"And we also thank God continually because, when you received the Word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the Word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe." -1 Thessalonians 2:13
Let's take a dive into the question - Is the Bible true? There is historical, archaeological, and scientific proof as well as eyewitness accounts of the Bible authenticity. But there is no better proof of the Bible's divine inspiration than its ability to change the minds and hearts of its readers.
It is true that human authors wrote the Bible, but they wrote it by God the Father's inspiration. He approved every writing included in His Holy Book and inspired the authors to pen His Words. In this episode we'll look at some of the simple reasons why you can trust the Bible.

1 Corinthians 2:9 reads, "But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Isn't that a great reason to seek the Lord God and hope in His Holy name? Isn’t that a great reason to bask in His glorious presence?
Are you ready to accept that we cannot even understand those things which the Lord has prepared for those who love Him? Can you believe that He has such extraordinary plans for those who He calls according to His purpose? Well let's talk about it.
The Lord already knows what He is going to do and yet He is inviting us into His glorious presence right now so that we can see His work and so we experience refreshment in His loving Spirit. Therefore, let us go boldly to the throne of His marvelous presence and abide in His perfect light, life, and love.

In this short but sweet message, I want to share with you the simple fact that GOD IS IN CONTROL. If we slow down and be still we can clearly see His hand at work in everything. If we settle ourselves in stillness and silence we can hear what He is saying to us. This is important because we know what He speaks is power! So no matter what you are going through remember God is in control and wants you to rely on Him through it all! Be loved, beloved.

If we consider the violence, hatred, and harmful behavior happening in the world it is easy to see how God is allowing us to see just how far we have fallen away from His goodness. This, coupled with the mental health and emotional turmoil rising among our young adult population, God is showing us a huge sign that we are in a very fallen state. These conditions result when human minds are set on sin instead of Christ; on self-righteousness instead of Christ-mindedness. The resulting identity crises take shape when humans create a misinformed and sinful identity for themselves rather than taking on their identity in Christ. When we realize that the goal of mankind is to willingly align with its identity in Christ, we will be better off in this world and the next.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"- 2 Corinthians 5:17

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. -Ephesians 2:10
Sin, wickedness, rebelliousness, and evil behavior and attitiudes contribute to the physical and moral decay we see happening in this world. Humankind must return to the image God intended for us before we allowed sin to rule our lives. The only way to turn away from sin and toward God's perfect image for us is to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is because we cannot save ourselves from sin, only He can, that is why He is the only Way and the only Image we should look to and depend on.

The Risen Christ is Faith's Reality. And in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Paul lays out the reality of the Gospel in plain language,
"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,"
The message of the cross is simple and pure and able to transform the ungodly into the righteousness of Christ unto salvation for all who believe.

James 1:2-5 reminds us of the realities of human life, trials, and temptations. The truth is that we must experience trials and temptations because we live in a broken world. But thank the Lord that His Word never just leaves us with the bad news about our condition. God did not just make us aware of our sinful condition, He provided a remedy for us to deal with it: patience and endurance through Christ Jesus! In Christ there is a greater reality about believers, and we are to believe what God says about us. Let's talk about it.

Let us sing songs of praise and love to the Lord, because it is indeed a new season of life and new opportunities are all around us!
“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come; the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me."
(Song of Solomon 2:11-13, NIV)
So now that winter has passed in the physical world. Will you allow winter to pass in your spiritual life as well? Will you allow God to bring forth a new beginning in you? Coming into and living a godly life means that a time of joy is dawning; it is the springing forth of true love like we see in the Song of Solomon. Do you know what the gospel of Jesus Christ is? In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
These are the last words Jesus spoke to the disciples before He ascended into heaven. That should tell us that this is a very important commission for believers. With this important commandment in mind, I want to share some basic truths about a not so basic message; The Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and reconcilation with our Creator God!

