the Intensive Care Unit with a fever of 108 degrees. Fortunately, expert medical care saved my life.
The Interferon gave me severe flu-like symptoms for two to three days after each injection. I lost fifty pounds during my therapy, was constantly nauseous, fatigued, and chilled, my ability to taste food significantly diminished, and my body constantly ached. This misery went on for over 1,660 days!
One thing I learned during all my pain and suffering is that you have two choices. You can succumb to the debilitating discomfort and misery, or you can learn to embrace it and use it to make you a stronger and better human being. I chose the latter.
There were times I felt so poorly and was in so much agony that I prayed to die. Each day was a struggle to use my mind to override my body's apathy and distress.
I realize pain and discomfort can beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it. But I also came to appreciate that I could use my hurting and anguish to make me stronger and more resolute.
I was no better at dealing with pain and discomfort than the next person. But every day, I found a way to survive, with the knowledge that I would need to do it again the following morning.
I recently wrote a book, entitled Sustainable Excellence, Ten Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life to help people find and live their purpose. The ten principles outlined in the book will provide the bedrock necessary to form the foundation of unshakable beliefs and dedicated behaviors to reinforce your attitude, no matter how much pain you must endure or how many obstacles you must overcome. My hope is that people who read the book will lead a life of significance, as well as a life of success.
Unfortunately, my cancer experience hasn't ended with me conquering my disease. The melanoma that had plagued me for over six years returned in 2017, and my only treatment option was the amputation of most of my left foot in 2018. The cancer reemerged again in 2019, requiring multiple operations. In February of 2020, an undiagnosed tumor in my ankle fractured my tibia. My only remedy was the amputation of my left leg above the knee. I also have tumors in both of my lungs.
But I refused to be a victim of this malignancy. I vowed to continue my fight. I knew the only way cancer could win is if I gave up or gave in to the disease, or it killed me.
In addition to my faith, I use my 4 Truths to guide the decisions I make in my life. These 4 Truths are:

In the SECOND interview of Season TWO on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to LOUIS HOWCROFT.
Louis Howcroft walks his own path. He loves art, so much so that he gets totally lost when creating. Using his eye, a computer and other tools he makes art that he believes represent a blueprint into his view of life. Images, prints, clothing...all fall into the same spaced for Louis, his way in reaching EUDAIMONIA.
Art, also called (to distinguish it from other art forms) visual art, a visual object or experience consciously created through an expression of skill or imagination. The term art encompasses diverse media such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, decorative arts, photography, and installation.
Art is often considered the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations and ways of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture and paintings.
Art forces humans to look beyond that which is necessary to survive and leads people to create for the sake of expression and meaning. ... Art can communicate information, shape our everyday lives, make a social statement and be enjoyed for aesthetic beauty.

