The coming of the Holy Spirit assures the continuation of what Jesus Christ did and taught while He Jesus was in the earth realm in person. . . The early church began in power, moved in power as long as they cultivated the presence of the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is God’s promise and God’s provision.

Hebrews Chapter 11 is regarded as the Coliseum of faith, where the battle is fought against doubt and fear of the unseen and the unknown. Faith means that we believe with strong conviction; firmly in something for which there may be no tangible proof that only God can do it . In Matt 9:1-8 we see four friends forged the way for a friend into the presence of Christ. Their faith to believe that only Christ alone could restore that which was broken was the bedrock of their friend’s healing. How about us, is there anyone in our lives that has stayed with us through thick and thin, in prayer before the Lord until there is release in our lives. We are indeed our brothers' keeper, and we must couple our faith consistently to cause breakthroughs in each other's lives.

The scripture teaches us that God knows what we say even before the words are formed on our tongue and that God is present everywhere (Omnipresent) and knows everything (Omniscient). So then one can ask the question: Why should we pray if God already knows our need before we even ask? While it is a good question, as Christians, we need to share what the word of God says so we can learn, grow and transform. If Jesus prayed and He was God and needed to commune with the Father, how much more do we need to spend time talking with the Lord? First, it’s a command, Jesus tells us to pray. Second, it’s not about having our prayers answered, it’s about talking to God so we can develop an intimate relationship with the risen Lord. Everyone can pray, but praying with humility is what Jesus is looking for because He is after our hearts.

The Holy Spirit was given to the church to be her helper, and her guide. We as the church must return to become totally dependent on the Holy Spirit. This must happen both individually and collectively. We must become sensitive to his presence no matter where we are or what we are doing.

Before time began there was God the father in the manifestation of three persons--God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Father’s heart can be seen throughout His love pursuit after his creation of humankind. Despite our rejection of Him, HIs love, his grace, his compassion and his forgiveness is seen through this awesome love story between God the Father and humanity. God loves us with a love that is beyond our human understanding.

Jesus is the word of life for our lives. Our faith in Him can bring us abundant life in our soul-life, our physical lives and our eternal life. As Christians we are called to hold fast to the word of life and, by doing so, we find He is an anchor of our soul, where we find freedom and grow in our faith to shine a light in the darkness.

When God delivered Israel out of Egypt, God did so that they would go into the wilderness and worship Him. Everything Israel did after this point should have been a worship onto the God who deliver them from slavery and bondage, but that wasn’t the case. The first five chapters of Leviticus lay out the different offerings (sacrifices) required when Israel sinned against God. When we came to salvation, we did so under God's plan that Christ satisfied the requirement of sacrifice on our behalf. Paul writing to the Romans in Romans 12, reminded us that as Christ sacrificed His body for us, so we also must become that living sacrifice unto Him in our daily walk with Him.

Do we as Christians have an obligation and responsibility to share the gospel we have found? Yes, we do, just like the four lepers of Elisha’s day and the woman at the well, who both understood their responsibility to share bread and save a nation and living water to save a city. With joy, they ran to share what was found. Therefore, we too are to broadcast this great salvation we have found in Jesus Christ who is our Bread of Life and Living Water.

As Christians, the word of God is our lifeline. One of the most important things we need to do in our Christian walk is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to lost souls. The transforming word of God is not just for salvation, but for everyday life as well. As believers, we need to proclaim the word to ourselves, especially those struggling with mental illness, in order to recognize the mercy and grace of God, have strength for each day to live by faith and to have hope for tomorrow that our lives can change.

Our lives belong to God whether we are Jews or gentiles, believers or unbelievers, and because of this one fact we are given the choice to choose life and not death. The story in John 4 tells of a woman, a gentile, who struggled in her community to fit in, but more so, looked down on by her fellow gentiles because of her past. One day an intentional encounter with Christ at a well brought new life to this woman's spirit and to the community. Jesus will do the same for us no matter who we are or where we are from, that opportunity is always waiting as Christ is always waiting for an intentional encounter and for us to say yes.

The Life of the resurrected Christ is a life given agent. There is no power or force in the earth realm more vital that gives assurance of the liberation of men and women from oppression than the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ Lives. Because he lives, those who believe in Him will also live.
This is the final part of Pastor Rachael's sermon "A Case for the Church: Are We Disciples or Members." We are living in serious times, in times of darkness and lawlessness and it is not going to get better. However, the Church of Jesus Christ is still here and the Holy Spirit is still operating in the earth realm and prayerfully in the church as well. God has given the church the responsibility for whatever happens in this world and in our nation. The church/we must be the change agents that The church is responsible for whatever happens in the world.

