Truths of the Tribe Podcast: Recent Episodes

Princess Onyemeh-Sea

This podcast was created to be something the host, Princess Chisolu, didn’t have in the beginning of her spiritual journey. She wanted to foster an environment that was more about her relationship with God rather than the religious traditions Christianity is known for.

This podcast is a faith based podcast, providing a space to ask questions, share testimonies and experiences, and to talk about how to conduct ourselves as young, but maturing, Christians through this rapidly changing world—allowing us to grow in our faith. Sometimes it’s hard to find a space or a group of people to talk about our faith with, without feeling judged or out of place. And sometimes we have questions about it that are uncomfortable to ask.

So Princess Chisolu's goal in creating this podcast is to provide that safe space that will allow people to look at every aspect of life (including relationships, culture, personal growth, etc.) through a Christian lens. Everyone’s walk looks different. And that’s okay. So she hopes that she and the guests she bring on, can help everyone further their walk and make them feel more comfortable with it. For her this is about learning what it means to be a young, Black, Christian woman in the 21st century. What is it for you? Well, let’s figure this out together! Welcome to the Tribe!