In this the NINTH interview on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to ERIN McCULLOUGH.
It was the end of the year 2010 when I came to the startling conclusion that everything was about to change. I was living in Hawaii, married with a two-year-old daughter, my successful business of 10 years was surviving the economic downturn, I had amassed 5 homes as successful investment properties with a total value in the multi-millions, drove a nice car, lived in a beautiful home, in a great neighborhood, which was all about to come to an abrupt end. I suddenly found myself as a divorced, single mom of a two-year-old, living in one of the investment properties that was under construction, starting over. Sometimes when the bottom drops out it is the push that you need to wake up and see that the life you are living is not the one you want, that was the case for me.
In 2000 I had moved to Hawaii to start a new life and begin my journey of business owner. For those who have decided on this path you know that you can learn an incredible amount
I spent the next 8 years studying myself through self-improvement seminars in search of happiness, purpose, fulfillment, abundance, balance, stress management and meaningful relationships. I attended many seminars covering a variety of topics and later began working for them in various capacities, finally as chief of staff. I have always been a proponent of continued education in any capacity, so along with attending workshops began reading anything I could get MY hands on in the pursuit of joy. I got certifications of completion in workshops pertaining to Leadership, Relationships, Law of Attraction, Success in Life and Business, and Goal Setting and Attaining. It was not until I attended a seminar by Mike Dooley, author of the NY Times best-selling book Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living Your Dreams, that all of this information I had been studying converged.
I immediately went home from Mike Dooley’s workshop and began to follow the step-by-step guide that Mike had laid out and because of it, my entire life changed.
The first thing I noticed was an overwhelming amount of joy in my life on a daily basis, so much so that it would bring me to tears in gratitude throughout the day. Then, the successful business I had owned for nearly 18 years, that had been on the market for almost a year, had two different bidding wars over it and went into escrow immediately. Lastly, I met the love of MY life and decided to move to Portland to be with him.
I was then invited to become a Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer, studying under Mike Dooley, to teach what he teaches, and that is just what I did. While getting certified, it became clear to ME that it is MY life's purpose to help business people find joy, purpose, and meaning in their lives. I have received both Certifications that are offered under the Infinite Possibilities training and have conducted these workshops for two years.
With the encouragement of clientele and workshop attendees I have now begun facilitating workshops on this and all the information I have gathered over the years under the new title of "on the leading edge," so that I can help business people create the life they have always wanted.

In this the SIXTH interview on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to Emma Murray.
Emma Murray is the founder of High Performance Mindfulness – a practice she has used to guide AFL teams to premierships, motorsport drivers to championships, Australian cricketers to double centuries and Olympic athletes to the podium.
She’s also a real person… just like you. She’s a mum of four kids and understands the demands of juggling parenting, a household and a career.
From an early age, Emma had a love of sport. In her teens she was a national-level netballer and attended the AIS before pursuing a clear goal to practice as a mind coach by becoming an accredited mindfulness and meditation teacher, NLP Master Practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Her practice is grounded in the science and art of mindfulness and high performance psychology, and tried and tested in life… not only by Emma’s athletes and corporate clients, but by Emma herself in learning to live with the devastation of her son Will – who at the young age of 13, sustained a spinal cord injury, leaving him quadriplegic and in a wheelchair for life.

In this the fourth interview on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to LIZ MILLAR.
Liz Millar is a respected and well-known radio and nightclub DJ, Hatha Yoga teacher, Healing Codes practitioner, sound and crystal healer and esoteric counselor. Like most adult indigos, she has led an unconventional life, always a few years ahead of the mainstream and forever thinking outside the square. Perhaps it comes from her mixed Spanish/Filipino and Scottish/Irish ancestry but whatever has made her that way she is fiercely proud of it. She has consistently been a pioneering force on the Australian music and metaphysical scene since 1985, whether it be through showcasing the latest in underground electronic music which she has championed for the last two decades, to her groundbreaking work on the show "Spirit Level" (3RRR-Fm, 1991 - 1994), the first metaphysical talk show of its kind to hit the Australian airwaves, which produced a spin-off series of "Spirit Level" relaxation tapes guided by Liz.
Liz grew up in Melbourne, Australia and before finishing high school in 1985, had already begun a career as a DJ, first on the radio, then at warehouse parties and nightclubs during the earliest days of the now massive worldwide dance scene. In 1989, after spending her teenage years devouring anything about magic and the paranormal she could find, one of her on air co-hosts introduced her to Hatha Yoga. That began her formal training at 19, at Melbourne's oldest and finest Mystery School, Gita International Yoga. There she studied Yogic philosophy and the Ageless Wisdom traditions with legendary teachers Di Lucas and Lucille Wood for many years. In 1992 she graduated with a Gita Gold Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training and she has concurrently taught Hatha Yoga and enjoyed building a successful DJ-ing career ever since.
Since then she has also combined her passion for both underground knowledge and underground music in a very unique way. Her latest promotional mixed cd, a collection of continuous underground dance tracks is entitled, "Pleiadian Perspectives on House Music, Vol 1".
Combining two seemingly polar opposite passions makes perfect sense to Millar, and it seems that no matter what she turns her attention to she likes to go for the same result. "I like to think that whether I'm teaching a yoga class or spinning records at a party I'm essentially doing the same thing. In both instances I'm working with group energy through the use of light and sound frequencies, orchestrating them in a loving and well-thought out way, and (hopefully) facilitating positive change; creating a shift and an expansion in awareness away from the group's "everyday world". Both environments are all about literally "getting out of your head", and connecting at a deeper level with your higher consciousness, your heart and of course, your body. The two may seem completely un-related but if I do my job right I believe the end result is the same.