In Jesus, we can still go home to our heavenly Father. Our confession, repentance, and salvation in the name of Jesus brings about our restoration to our position as children of God. Salvation is by grace alone and through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. This is where our assurance of heaven comes from. This is an assurance of salvation which does not come from presumption or false confidence. Our assurance must come from an adequate understanding that we are saved through faith in Christ alone!
True salvation is not of the self but of Jesus Christ. He is the only way to heaven, and the only One a true believer looks to. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever belives in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Trusting the Word of God and His prophecy is essential so we can stay alert and vigilant as the signs get clearer. Trusting His Word also keeps us hopeful for the day of redemption. However, while we hope for the second coming of Christ, we are not to take the many blessings He gives us for granted.
In other words, we should not act like foolish, talentless goats. Matthew 25 addresses how we should instead use the wisdom, talents, and fellowship God gives us through Christ to His glory. And warns us to multiply our gifts and talents through sharing the gospel in love and with a Spirit of service. And all the more as we see the Day of the Lord approaching. After all, God is looking for such a people to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. But the foolish, talentless goats will have no place in the kingdom, so stay vigilant!

The body of Christ is all believers working together with Christ under one Authority and in one Spirit to complete our Father’s plan by putting understanding of His Word into action on earth. And in 1 Peter 5:1-7 we see the founding Father of Christ’s church giving instruction to those who know Christ intimately as His body. Peter instructs them (and us) to shepherd God’s flock, those who are younger in faith but not necessarily younger in age. In this way, older brothers and sisters in faith are the keepers of their younger spiritual brothers and sisters in the faith. Let's see what Peter means by this in this passage of scripture.

Humankind is meant for more than we see in this world. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 tells us that that God calls us to endure hardships in this world, remain diligent in seeking Him, rightly interpreted His Word, and stay set apart for His use in preparation for eternal life with Him. This is how God makes examples of ethical consistency amid a sinful world so that we can learn and choose eternal life (2 Timothy 3:10-15). But these days, it seems that the exact opposite describes our society. These last days are more perilous than any time in human history. And by the phrase “last days” I mean the whole time from the writing of the New Testament until now and until the second coming of Christ. And the moral decay we see is a direct result rejecting God’s calling.
God’s wrath against sinful humanity, outlined in Romans 1:18-29, is not a joke at all. We need rock-solid dependence on God to turn this thing around. And this solidness comes from God’s wisdom found in the Holy Scriptures. A refreshed commitment to God’s Word is the only practical response to the judgement we see happening around us. That is because God’s Word is powerful in the human heart and can change the minds of people in distinct ways. But first, we must let Him in.

Our Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth or B.I.B.L.E. teaches us that our inheritance of God's blessings is the result of obedience. And in the book of Deuteronomy, God is challenging us to live a future worthy of His great inheritance through faith and obedience. He promises His children, those who devoutly love Him through faith in Jesus Christ, an inheritance of eternal blessings through genuine love evidenced by our holy living and loving others. In Deuteronomy 28:1-14, we see these promised blessings spelled out. However, God's inheritance of blessings is not to be taken for granted. These blessings are far more valuable than perishable money, silver, and gold.
Also, it is also important to know that disobedience brings punishment. In Deuteronomy, through Moses, God warns us to teach the next generation to believe He is the one true God and that His power and faithfulness can be depended on during times of need. But He also warns that we must teach our children to fear the Lord and keep His commandments in order to inherit His blessings rather than curses (Deuteronomy 28:15-68).
Bottom line? God promises blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience.
This is why it is so important that each generation teach the next how to develop a proper relationship with God. And discipleship under the leading of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus leads us to the fulfillment of God’s invaluable promises and perfect inheritance.

Instead of asking, "Where is God?" during times of trouble, we could ask, "What does trusting God look like?"
Perhaps we could even ask ourselves if we have continued to serve, worship, and praise God in our hardships. That is a more helpful question. There are times we feel that God is far away and that we are alone in our struggle. But we are not alone and we are not forgotten. Isaiah 49:15 reminds us that even a woman can forget her nursing child, yet God will not forget His children. Let's resolve to believe Him and trust Him no matter what!

The psalmist David wrote, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10). But what exactly was David saying to God with such passion and longing? In the first place, David is acknowledging that only God can renew and transform the human heart for His use.
In other words, David is confident that God is the only source of this kind of renewal. David is asking God to strengthen and build upon his faith, love, and devotion which is exactly what we need right now. God is calling us to trust Him with our hearts and spirits right now.

