A place to share my honest feelings with all the audacity and actual passion in which I am grateful for my life.
Hot tub, hormone yoga therapy, metis beading, colouring, walls around the lake and yoga to Christ,
My biggest take aways from listening to a virtual grandpa to me, Jeffrey R. Holland, as he spoke about the “Hidden Fire” of prayer. I was grateful to be reminded to pray vocally, and to consider the power of prayer for a shield against temptation ( setting my intention for my own light to have no boundaries). I loved remembering how connected I feel with God, and that He cares about me connecting with Him.
Learning together with my faith focused friends of all ages 12 and up ( joys of my experience with “general conference” April 2024)
Finding my cherishing honouring and respecting spirit of integrity and virtue as I approach a challenge with trust peace and hope to replace the once shame filled way of attacking a challenge
Cultivating joy along my journey of transitioning out of a sprinting mentality to health to a long view
From selfish to service purpose of life - learning to be compassionate- learning to speak and give kindness, respect and honour
Next steps to make sure both genders feel like they have a voice ( especially the shy girls -that have something to say, but it takes all of them to get up and say it)
Calendaring self-compassion to avoid running out of gas unexpectedly ( unknowingly, and unaware)
Growing pains from my inner child to becoming even more capable, competent, confident, caring and compassionate ( remembering feeling inspired by a women’s circle of social workers)
Realizing that an invisible greenhouse is not enough for my sacred seeds ( the soil needs to be ready to nourish, and allow for the full fruition of these seeds)
Celebrating the gladness that God helps me uncover, especially as I dive into ancient texts that invigorate my heart, mind and spirit to consider the wisdom of those that came before me to allow for a seed of goodness to be planted in my heart and be nurtured. Creating an invisible greenhouse sanctuary to allow for my sacred seeds to germinate and grow to fruition.
Feeling deep gratitude for my friend Kym Peavoy, a Gottman Certified Marriage Coach, for sharing with me and my spouse the emotional needs quiz, and helping me uncover the difference between our solvable problems and our perpetual problems and knowing what to do with them. Respecting God’s creation ( my female body)- and giving it the time it needs in different inner seasons of my feminine cycle
Feeling blown to shreds - then planting myself in places of nourishing soul filling soil ( retreats and rhythms of stillness)
