Welcome to the mess! This podcast is about mental health and being yourself. We should all embrace our goofy selfs, even if we think that people think we are alians. #surviverisethrive

Hello beautiful people,
I hope you are doing well.
TRIGGER WARNING in this episode I talk about suicidal thoughts, so don't listen to it if you don't feel up to it.
My life is complete mess right now and I usually go into "hiding" when that happens.
I realized that whenever I do something in life that does not align with my own values and beliefs but rather what I think other people or society expect from me my body and psyche send me "friendly" reminders that I need to get back into doing what truly fulfills me and serves my purpose.
I have been ignoring those reminders successfully for quite some time and am grateful for the transformation process I am undergoing right now, even if it is extremely painful and very messy.
In this episode I share my feelings and am very honest about the pain I am experiencing because I know that I am not the only person feeling this way and I find that it helps to know we are not alone in our pain.
I still haven't figured all this out but the principle of the dark night of the soul helps me to understand the process I am going through right now. A new version of myself is unfolding right now and all I can do is embrace the pain and keep showing up for life, even if the smallest things that usually come to me with ease, are incredibly difficult to do.
What keeps me pushing through all that is my purpose. I know that if I can push through my pain, everybody else struggling with suicidal thoughts can do so as well.

Hello beautiful people,
I hope you are doing amazing!
Sorry, I am still a little sick, you can definitely hear that on this episode.
This episode is about not trading authenticity for validation and reclaiming our self-empowerment. We are never our life's victims, we can always choose to take responsibility and become director of our lives.
You hear about:
- how powerful saying "no" is
- the importance of "accept, change or leave"
- the beauty and strength behind staying authentic to ourselves
I hope you like this episode. If you do, let me know on Instagram.
I would also love for you to visit my Website littlehappymess.com and check out my coaching program or single sessions, all around basing our well-being around life vision.
Have a great start into this new week.
Lotsa Love,
Nina

Hallo liebe Leute,
Ich wünsche euch ganz viel Spaß beim Reinhören, und ganz wichtig: Stresst euch nicht, new year new me is overrated! Wir sind genauso wie wir sind richtig!
Lotsa Love,
Nina
Hello beautiful world,
I hope this episode finds you well, considering the cold winter here in Austria.
This Episode is about how we should trust in vibes because especially if we are sensitive, we can feel, how the other people feel.
When what they say and the vibe you get is not coherent, then it is important for us to act on what they say because we cannot act on the potential we see.
When feelings and words are not coherent it is very exhausting to be around those kind of people and if possible we should avoid those environments because they don't make us feel good.
I wish you an amazing week, sending you all the love.
Lotsa Love,
Nina

Hallo liebe Leutis,

Was ist schon perfekt? Menschen, die Fehler machen sind sympathisch und authentisch, also go hard, go wrong, wir sind hier um zu lernen!
Das heutige Further Material ist zum einen das Buch "Gespräche mit Gott" von Neale D. Walsch und die Serie "Rewired" von Dr. Joe Dispenza auf Gaia.

