Sound Spirit Radio podcast is about what music our guests enjoy, how the music makes them feel. Our guests are regular everyday folk like you and me from around the world. Where English isn't a guest’s native language, someone will translate. Imagine mashup of NPR story Corp, BBC desert island discs discussing what music is enjoyed and how it makes us feel. We hope guests will become hosts in future episodes.
The segment is the devotion for the series or the sorry the daily devotion that I’m doing with my friend Doug. Today is about taking your cares to God understanding that means actually praying about your cares.
Consider it all joy, how to see through. My brother James Mays just gave me a short insight into how to press on as James says and consider. It’s all joy in the midst of trials and tribulations. Which is where I am presently. This short recording is James explained to me this principal of Jesus in the garden was able to see through to his future joy, or should I say the joy of his coming future, the liberation of mankind in the midst of his suffering in the garden and asking that his fathers will be done.
This recording is this evening myself Tony Maden in the grocery store having dinner and then reading a devotion that I’m about to start with a friend in another state on the Bible app. I reflect briefly on my own circumstances currently my wife is divorcing me. I am unemployed and I do not have anywhere to live, and so I am constantly anxious where previously I had always experience the peace of God listen with me this evening to me read this devotion and I’ll join you on the next one tomorrow.
07.07.2024 Sunday Call - Seed Dies, Intercession. The meek will inherit the earth. Fire within us is gonna take Holy Spirit with Jesus. I’d love to see the whole earth blaze with the Holy Spirit.
Summit Living December 4 Adventure in Adversity. “ it was not you who sent me here, but God” Genesis 45:8. I’ve read this today because I’m in the process of hoping to recover from my divorce that started about five weeks ago. I’m grieving, but this is the Lord‘s cup for me. I have to accept that I’m drinking the Lord’s cup that he’s given for me at this moment in time. And that everything comes to me, comes from the Lord.

8/13/2022 Update. Earlier this year, around April, after a call with my dear friend Dee, I was inspired to combine my 15 year podcast show, Christ as us, with the Sound Spirit Radio. So today I moved to content over. Unfortunately the original host lost a number of files, but thankfully some were saved and successfully migrated. I didn't plan to move the files, doing so was completely spontaneous, but as I was doing it, I received confirmation that the timing was spot on after my Friday mens breakfast.

This is just a short update on progress made. I need to setup a podcast guest form in Airtable before I start schedule interviews. Thankfully I don’t have to reinvent the wheel, Natalie Champlain said I can reuse her Airtable form. We’ve been busy launching our maker brand Maden Luv Design this summer.
