Welcome to your new favorite podcast, Everyone's Got Shit. Your host Alex Audette has always had a very positive outlook, given the fact she nearly scathed through the first 19 years of her life without having to deal with much of anything. She cracked a joke at every chance possible and proudly appointed herself as the funny one in each friend group she formed. However that quickly changed when she lost her father on October 4, 2020, suddenly branding her as the girl without a dad. This life altering event quickly put a cramp in her style as maintaining a positive outlook became a bit more difficult and cracking a dad joke was seen as "uncomfortable" and "inappropriate." Once she was done feeling bad for herself and loathing in her self pity, Alex began to take a hard look at the world around her, and she quickly realized that she was not the only person on the planet dealing with something shitty. Thus, began a new grief journey where she decided to learn from the experiences of those around her, ultimately leading her here, to this podcast. Everyone's Got Shit will host many of Alex's friends and family members as they share some of their most difficult life experiences. Expect to laugh, to cry and to learn, but most importantly, understand that you are never alone in what you are going through.Follow this podcast on instagram for updates and other great content! @everyonesgotshit Subscribe to my youtube channel to watch video recordings of this podcast!