Hello beautiful frändos out there!
I hope this new podcast episode finds you well. If you're currently feeling a little stuck in misery and self-pity then episode #25 is perfect for you.
Sometimes when we are in very stressful situations (I was organising a really big event) and then they're finally over - we fall ill. That is exactly what happened to me, only that apart from my body fighting off covid my mind also had some shit to shake off. I was suffering a lot until I realized how egocentric I was, how my brain was revolving around the same problems, without really solving anything.
Just caught in this thought chaos! If you're feeling a little stuck too .. be kind to yourself. Sometimes we have to go through crises and bad stuff because we need to grow in a certain way.
Apart from this, like announced in the last shownotes already: I AM OFFERING COUNSELING SESSIONS FROM NOVEMBER 1st in Vienna!!! There will be a whole program called mission.purpose where we work on your why for life, your purpose in life because I believe that when we have a purpose we can survive ANY crises. Also life is more fun and simply fuller when we live a purposeful life.
You find all the infos on my website: www.ittlehappymess.com.
I wish you a beautiful friday evening and a wonderful weekend. Let your light shine bright. You rock!
Lotsa love, Nina
Hello world, welcome back to the mess! I hope you're doing super good and you're feeling content and fulfilled.
Summerbreak is over, it's time for more MESSNESS (huuuuy!). I am back with really (really, really) great news: I finally took another steps towards my life mission and started my own company.
It's called littlehappymess (I know, this must come as a shock! Who would have thought that..) and I offer (energetic) counseling sessions in Vienna - so you can book one-on-one sessions with me OR try out my mission purpose course where I assist you in finding and manifesting your own purpose, your soul's desire for your life. I work with inner child, inner team, chakra healing, guided meditation, energy healing, solution-oriented systematic Coaching, vision board creation and goal-setting practices. AND THERE IS EVEN MORE TO COME, stay tuned!
ENOUGH of the advertising - let's get to this episode. Most of us humans live in a state called victim consciousness, where we merley react to life and don't actively try to create the life including it's opportunities, relationships, ... that we want.
Life happens to us and we feel like we don't have control over any of it. Spoileralert: I am feeling that way often enough but I have learnt how to get myself out of victimhood and reactive lifestyle choices and I am constantly getting better at it (and everybody can do that! It's a matter of practice, reflection and breaking certain habits). There are things, often times terrible things happening in our lives that we have no control over.
On the other hand, many things are in our hand, like the people we surround ourselves with, the media we consum, the food we eat or the mental and physical exercises we practice. Most importantly we always have a CHOICE of how we react to circumstances in our lives. We can see ourselves as the victims of our stories or we become our own heros. Easier said then done but worth trying and embracing every day.
EVERYONE has suffered through bad experiences, childhood trauma (or trauma in adulthood), terrible mental states, been in aweful relationships and so on. And life really does suck sometimes. It can be cruel and believe me I know what I am saying. But even the most terrible things can be endured if we take responsibility for ourselves and see ourselves as true heros. True heros often find themselves in situations where they are confronted with there biggest fears but that is also where they usually find who they truley are.
They find out about their gifted nature and experience immense growth. Mystic, publicist and professor Joseph Campbell describes the so-called "hero's journey", which this episode is all about in 4 steps including the call to adventure, the initiation phase (including testing and "enemies"), the transformation phase and the return back home. We go through all of those steps all our life and get to pick up our (wake up) calls (to action) and get ready for our adventures. We go through all kinds of trials (facing our "enemies" or really our FEARS), experience immense growth and transformation and bring our gained knowledge and values "back home" (in the environment we started in)...
Today's further material is Joe Campbell's "Hero's journey" (Hero with a Thousand Faces: The Collected Works of Joseph Campbell ) and the documentary where I learnt about Joseph Campbell in the first place -"Finding Joe". It's on Youtube, it's free and it's super easy understandable and inspiring:

Hello guys,
I hope you are doing super well today!
Since I got a few things on my mind that I want to figure out and generally want to dedicate my summers to self-care and envisioning new projects and ways to go with littlehappymess I will take a summer break.
Episode#24 will mark the start of season 3 of MESSNESS and will go online on the 30th of September 2022.
Till then I wish you an amazing summer, and a great time!
Lotsa Love,
Nina
Hello beautiful people out there, I hope you are well, you are feeling blissful.
Episode #23 is about being okay with not being okay and cutting ourselves the slack to feel our emotions.
Emotions want to be felt and whether we like it or not, they will find there way out - sometimes in the form of OUTbursts or OUTrages..
Often, the time and place is not right but we should make it our responsibility to find some time a day to express our anger, sadness or happiness so that they don't accumulate and manifest themselves into any type of health issues or illnesses.
Let's not forget it is a steady progress after all and we are all giving our best. If we find ourselves not where we want to be right at this moment, that's okay. Let's not be mad at ourselves, let's just try again, being kind and forgiving with and towards ourselves. We got this!

