Welcome to a brand new season and a brand new episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing by Yuvarajan. After a long hiatus, I am finally back. This podcast is dear to my heart, and I am just so delighted to be back again. Our podcast has turned three this year. Thus, this podcast has entered a certain level of maturity. However, the podcast will stick to its core goal, which is to be a beacon for knowledge sharing and a safe,judgement-free platform for anyone who wants to voice out their opinions or life stories to the world. Everyone is truly welcome in this podcast. The podcast intends to give the voice to the voiceless.
This episode will focus on the significance of food in various religious beliefs. A little disclainer, this podcast is meant to be academic and for educational purpose. This podcast was in no way to demean or disregard any religious beliefs , as I respect and bow down to all religious beliefs in respect. I learned many interesting and new knowledge while researching for creating this podcast episode. I hope this episode will be a eye-opener to all of you and create a better undertstanding about all religious beliefs as from understanding, comes mutual respect and thus conflicts can be averted. Thank you.

Welcome to my third episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. I apologize for being quiet for the past 3 weeks as I was on vacation in Down Under, Australia. I felt the vacation was a timely one as I felt rather jaded and exhausted after a long, tedious schooling year of 2021 which got extended to February this year. Now that I am back, feeling energized, revitalized and ready to continue my journey of the year 2022. This episode will be a podcast interview with a fellow senior from JSCS, Priscilla Barrios. Priscilla is a Jay Shetty Certified Coach, who focuses on the importance of becoming the authentic self. She truly believes in the life of free will and guides her clients towards that as well. This episode may be an eye-opener to some of you, so make yourself comfortable, sit tight and enjoy this episode.

This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. By the time this episode gets published, it would be the eve of Valentine's Day. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all lovebirds who are listening to this episode a blissful Valentine's Day. May the love prosper and progress daily for all couples. For singles out there like me, don't feel glum. We can always look forward to the Day after Valentine's Day, February 15, as it is Single's Awareness Day, or we can wait nine months for Single's Day.
However, Valentine's Day is not all lovey-dovey, flamboyance of expensive gifts, love in the air. To keep true to the purpose of this podcast, anti-discrimination, I searched Google with the terms of Valentine's Day discrimination. Suddenly, this article in NPR written by Linda Poon caught my attention. I found it worthy of being featured as a podcast episode. Global activists regard February 14 as V-Day. V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women, girls and the planet. V-Day believes that when art and activism come together, they have the power to transform systems and change culture. V-Day is a movement and an example of the power of art as a liberating tool for transformational holistic education and social justice. Are you intrigued to hear more? If yes, this episode is for you. So sit back and stay tuned.

Welcome to my fifth episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing.
This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. In the previous episode, we looked into the power of music to fight discrimination. Being a big fan of AR Rahman, music comes naturally to me as I grew up listening to AR Rahman's music. The list of songs mentioned in the previous episode is not exhaustive, as I have more songs to tune in to look for inspiration. Thus, I will share more inspiring songs in my future episodes. Come to think of it, it is just like having my extraordinary playlist – Yuva's Extraordinary Playlist.
As promised in the previous episode, I will dedicate the entire episode to one song I turned to during one of the roughest periods in my life. The song I meant was Nenjae Yezhu (Lift your Heart). Kutti Revathi penned the song, and AR Rahman, composed and sung the song himself. Combining inspiring words and uplifting music, you get a work of art. For those who also liked this song just like I do, this will be a treat for you. So, grab your earphones, sit back and enjoy this episode.

