Let's take a journey together to discover valuable truths about who God is, who we are in Him and the abundant life that awaits us.
Let’s talk about how to activate the power of God’s word by using everyday moments in life to practice being in the presence of the Lord. As we’re journeying through life, we're learning how to put what we’ve read in His Word into practice which is teaching us how to walk with God and how to be more like Christ each day.
My hope is that we will learn to view negative, unwanted emotions and situations as an opportunity to activate God's Word so that we can access more of His grace and attributes. We are not bound to negativity; we are yoked to Christ and within Him is everything we need for success and godly living.
When we build a life upon Jesus, who is our Rock, we can overcome anything. Hard times will come but if we practice becoming His word today and everyday, we can better prepare for tomorrow. May we build according to the pattern and the blueprints that was shown to us in His Holy Word.
Join me as I share my testimony of how I applied these truths to my own life and how the Lord became a safe refuge when troubles arose.
🗝 Key Scripture References:
📖 Matthew 7:24-25 NLT
“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”
📖 James 1:22 NLT
“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.”

Psalm 119:105 NIV reads “Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” I also love how Brian Simmons words it in TPT “Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; & the revelation of your Word makes my pathway clear.” We can clearly see from this scripture that God’s Word becomes a navigational tool guiding us physically, emotionally and mentally in life so that we can reach the desired destination that He’s already mapped out for us.
But in order to do this, we must begin to live out His word in our normal everyday lives so that the transformative nature of His word can work in us and through us.
May we search for opportunities in our everyday life and use this as training ground for spiritual growth and development.

“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.”

My goal these past six weeks was to position and equip you to hear God’s voice and to stress the importance of relationship with God. In this video, I explain the reason behind this. I want you to know that the focus of this channel isn’t to teach others how to hear God’s voice but to share my journey of discovering God and who I am in Christ.
As I mentioned before, there was a time when I was once the only believer in my household. This road was not an easy one but once I learned how to hear God’s voice, though I felt alone at times, I wasn’t because He was with me in every way.
His words are the only words that can breathe life into your situation, fill you with hope and comfort you in times of hurt. In life you will encounter difficult circumstances, this my friend is guaranteed. BUT you will also realize that He has given you everything you need to overcome. All you need to do is look to HIm.

When learning to hear God’s voice, we want to feel confident that we are receiving a pure word from Him. In order to do that, it's imperative that our hearts are clean before Him with no idols or hidden agendas within it. Otherwise, we may be seeking for our own desires to be fulfilled while masking it as a word from the Lord. Today, I wanted to share a past mistake I made and how my idol was me, my career and my desires. An idol is anything we make bigger than God....and in that situation, I placed my plans and happiness over the will of God. I learned a valuable lesson from that mistake and it taught me the importance of how to posture my heart when seeking guidance from the Lord. In the end, my hope is that we will follow the example of Jesus and say no matter how difficult it will be, “Not my will Father but Yours be done.” Then and only then will we be able to hear God’s voice clearly. - 🗝 Key Scripture References: 📖 Exodus 20:3-4 NIV “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” 📖 Luke 22:42 NIV “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” - Stay connected to A Journey of Discovery: Subscribe on YouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UC3fm53ozikBV8Q4nIDR95QQ Follow on Facebook: https://Facebook.com/ajourneyofdiscovery.tjfrasier Follow on Instagram: https://Instagram.com/ajourneyofdiscovery.tjfrasier Follow on Tiktok: https://vm/tiktok.com/ZMeNdMQH9
Positioned to Hear God’s Voice: What Does God Want to Say to You?
Over the past four weeks, we discovered that we are wired to hear the voice of God, the various ways God speaks and what His voice sounds like. Now it’s time to put into practice what we’ve learned so that we can get in position to hear from our Heavenly Father.
Key Scripture Reference:
📖 Proverbs 8:34-35 “Blessed is the man who listens to Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors. For whoever finds Me finds life & obtains favor from the Lord.”
📖 Habakkuk 2:1-2 “I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.”
📖 John 10:27 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow Me.”

Have you ever wondered what God’s voice sounds like? Join me as we discover that His voice may sound more familiar than you think.
Key Scripture:
📖 1 Samuel 3:1-10
“Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the Lord in the presence of Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no frequent vision. At that time Eli, whose eyesight had begun to grow dim so that he could not see, was lying down in his own place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was. Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said, “Here I am!” and ran to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” But he said, “I did not call; lie down again.” So he went and lay down. And the Lord called again, “Samuel!” and Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” But he said, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.” Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy. Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down, and if he calls you, you shall say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came and stood, calling as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant hears.” Then the Lord spoke to Samuel…..