In this the fourth interview on the EUDAIMONIA Connection podcast we speak to MELISSA LaBOZZETTA.
Welcome to Melissa La Bozzetta's collection of work, curated with pride, passion and dedication to each concept from inception to fruition.
Her Portfolio explores many mediums: moody charcoals, vibrant water colours, intense inks and embellishments in gold are a common theme.
Categorised below with reference to style or inspiration, click through to view a category that grabs you.
Melissa LaBozzetta is an Italian-Australian artist based in Melbourne and is best known for her life drawings and abstract pieces. Combing her strong Italian bloodline with love for female sensuality and divinity, she captures the beauty of the female form.
She is a passionate, sassy, and energetic artist who recently became the first Australian Ambassador for the Non-Violence Project Foundation. Melissa LaBozzetta joins fellow Ambassadors for Peace: John Lennon, Oona Chaplin, Paul McCartney, Lionel Messi, Yoko Ono, Ringo Starr, Johan Ernst Nilson, Val Kilmer, Kunal Sood, Beatrice Fihn, Patrizia Gucci, Ali Muhammad, and many others.
The Non-Violence Project Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission to inspire, engage, and motivate people to understand how to solve conflicts without resorting to violence. The Foundation found its origins in the Non-Violence sculpture, known as "The Knotted Gun," which has become an iconic global symbol of peace. It was originally created by a Swedish artist, Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd, as a memorial tribute to the legendary singer and songwriter John Lennon after he was shot in 1980. The Foundation has spread the message of love and peace worldwide through artistic interpretations of their symbol.
In 2018, Melissa LaBozzetta painted the iconic symbol in a studio in London and called her sculpture ‘Ocean of Love.’ The three-dimensional sculpture is painted with blues that represent an ocean of trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, and faith. The gold, which represents the countries worldwide, is also interpreted as the master healer. "I feel the world painted on the knotted gun with blues and golds is the perfect combination to symbolize peace," shared Melissa.
“I'm hopeful that my sculpture moves people. I am also hopeful this incredible piece starts a conversation that spreads love and resonates with people - the more we talk and communicate the message of hope and peace, the better we will be,” she said.

Welcome to the EUDAIMONIA connection podcast.
I am Joey Busuttil and after experiencing years in mental, physical and spiritual psychosis- I decided to re claimed my life by stepping into a quest to find EUDAIMONIA.
Unlike our everyday concept of happiness, eudaimonia is not a state of mind, nor is it simply the experience of joys and pleasures. Moreover, happiness is a subjective concept. ... Eudaimonia, in contrast, is meant as an objective standard of 'happiness,' based on what it means to live a human life well.
When taken to the extreme, it can translate into the pursuit of pleasure and simply doing whatever you want that helps you attain this. Aristippus, for example, lived a life in pursuit of pleasure and did anything for the sake of sensual pleasure.
With the word Eudaimonia in mind, we’re striving to do justice to our full human potential and to work in some small but key way towards the improvement of our species.
Aristotle says that the purpose of mankind is eudaimonia—happiness. So, the purpose of man is to achieve eudaimonia, which is a state of serene and permanent happiness, rather than the momentary exaltation of the senses. In this way, our actions will be good or bad, depending on this ultimate goal.
This Podcast takes us there and we share this experience together.
