Are you familiar with the work of Walt Whitman? Born on Long Island in 1819, his formal education was over by the age of eleven. He became a printer's apprentice, then a journeyman printer, free-lance writer, and editor. He published his first edition of Leaves of Grass at his own expense in 1855. For the rest of his life, he continued to add, revise and release new editions of the book. It was a treat for me to read one of his poems for you. Please enjoy A Song of the Rolling Earth by Walt Whitman. https://monticellogeorgiayoga.com/podcast/ (Support the podcast here!) - Visit the podcast page on my website and while you're there, click some of the other tabs to learn more about me.