Jeremiah 7:23 - but I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.
Godly obedience is a practice that changes and influences our lives according to God’s direction. It is how we should behave toward God’s commands, laws, and judgements. As an action, obedience fully completes a command of God. It is important to understand that if one of His commands is not completed fully, it is the same as not completing it at all. We have free will to choose whether we will commit to or abandon God’s commands in our lives but there are consequences for both. Our obedience or disobedience determines whether God unlocks or withholds His rewards for both this life and the next (Matthew 10:41-42; Revelation 22:12).

Selected for Obedience and Protection
God calls us to serve in His victorious kingdom. He calls us to trust Him through the overwhelming tests of this life. Those who He selects for this service, He puts His Spirit in. The indwelling Holy Spirit progressively builds us into the image of Christ. In this process, the Lord makes full use of the talents, skills, abilities, experiences, and personalities He gave us. This is how we glorify His presence in our lives.
Selected and strengthened by His Spirit, the Lord empowers us to put an end to generational curses and plaguing sins. When we obey the Word of God, no matter how long standing a curse or sin, the Lord gives us the power to trample and destroy them! (Luke 10:19)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12)
Each day we receive new grace and mercy from the Lord. And every day He gives us a chance to read and study His Word to prepare for enemy attacks. We should do this for our own good, yes, but most importantly out of reverence and gratitude for the God who speaks. Therefore, knowing and believing His Word is imperative in spiritual warfare and is essential for closer fellowship with Him.
The Calling: Always Keep Your Spiritual Armor On (Ephesians 6:13-17)
Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore,
• Fasten on the belt of truth.
• Put on the breastplate of righteousness.
• As shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
• Carry the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.
• Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Pray always in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

In our dynamic and fast-paced culture we often see images of superheroes in the media and often refer to them to describe those who seem to excel above and beyond what we are capable or able to do in our own will. Sometimes, we even pretend to be superwomen and supermen when we know that certain people are watching.
However, in reality, many of us rely on energy drinks, coffee, alarm clocks, detailed to-do and check lists, electronic calendars, notes, and reminders and other superficial sources of motivation to keep us going instead of relying on the Voice and Word of God and the Spirit of His Word.
The good news is we don't need to be superheroes in the Presence of our Holy and Almighty God! But, we must slow down and be still to clearly hear God's voice and know Him and His intentions for our lives.
“So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that He had done in creation” (Genesis 2:3).

1 Peter 1: 18-19 (NKJV) ~
18knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
God Redeemed us not by government issued- currencies or other physical commodities that the world considers most valuable which are all temporary and will all perish. These stores of value are empty of power in redeeming eternal life and salvation. But only by the imperishable blood of the Lamb of God we are free eternally.
To have eternal life there must exist a permanent payment. Jesus’ blood is eternal life. Thus, God did not pay with a depreciating resource. Because He redeemed us for eternal life, only through His eternal life, Jesus’ blood, are we free for eternity.
Remember, the redemption of our eternal souls is a matter of love from our Creator above.

As believers we know that Christ Jesus still speaks to us through the Holy Word (2 Timothy 3:16). Also, God credits Jesus’ righteousness to us through faith (Romans 4:24). We also accept and believe that grace and peace multiply as we mature in the knowledge of God, our Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:2). And the divine power of God gives us everything we need to live according to His Will and righteousness (2 Peter 1:3). Why then, does it seem so hard to live a holy life?
1 Thessalonians 4:7 (NIV) For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

God has a purpose for every life He creates. We have free will to choose if we want to walk in His purpose or if we want to go our own way. When we walk away from the path God has for us, we generally are less aware of the truth about the influences of the spiritual realm. Thus, we easily fall in line with undesirable influences. Nevertheless, He does not remove His love from us when we stray and go our own way. In fact, His love for us in incomprehensible to our mortal minds and has the power to draw us back to Him through Christ Jesus.
It took some growing pains and lots of tears but now I know that I am here to do the will of He who sent me. This revelation is not of my own understanding but is confirmation of the indwelling Holy Spirit. And because He spoke to my heart to reveal this truth to me, I pray that God uses my testimony to touch you. I also pray that He will use your testimony to touch someone as well. Be love, beloveds.

Why form habits of spiritual health?