Job 33:14 says God speaks all the time but sometimes we fail to perceive it. Years ago when I began my journey with the Lord, I believed the only way He spoke was audibly, through His Holy Bible and through the pastors and leaders of the church. But Scriptures tells us that God is vast and He can speak to us in a variety of ways. Join me as I share 8 of the 15 different ways that I’ve discovered how the Lord speaks. I pray you will be encouraged and recognize that God is speaking to you too. My hope is that after we discover the various ways God speaks that it will open us up to hear His voice each and every day.
Here are 8 of the 15 ways that God speaks:
📖 1 Kings 19:11-12 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
📖 Matthew 9:36 “When Jesus stepped ashore and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd.”
📖 Psalms 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
📖 2 Kings 3:15 “But now bring me a harpist.” While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha 16 and he said, “This is what the Lord says:….”
📖 Rev. 19:10 “The testimony of Jesus is prophecy”
📖 Rev. 19:10 “The testimony of Jesus is prophecy”

📖 1 Sam 15:27-28 But Samuel said to him, “I will not go back with you. You have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you as king over Israel! As Samuel turned to leave, Saul caught hold of the hem of his robe, and it tore. Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors—to one better than you.”

📖 2 Tim 3:16 “All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
📖 Acts 16:9 “During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.”
📖 Psalm 16:7 “I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.”
📖 Acts 11:4-10 “Starting from the beginning, Peter told them the whole story: 5 “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance, I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was….”
📖 Luke 9:35 “While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.”
📖 Mark 2:8 AMP “Immediately Jesus, being fully aware [of their hostility] and knowing in His spirit that they were thinking this, said to them, “Why are you debating and arguing about these things in your hearts? 1 Cor 2:16 We have the mind of Christ.”
📖 Acts 2:14-41 - Peter’s sermon caused 3,000 people to give their lives to Christ.

