The project's aim is to create a platform for current students, academics and research groups to share their outward facing projects to audiences under a single banner. This banner will be synonymous with diverse, contemporary and high quality content across various genres and will aim to reach both local and global audiences.
This prototype model of collaborative effort between artists, academics and scientists etc. First conceived (2020) by Nicholas John (http://metaspectacle.com) as part of a masters programme at Plymouth College of Art (https://www.plymouthart.ac.uk).
This podcast is Part 2 of 2 on the topic of lichen with James Lendemer, Associate Curator, Lichenology, Institute of Systematic Botany at the New York Botanical Garden, James is also Assistant Professsor in the Department of Biology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