Welcome to my fourth episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. I apologise for the delay in releasing this episode as I had just returned from a family vacation. This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. In the previous episode, we looked into a method I have applied to come out of feeling discriminated, the 3Cs to success. In this episode. I will be sharing another technique I use to combat discrimination, the power of music. I am a big fan of AR Rahman. AR Rahman or Allah Rakha Rahman is a legendary Indian music composer born in Chennai. He was born AS Dileep Kumar, the eldest son of 4 siblings. I am sure many of you may recognise AR Rahman from his double Oscar swoop for the movie Slumdog Millionaire in 2008. His famous quote, Ellam Pugazhum Iraivanukke or All credit goes to the Almighty won over thousands of hearts as he credits all his fame and success to God, despite doing all the hard work by himself. This exemplary trait of humility sets him apart from many successful people. But do you know, his musical genius was known to the Indian sub-continent ever since his debut movie Roja back in 1992? His birthday was on January 6th, about three weeks ago. So, AR Rahman, sir, if you are listening, I wish you a belated birthday and continuous success in all your future ventures.
You might wonder why the elaborate introduction of AR Rahman? Because his music has been a companion for me growing up and pretty much defined my childhood. I could describe each stage of my life with AR Rahman songs. I also want to give a big shoutout to Rahmaniac Malaysia for being the platform to gather all AR Rahman or Rahmaniacs under one group. This episode will be a treat to all music fans, especially AR Rahman fans, so make yourself comfortable, sit tight and enjoy this episode. Welcome to my third episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing Season 2. I appreciate your willingness to check out my content, and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. This episode will be another solo episode where I will be talking about pertaining topics related to anti-discrimination. In the previous episode, we looked into several discriminations definitions and derived a summative meaning from all those definitions. I had also shared my own experience dealing with discrimination. So you might wonder how did I come out of feeling stuck due to being oppressed. In this episode, I will share some of my coping methods with discrimination. I would credit my ability to rise above prejudice to the principle of success shared by Swami Rama Tirtha. He shared the 3 C’s of Success, namely Concentration, Consistency and Co-operation/ Community. I will explain all three of them in this episode. I am not implying these are the best methods, but these methods worked wonders for me. You may adapt some of the techniques that I will share to match your situations. This episode may be an eye-opener to some of you, so make yourself comfortable, sit tight and enjoy this episode.

Hello everyone, my name is Yuvarajan and welcome to the premiere of a brand new season of Knowledge Worth Sharing. My podcast has officially turned 2 this year. Since Season 1 has ended, I have taken a gap from podcasting to revel into a journey of pursuing my passion, which is to serve as many people as possible worldwide. I have enrolled into Jay Shetty Certification School back in May 2021 after waiting patiently for almost a year and a half. I have successfully graduated from JSCS on October 2021 and I can now proudly say that I am a Jay Shetty certified coach. Along the journey, I have discovered my coaching niche, Anti-Discrimination. Therefore , for this brand new season, I will be focusing on the powerful human stories who went against the odds. This podcast will dissect on these strong willed individuals who has been subjected to discriminations on how they came out of it and in turn serving the world in their own unique way, and thus making the world a better place. It will be a mix of series of interviews and solo episodes which will retain the educational element as I believe discrimination stems from ignorance and education has the power to eradicate ignorance and thus potent enough to combat discrimination. Welcome to the 10th episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing. This signs a new landmark in the podcast as for the episodes has entered double digit for the very first time. In this episode, the podcast starts a new persona from being a series of solo podcast episodes to occasional interview format. This change is required as the podcast started to get mature in content. In conjunction with the lead up to International Day of Yoga 2021, I am truly blessed to have my dear friend, Sugitha Kanniaseelan who is a registered Yoga teacher under the tutelage of SK Durai, her guru. She has started her own Yoga venture, Arunachala Yoga. Together, we will explore what is yoga and its benefits to mankind. Yoga chitta vritti nirodh, which means Yoga is the neutralization of the waves of feeling. Some of you might wonder why I started this episode with this quote. As we are about one month away from International Day of Yoga due on June 21st, I would like to dedicate the next three or four episodes on the topic of yoga. And today’s episode would be the continuation episode dedicated to Yoga, which I will delve deeper into the concept of Yama and Niyama. These episodes will be loosely based on the book The Art and Science of Raja Yoga written by Swami Kriyananda. As I have explained earlier, Yoga is the neutralization of the waves of feeling which helps to return man to his natural state. And the word Yoga also means “Union”. On the physical level, this signifies the complete harmony of all parts of the body, a balanced support of all the members for one another in such a way that disease, or disharmony, is faced with a united defence and can hardly make inroad into the body. The first two stage of Patanjali’s eightfold path are known as yama and niyama. Yama means control, niyama means non-control. Literally, they are the list of Do’s and Don’t’s on the spiritual path. Since each list has five subcategories, they can also dubbed as the Ten Commandments of Yoga. The rules of yama (the Don’ts) are five; Non-Violence, Non-Lying, Non-Stealing, Non-Sensuality or Brahmacharya and lastly Non-Greed or Non-Attachment. It is interesting to note all of these virtues are listed in negative terms. The implication is that when we remove our delusions, we cannot be but be benevolent, truthful, respectful of others’ property, because we are programmed by nature to be good. Unfortunately, we act the opposite not because it is natural but because we have embraced an unnatural state of egoistical inharmony. The rules of niyama (the do’s) are Cleanliness, Contentment,Austerity, Self-Study or Inspection and Devotion to the Supreme Lord. Each of these principles, when practiced to tee, bestows definite spiritual rewards. So five yamas and five niyamas combined forms the Ten Commandment of Yoga.