Relationship with God is the most valuable relationship you can ever have and hearing His voice ushers us into a deeper place of intimacy with Him. As a Christian, I used to believe this lie that hearing God’s voice is reserved only for the pastors, leaders, the spiritually elite and not for everyone. However, Jesus clearly reveals that as His sheep WE CAN in fact hear the voice of our Heavenly Father. My hope is that you will be filled with an eager expectation that God wants to speak to all His children….including YOU.
📖 John 10:3 TPT “The sheep recognizes the voice of the true Shepherd, for He calls His own by name and leads them out, for they belong to Him.”
📖 John 10:27 ESV “My sheep hear My voice, and I know theme, and they follow Me.”
📖 2 Timothy 3:16 TPT “Every scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instructions and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.”
Declarations from John 10:3,27:
🗡 I can hear and recognize the voice of God in my life.
🗡 Jesus is my Shepherd and I will follow Him.
🗡 I am His sheep and I belong only to God.
🗡 He leads me and knows me by name.
Does God Really Exist? I found myself asking this very question many times in my life. Some days He felt very real and others so very distant. It was confusing until one day when I asked, He answered me. . Scripture tells us to ask and we shall receive, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be open to us. Like the persistent widow, I encourage you to ask and keep on asking because God isn't afraid of our questions. In fact, He is eager to answer them so that He can reveal Himself to you. My hope is that you will encounter Truth in a way that will transform your lives. . 📖Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 📖Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you seek me with all your heart.
Here's a practical guide to accompany the teaching from Luke Chapter 12. In this video, I share what that the Lord taught me as I learned to become fully depenedent on Him as our provider in the midst of a financial set back. Though the struggles were great, God was greater and He revealed to us that He is faithful to His Word. These keys helped us walk from a place of lack, questioning and uncertainty regarding our future to a place of favor and abundance. My hope and prayer is that you will experience the same🙏🏾
Did you know that God made a covenant to provide for you? Yes you! In Luke Chapter 12 Jesus goes into great detail as He explains just how valuable you are to your Heavenly Father and how He delights in taking care of you. All you have to do is believe and rest in His faithfulness.
So I have two questions for you:
What would it mean for you to trust God and what would the fruit of this look like in your life?
Are you willing to exchange stress, anxiety and worry regarding your personal needs for perfect peace?
Before you answer, tune in as we unpack this word.
Want to learn how to interact with the Lord so that you can deepen your relationship with Him? Check out this video to discover nine ways you can connect with your heavenly Father as you start your day. Once you begin to implement this into your morning routine and throughout the day, you will find that spending time with God is just what you needed to draw closer to Him.
As believers in Christ, we are awarded the great honor and privilege of hosting the presence of God. The Godhead has made you their dwelling place, therefore everything that They are and everything They possess, can be found within you. No longer do you have to feel alone or that God is far away. Look within because He’s a lot closer than you think.
Scripture Reference:
John 14:23 AMPC “If a person really loves Me, he will keep My word (obey My teaching) and My Father will love him and We will come to him and make Our home (our abode, special dwelling place) with him.”
With a new season, comes a new shift and in this season there’s a universal call for the body of Christ to return to our first love, Jesus. When we discover how much God loves us and our loved ones, this truth will infuse us with hope and encouragement for the future. My prayer for this season is that we will dive deeper in our relationship with the Lord, learn how to hear His voice and discover our identity in Christ. Will you join me?
There is an invisible enemy who seeks to keep our unbelieving loved ones in a state of spiritual blindness to keep them from believing and experiencing salvation. However, take heart because it is the Lord opens the eyes of the blind! Knowing this allows us to strategically target our prayers as well as identify that our frustrations aren’t against those we love but against our adversary. May we continue to remember who the real enemy is as we cover our loved ones in prayer and hold on to hope, who is Jesus, that one day the blind will see.
As I reflect on Holy Week and all that was won back for us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. I am continually drawn to one and that’s relationship with God. Though salvation, redemption, forgiveness of sins and newness of life are all AMAZING gifts….there’s something about restored fellowship with the Father that grabs my heart. Today I shared a personal testimony of the reward of placing God first and how faithful He is to the prayers of yesterday. Though we may not see our prayers being answered all at once, God hears and is at work in the hearts of our loved ones. May we learn to celebrate the small steps as we reflect on how far He’s brought us.
:
.
I pray that we will also not lose focus that our relationship with God is a personal relationship. May the Lord continue to stir up a longing and desire for greater intimacy with Him. If a relationship with God was of the upmost importance to Jesus, may it become our one, pure and holy passion as well. Join me as I pray Psalm 27:4 over you.
Sometimes it’s easier to ask God to remove an obstacle, a person or a situation from our lives than it is to face it. However, there is much to gain when we confront these challenges head on because they are used as part of our spiritual development. This is why we are encouraged in the book of James to count it all joy when we face trials of various kinds. May we recognize that there is a shaping taking place in the spirit that is for our good through the very thing we would rather avoid. My hope is that we will learn to embrace difficulties because on the other side of it is an answer to a prayer, a promise, or a gift the Lord wants to give us.

There is one foundational principle that every believer must comprehend grasp in order to stand confidently in the midst of a trial and know irrefutably that God is with them. Once you become aware of this one truth, you will be able to stand against any challenge and boldly declare, “If God be for me, who can be against me.”
Picking up your cross is one of the most important and rewarding decision you will ever make. Though there are many examples in scripture of those who picked up their cross, I wanted to highlight one who didn’t. May we hold on to Jesus more than our prized possessions and may we never underestimate the power of what one simple act of obedience can do to impact you and your family’s future.
There’s a call for every believer to pick up their cross and follow Jesus. The natural desire when you’re a spouse and/or a parent is to go on this exciting adventure together as a family. However, what do you do when you’re ready to answer this call, but your loved ones aren’t?
You pick up your cross and become the change you want to see in your world.
Today, on International Women's Day....I say to you, "Woman Arise".
We are Adopted Part 2 - Episode 003 We are sons and daughters of God and heirs to the kingdom of Heaven. This is who we are therefore we must live and move and have our being from this place of identity. *correction: beginning at 3:27 - Jesus says I no longer call you slaves but “friends” (John 15:15) Scripture Reference: Galatians 4:6-7 TPT And so that we would know for sure that we are his true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts—moving us to cry out intimately, “My Father![a] You’re our true Father!” Now we’re no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God’s very own sons and daughters! And because we’re his, we can access everything our Father has—for we are heirs of God through Jesus, the Messiah!
