Dry skin:

A lack of moisture in the skin's layer is one of the main characteristics of dry skin. This results in the tightening and flaking of the skin. When a person has dry skin it look dul, especially around cheek and eye areas which usually have more of a natural glow.

Dry skin can also be caused by lack of elasticity in the skin,which causes premature wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead and around the eyes and mouth.

When a person's skin is really dey, it is not uncommon for them to experience itchy or a burning sensation of the skin.

Dry skin can sometimes be determined by a person's genetics; however, it is more commonly triggered by extern factors such as extreme climates, medications, and cosmetics.

Dry skin is also skin is also the result of the body's natural ageing process due to the slowing down of the skin's sebum production.

Tips to help stay sane during this period in Nigeria:

  1. Take a break from the social media and other news platforms

  2. Distract your mind by listening to your favorite music or movie

  3. Get active. Leave your bed and do something

4.Avoid going out during the curfew

  1. Talk to someone if you feel your mental health is at risk.( chronic negative thoughts and all that)

  2. Go down when they are shooting in your area

  3. Do not loose hope. This phase shall pass but we need you sane to enjoy the better Nigeria.
