Earlier this month Turkey Mountain announced two big projects to expand the experience at the urban wilderness. The new visitor center brings new services to the existing park space, and a new plot of land allows the park to grow beyond its current borders.
If you go hike or bike in Tulsa's urban wilderness, you'll see new trail markers officially christening most trails. Turkey Mountain's foremost expert, Ryan Howell gives a history lesson on the names of trails at Turkey Mountain.