Episode #22 is the follow up episode on #21 where I talk about all my life style changes or adaptations in order to keep my mind and soul healthy.
I talk about
Since I find myself stressed lately, struggling with my self-worth, compensating a lot with performance (classy Nina move), I thought it's the right time for this episode.
I am deepening some practices at the moment, especially breath-work techniques and affirmations.
I believe we can cure many illnesses with healthy lifestyle choices and when it comes to Mental Health - we can take over responsibility of the content, conversations or media we consume and form an environment that promotes health and well-being.
The further material I mentioned:
Othership App for guided Breath-work and

TRIGGER WARNING - I talk about SUICIDE, so only listen, if you feel in the right mental place to do so.
Hello beautiful people, how are you today?
This episode is not as fun as usually as it talks about a very serious topic: suicide.
I had been struggling with suicidal thoughts for a long time and my life changed after an attempt in 2020.
After my suicidal attempt in 2020 I found a life purpose for myself, something that keeps me alive, even in my worst days, because I feel obliged to fulfill this purpose and that there is meaning in my suffering.
This is when I developed the ideas for this podcast, the exact founding mission was the following:
"I want people to survive, rise and thrive. By inspiring the world with my own story I want to prevent people from ending their lives (as many as I can!). I am willing to become master of my own darkness - So I can teach people how tame their monsters."
The idea of a creating a bigger purpose/meaning as the primary motivational force in life, comes from Viktor Frankl, who is the founder of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. He survived the terrible circumstances of a Nazi concentration camp because he believed in a bigger meaning which enabled him to endure the suffering.
I strongly believe that my dark days and everything bad that has happened in my life was meant to happen, so that I could be at the point I am right now.
When I think back to traumatizing experiences and then see what grew out of them, like a lotus flower growing in the dirt, I feel not only impressed but grateful for these events. Because I strongly believe, that life had to force me into certain bad situations and horrible mental states so I could see that the life I was living right now was not the life I am supposed to live.
I wish for this episode to inspire you to keep fighting, to find meaning in your suffering, to know you are not alone, whatever you are experiencing right now and whatever you are going through right in this moment of your life.
If you are struggeling with suicidal thoughts, please try to remember that life is beautiful and dark thoughts, moments or phases in life ALWAYS pass. NOTHING is permanent, you are incredibly strong and the world needs your light. I swear it does! You came to this earth for a reason, I repeat THE WORLD NEEDS YOU.
You are loved and appreciated.
Reach out to your loved ones or call your countries emergency numbers! Don't be alone with this.
In your Whatsapp Help Center you find the suicide hotlines for your countries, here ist he link:

Hello beautiful world!
I hope you guys are doing well!
Today in episode #20 I talk about how to go out there and live your childhood's dream.
We tend to do what our education and parental raising has taught us to do and choose career paths that "make sense" that are "secure" and "stable".
But we all just want to make the world a better place and change it for the better! That is what I strongly believe in, which is why we have to START acting, and if we dedicate 20 minutes per day towards our great vision, idea or whatever it is.
Start living truthfully and authentically.

Hello peeps, how are you today?
Here comes another episode about a topic many of us have experienced but often don't know they have. It's called gaslighting.
Gaslighting is a form of manipulation, leaving it's victims questioning their own reality, as they are constantly told that their perception of things is wrong.
It often causes depression, anxiety and other illnesses or issues and I want to give some tips how to get out of relationships like that and what to do when you're out.
The most important thing is to build up self-trust again in order to be able to trust other people again. If you are in a gaslighting relationship and getting out or got out then CONGRATS, you are a strong person and don't ever think of yourself as weak.
It takes a lot to realize and to get out and you can be damn proud of yourself. Here is the book I mentioned in further material "gaslighting, the abuse not talked about":
https://www.amazon.de/GASLIGHTING-Recognize-Manipulations-Narcissistic-Emotional/dp/B09GJML3ZQ/ref=nosim?tag=littlehappy00-21
and the link to the documentary I couldn't yet bear to watch:

