The Multi-stakeholder Forest Governance and Accountability Project (MFGAP) and her Partners with support from the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) through the Palladium Group rally Liberia and the rest of the World to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in Liberia and rest of the World on the occasion of International Women's  Day March 8, 2022. 
MFGAP kicks of the month-long celebration with an official launch on Saturday March 5, 2022 via a live-phone-in radio program on OK FM 99.5 with a panel discussion involving women with extraordinary success stories, challenges they faced and how they  overcame those challenges.
As part of the celebration, a second Panel discussion will be held on ECOWAS radio with another batch of successful women narrating their extraordinary stories. Additionally, during the month-long celebration, fifteen community radio stations across Liberia will highlight the stories of Liberian women who have made huge gains in terms of success and positive contributions to Liberia and the world. The community radio stations are a  network of media entities working with the Liberia Media center under a partnership with MFGAP.  As part of the celebration, LMC/MFGAP regular GESI (Gender and social Inclusion) Publication will highlight the extraordinary success stories  of women plus more.

To increase the knowledge of forest stakeholders on the legal and regulatory framework in support of good governance in the Liberian forest sector, Episode 4 of  "Our Forest Story' places emphasis on education and awareness creation on the Community Rights Law of 2009 with respect to Forest lands.  In this episode, a senior manager at the Forestry Development Authority Community Forestry Department explains the context and background against which the Community Rights law was enacted by the Liberian National Legislature and signed into law by the president of Liberia.