Welcome to my seventh episode of Knowledge Worth Sharing. Thank you for your willingness to check out my content and I hope you will find it meaningful and worth sharing. Countless gratitude for your support and valuable feedbacks for my previous episode. If you have not heard my first five episodes, please do check it out in various podcast platforms. Apologies for my delay in uploading this episode as I need the extra time to study on the materials gather for today’s episode. The previous episode of my podcast have received quite a good response, therefore I believe that uncertainty seems to be a trending theme presently. Uncertainty is such a diverse topic that it can be seen in various angles. Thus, in this episode, we will divulge more on uncertainty through the lens of psychology. The human mind are sub-consciously programmed to strive towards comfort and safety, therefore the moments of uncertainty is feared by many as this promises neither comfort nor safety. Some even chose drastic steps to avoid uncertainty but often we do know from history and various autobiographies that drastic actions taken without much consideration and contemplation often leads to disaster.

The Covid-19 pandemic era is truly unprecedented and caught everyone by surprise. It affects everyone in terms of health, economy, social and mentally. About 3 million lives are lost due to this pandemic, which are dubbed as the deadliest pandemic ever since the Spanish flu in early 20th century. No doubt these situations are creating panic and fear among people all over the world. There is a popular saying, "Change is the only constant thing on life". Therefore, change is inevitable in life. Some may embrace change as a break from monotony in life , but there are also some who experience change by being demotivated or depressed. This pandemic has created the fear of uncertainty among many and this has trigger many mental health related issues such as depression, anxiety and stress. But actually if one can just have a change of perspective on the happenings in life by accepting whatever happened and bolster oneself to be brave to face the uncertainty, then the fear will eventually fade away. This episode took cognisance from various scriptures on how to be certain in the time of uncertainty.

Racism and discrimination has been around ever since human beings set foot on earth. It's unfortunate that racism and discrimination still exists in the 21st century, where knowledge is easily obtainable and abundantly via Google and various social media platforms. Often discrimination and racism is rooted from ignorance or lack of clarity about culture different from us. A simple yet profound poem by renowned writer Ralph Waldo Emerson entitled The Mountain and the Squirrel may shed some light on why complexes are wrong and what is the right attitude to portray in the society. This episode will be based on this poem. We are on Instagram too, do check us out on IG @knowledgeworthsharing_yd. #BlackLivesMatter #StopAsianHate #HumanLivesMatter #SpreadLoveNotHate

In the previous episode, I have promised to explain what intellect is, the importance of it to our lives and how we can develop it further. For generations human beings have been ignorant of the value and the importance of the intellect. Their ignorance has led to indifference and neglect of this vital equipment. As a result, the human intellect has been in a weakened and decimated state. People with a defunct intellect are unaware they are in a confused state and have zero clarity on what they want and what they do in this world. Due to this, cases of depression, stress, mental heath issues and in extreme cases, suicidal cases have been on the rise globally. When one developed a strong intellect, one will have more clarity in their thinking abilities, able to reason precisely and judge perfectly.

The wisdom of the Gita has for centuries inspired great thinkers, not just in India but in every corner of the world. We now have the opportunity to listen and benefit from these eternal principles.
Sunandaji has been studying and researching Vedanta, the ancient philosophy of India, for over four decades. Her clear and powerful presentation of the Bhagavad Gita in contemporary thought has been acclaimed in India and abroad.
Regards, Vedanta Centre Kuala Lumpur. People often complained about time management as they often rushed to finish assignments to the very last minute. People often grunted like, "I have not enough time", "I am overwhelmed with work in a short span of time" or "Time is my enemy". But actually these people are complaining about their work nature. One need to manage themselves in a given time. In this episode, I will share why the very concept of time management is flawed and how you can manage yourself to be better at work?

At the time of recording, I have just completed my 40-day-Mandala or cycle of Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya after being initiated by Sadhguru of Isha Foundation back in January. This initiation was special and unique as it has been done online for the first time due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic where mass gathering events are not encouraged. It is also the first time the initiation has been done twice in a day. In this episode, I will share my personal experience after completing the 40-day-mandala and the benefits of Shambavi Mahamudra Kriya. If you are interested, these are the links to know more about Shambavi (http://innerengineering.com/completion-with-sadhguru-online)and Inner Engineering Online. (innerengineering.com)

The quote "Intense Work is Rest" was first coined by Swami Rama Tirtha in his speeches in the early 1900s. He was implying the full concentration on work and not giving in to distractions is the actual rest one will experience as there is no opportunity for stress to creep in. This 100 years plus knowledge is still relevant, if not even more relevant in the 21st century.