Have a great weekend, celebrate yourself, your strength, your eager and your AWESOMENESS.
Lotsa Love,
Nina
Hello, beautiful people out there!
How are you doing?
Here we go with a new episode about very important topics, all of us think about.
I underwent a small crisis all about success, external validation and acceptance and want to share my learnings with you. Success is something we usually run after, just like a carrot in front of our face, that we are never able to reach.
What if we can choose to be successful already? What if we do not have to reach certain goals/states first in order to have the permission to feel successful? What if success is not attached to recognition or any goal we set for ourselves but really a state of being? Acceptance they way our lives are right now is the key for any success to enter our lives.
I hope you enjoy this episode, let me know in the comments how you feel about it! There is an entire blog article about success on littlehappymess.com, if you want to go deeper.
Here is the book "Das Kind in dir muss Heimat finden" from Stefanie Stahl, I talked about in the episode:
https://www.amazon.de/Das-Kind-muss-Heimat-finden/dp/3424631078/ref=nosim?tag=littlehappy00-21
I wish you a great weekend, see you next week.
Lotsa Love,
Nina
Hello peeps,
I hope you are doing well and having a blissful time!
Episode #17 is about crisis.
We all experience crisis at some point in our lives and usually they completely shatter our believes and the way we used to look at life.
Crisis are hard, crisis are challenging. But usually they come with the gift of transformation and they often come with one important message: start walking your own, unique path.

Today's episode is about happiness and why we cannot chase it.

Hello you unique people out there, how are you doing?
Today I want to talk about embracing your uniquNESSness (or goofyness) and how we should all stop pleasing people around us and do what we feel called to do.
I wish to connect more with my intuition and inner wisdom and I wish that upon everyone else too.
We all feel insecure and seek for external approval sometimes but our heart always knows best what's right for us.
We have our unique path and no one but us knows what that looks like.

Hello guys, how is life treating you?
This episode is about never being satisfied with what we have and the constant pressure of having to achieve more and gain more.
We all know this attitude where we have to be better than the competitor and compare ourselves to people around us.
Without acknowledging our efforts we will never reach a state of peace and happiness and today I want to talk about how to first appreciate what we have and then welcome more of something in our lives.
Here is the further material I talked about " Der kleine Buddha auf dem Weg zum Glück" by Claus Mikosch:

Hello people, what's UP?
Today's episode is about the entire movement of self-optimization and how it's a dangerous though to think, the way you are right now is not enough.
The "only when I reach this I am okay/smart/complete/.." attitude is not healthy and will always leave you frustrated, feeling incomplete and unfulfilled.
We can push us without telling us, we're not good enough and in this episode I would like to tell you why I believe, that is the right way to go!
Here is the book I mentioned in the further material section "12 rules for life" by Jordan Peterson: https://www.amazon.de/12-Rules-Life-Antidote-Chaos/dp/0141988517/ref=nosim?tag=littlehappy00-21
So let's stop comparing ourselves. Have fun listening.
Lotsa love, Nina.
Hello everybody, I hope you're all WELL!
This episode is about social anxiety and how I kept up on making excuses on how I avoided meeting people or social events.
When the Corona crisis started, I felt all goofy with all the different measurements and became an awkward penguin (Who knows the 9gag meme?), never knowing how to behave.
I was scared to leave the house but made up reasons to justify my behaviour e.g. "I prefer homeoffice anyway" "I hate people, so that's okay".
When I did not face what I was scared off, the situation started worsening, like building up a huge pile of anxiety loaded stuff.
So I will tell you what helped me and what I've learned from this.
Here is the book I recommended, that really helped me dealing with anxiety: "The only prayer you need":

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You ROCK! Enjoy the episode.

Overworking, overthinking, depression. My way back!
Hello people,
I hope you are doing well! You haven't heard from me for AGES, actually more than a year and I am really sorry for that.
I was not feeling well, I was overworked and in urgent need for a break.
In this episode I tell you what happened and give you 4 learnings from my emotional rollercoaster-time.
These learnings are about taking breaks when needed, self-responsibility, enlightenment and toxic positivity.
