From entrepreneur to stay at home momma, it is safe to say a lot has shifted in my life. It has been quite a journey, but a very rewarding one. I'll be sharing the struggles, the real life battles, the emotional rollercoasters, the growth, my manifestations, my spiritual journey and so much more. I don't want to limit where these conversations will lead us though. I look forward to growing along side of you and sharing my journey to finding myself again in this new mommy chapter. I'm not ready to give up on chasing my dreams because I have little eyes watching now.
One of the most rewarding parts of my spiritual journey has been learning to trust that things are always working out for me. Even in the moments of struggle, bumps in the road and detours I have begun to understand they are coming in for a reason. Eventually, it almost always makes sense down the road. I understand why my detours had to happen this summer and it ended up working out for me. It always does.
Life has a funny way of testing us to see how serious we are about something. It's really easy to fall off the bandwagon and allow yourself to stay there. It's a choice to climb back on that wagon and to keep trying. The more we release that does not serve us, the more we can continue to grow.
In a world that wants to have an opinion about how everyone else should live, it's not always easy to be authentic to yourself. The outside noise can fog our own vision and creativity. Honoring your own wants, needs and wishes is important to help clear that fog. In this episode I discuss my stance on being true to myself, honoring where I am in my journey and living authentically.
Sometimes quotes can hit you right where you need it. I was hit with one that really made an impact on me. There are times in life where tough situations or hurt feelings happen. How do we move through it? This is exactly what I talk about in this podcast.
Bringing a child into this world is one of the most amazing gifts we can ever experience. The culture of terrifying expecting parents with stories both personal and hearsay is baffling to me. Pregnancy is scary enough without the weight of unsolicited advice and others negative experiences. As someone that was anxious about pregnancy and delivery, I benefited more from the positive and uplifting words of wisdom and encouragement. This is my opinion on the topic.
Every time I ask for growth, expansion, abundance, purpose and for things to manifest, I also attract life lessons. Some are easy, while others are not. I have had huge growth in my mindset when these situations arise and I now realize things are always working out for me. This is my insight on just that.
I'm still trying to figure out who has assigned me this "Mom Guilt" because I don't remember signing up for it. What I do know is that it's very real and at times very heavy. As I learn to navigate this new territory of momhood, I share some real experiences that I am currently going through that have resulted in "Mom Guilt". As I reflect on these experiences I am attempting to see the glass half full and that there are valuable life lessons to be learned for both Weldon and I.
It was not long ago that I did not know what the term "crunchy" was referring to, so to be turning "crunchy" now is kind of comical. The more I learn, the more crunchy I want to be. I've really enjoyed learning about how to live a less toxic lifestyle, but it has been extremely eye opening to how much I did not know prior. I share some of the things I've learned about in this new world I'm exploring and give some tips on how you can take baby steps for healthier living too.

In a world that feels so weird at times, it’s never been more important to shine your light. For me, all the personal development, inner work and mindset shifts have helped guide me through the darkness. There are times that fear tries to keep us safe, so how do we know when things are truly not aligned or if it’s fear lying to us to keep us small and comfortable? That’s what I discuss in this episode sharing my own personal experience.
For some reason I felt like I needed to continue last episode's conversation, so we did just that. Learning to have boundaries is not easy for some of us, but I can say it is worth it. Finding your people can be even harder and the more you love and respect yourself, the better your tribe becomes.
There comes a time and place when we need to be there for others, but we can't be the glue that tries to hold everyone else together all of the time. We can't fix the shattered pieces from someone else's damage or hurt. It's unfair we do this to ourselves or for others to expect it from us. While it is difficult to stop trying to help everyone, there is a peace that you feel when you finally do.
I'm sure everyone's experience with postpartum is different, but mine was accompanied with postpartum depression and anxiety with a splash of Baby Blues. It was such a confusing experience for me to feel the highs of highs and the lows of lows. The guilt that comes with feeling sadness while holding the best thing in your life was one of the most bizarre feelings. I'm grateful that wild ride is behind me and I can share my story of getting through it.
From anxiety wreaking havoc in my life to taking the control back from anxiety, it has been a big chapter in my life. It wasn't always a pleasant story, but I've learned so much along the way. The struggles have helped me become the person I am now. This is my story about the lows and my happy ending with my battle with anxiety.
I was questioning myself on which direction I should take this episode. The vicious cycle of doubt and fear of failure started to creep back in. It was my topic hitting me right where I needed it. This is a discussion about my battle with feeling stuck and I hope it can give you some reassurance if you're experiencing that too.
This week's episode is going to take you on a little journey of how we manifested our dream property. While there are still many projects to go, it was really interesting how this all came about. Some things are worth waiting for and when you least expect it, they may just find you. Hope you enjoy!
Welcome back everyone! It really feels great to be back and chatting with you all. So join me and Let's Chat with Ash!