In the face of Jesus Christ, the face that was disfigured for us, we see God is not against the sinner but for the sinner. We see that God is not the enemy of the sinner but his friend — his father and that the standards of God we think we cannot keep God has come in the person of Jesus Christ to offer forgiveness, peace and new life to those who have failed and continue to fail at every commandment God has given. John says, “the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” Someone once said that the grace and truth that came in Jesus Christ is “the surprising generosity of the cross.” Jesus Christ on the cross cleanses our consciences and draws us to God the Father through his divine mercy. God has displayed His amazing love, His amazing grace, His abundant love and His enduring mercy in the face of Jesus Christ.
As our theme this year is “Looking to the Harvest,” this message highlights God the Father as Lord of the harvest, how we need to look to Him, and know Him above all else. We will look at three I Am statements of Jesus found in the Gospel: Jesus as the light of the world, as the bread of life, and as the good shepherd and see how we too can be light, bread and caring Christians to win souls for the kingdom of God.
In these last and trying days, the cross is beckoning to the church to come and die. Again Jesus said, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me (Luke 9:23). There are so many benefits at the cross of Jesus Christ. The cross brings reconciliation, the cross brings God and man together, and the cross also brings man and man together. At the cross is where we find either healing or division. At the cross is where individual personalities, self-motivation and unholy desires disappear and fades away. It is a declaration, and a living out of this truth from Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

It’s Christmas time all over the world. Even folks who don’t believe in Christ are celebrating Christmas as a holiday. It’s not “happy holidays” It is either “Happy Christmas or Merry Christmas.” To celebrate Christmas means the eternal Word, Jesus Christ appeared in human form as the light of the world. Simply put, the Word that God spoke became man. So Christmas is the revelation of the Eternal Word putting on human flesh...In the midst of all we are going through this Christmas season, let us remember that light has shined through Christ to guide our feet in the way of peace. This peace speaks of a harmonious relationship between God and man, and men and men, nations and families (Luke 1:79)
Why did Jesus choose a Samaritan, rather than a priest, a Levite, woman, child or Roman to teach us about mercy? To find out, listen to this message from Minister Haley Main Lis.
Deacon Felicia Sterlacci discusses the relationship between the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, and asks us to consider how much more we must love the body of Christ, if we are to touch the lives of those who do not yet know Him.
How do we have hope in hard times? Through the example of Jesus Christ, this sermon from Minister Haley Main Lis helps us understand that hope springs up in the face of trouble, loss, and brokenness. In it, we are to be like Jesus, bringing healing, comfort, correction, and more to those in need of hope.
Pastor Rachael Chinnery Todman's Sunday message teaches us that our existence and future all flows from the heart of God. We must discover God, His purpose and His will for our lives by fellowshiping with Him every day. And when we are present with God, we have full confidence because God is at the helm. If you have a prayer request, or have made a decision to follow Jesus and want to know what's next on your journey, we would be honored to pray with you. Call us at 1-877-467-3167.
Pastor Rachael Chinnery Todman's Sunday message reminds us that God is a God of love, and compassion. He loves humanity so much that He surrendered Himself to the punishment for sin. It also speaks to the need of constant communion with God through prayer. No matter what is going on in your life, will you always choose Christ? We are encouraged to make Jesus Christ our choice in all of life's circumstances. If you have a prayer request, or have made a decision to follow Jesus and want to know what's next on your journey, we would be honored to pray with you. Call us at 1-877-467-3167.
There is power in the blood of Jesus—but this power is known only to the redeemed. Pastor Rachael Chinnery Todman teaches that if you are not redeemed this power does not belong to you. Only the redeemed has been given the privilege to know the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. If you are redeemed you belong to Jesus Christ. If you know that you are not living for Jesus, then you need to answer this question. What will I do with Jesus' blood? Know this, that all hope is found in Jesus Christ - He loves you so much that He died on a cruel cross for you. Say "yes" to Jesus Christ and live. If you have a prayer request, or have made a decision to follow Jesus and want to know what's next on your journey, we would be honored to pray with you. Call us at 1-877-467-3167.
