ABOUT THIS SERIES

Everyday is a battle you have to win

Darkness and sorrow has been on your team

Lost in a field, endless—you feared

A voice thundered from heaven

Then peace came down

It held your hand and says you’ll be fine

You have been in His sight even on your mother’s womb

Fear has no place in a heart that He owned

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 ESV

ABOUT THIS SERIES

The Lord has been so faithful to us since this church was planted 31 years ago and as we celebrate His goodness we want to show how far He has brought us—

From small church of coconut leaves and soil, with one man doing the ministry to obey the Lord's call, from grief of losing servants from illness, breakdowns and trying out our very best in the midst of it all—

Here we are, standing in Him who calls, who deliver, who is faithful beyond we can ever imagine—

Here we are, pressed but not crushed; not abandoned; never forsaken. Walking in His NEWNESS. ✨

“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the fresh wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled and the skins will be ruined (destroyed). But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.” Luke 5:37-38 AMPC

Even on the happiest days when blessings come one by one

On loneliest days where grief finds you to tear down

During the bestest days when you find the right one

When fame gives you more than you can hold

When dreams starts to unfold

May you remember the One who was there since the beginning

He who created everything

The God who hears our longing

Together in the battlefield fighting

He is the God who deserves all the singing and dancing

May your heart desire to live all the days worshiping

Have no other gods before Him

“You shall have no other gods before me.” Deuteronomy 5:7 ESV

Walang pinakamainam na buhay kundi ang buhay na mula sa Diyos. Ang mga ilog ng pagsubok ay tanda ng Kanyang proteksyon papunta at pagkarating sa Kanyang pangako.

Are you living the best life?

ABOUT THIS SERIES

The Hebrew name for this book is “in the Desert.” The word ‘in the desert’ appears in the very first sentence of this book in Hebrew. This title aptly describes the book's setting, which is in the desert.

God cared for the Israelites as they traveled through the desert. They ate food that God provided and drank water when they were thirsty. However, they complained about life in the desert and did not trust God to provide for them. Chapter 14 was one instance they show their hard-headedness. In verse 10, they even wanted to stone Moses and Aaron. Then the Lord appeared to them in a cloud. Yahweh, in His Father-heart, reminded them of His goodness and faithfulness. But His people kept on rejecting Him.

As a result of their lack of trust and disobedience, God punished them by allowing most of them to die during their wanderings in the desert. Only Joshua and Caleb survived to enter the Promised Land. However, the second generation, their children, did enter the Promised Land. God always does what he has promised.

This book reminds us that, yes, He is loving and faithful. But He is also angry at our sins. As we sinned and failed to ask for forgiveness, we also experienced its consequences.

The choice is ours.

And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them?” Numbers 14:11 ESV

ABOUT THIS SERIES

God called Moses to the Tent of Meeting to give the people of Israel specific instructions on executing the proper offerings. The Israelites committed sins before God and couldn’t approach God alone. To atone for their sins, they must do the bloody slaughtering of choice animals offered with the help of the priests and leaders. The Book of Leviticus was full of God’s commands and laws about sacrifices, purity, cleanliness, sanctification and holiness. God wanted His people to be different and non-conformance with the world, mature and walk with Him through sanctification. With these done, He freed all enslaved people, their debts paid and allowed them to go home. Our God is Holy. He makes sure that His people follow His command and be holy!

“You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.” Leviticus 20:26 ESV
