It's amazing to learn that the majority of people nowadays still support famous people despite having little understanding of why they do so.

If you ask me, I'll admit that I don't have an immediate response or something that comes to mind. The culture of being a part of a certain group of fans who support a celebrity has recently become the norm. Particularly in Nigeria, it is common to see Messi and Ronaldo supporters disputing the superiority of their idols and why their preferred celebrity is the finest while standing side by side.

Do we, however, truly understand what motivates us to talk passionately about someone we have likely never met? Why do we march up to a certain camp and beat our drums in support of a different person hundreds of kilometers away?

Lets talk.

In this life, there is pain and there is toothache. The later is something no one should experience, not even your enemy.

I took a trip to the dental clinic a few days back to extract a bad tooth, after much procrastination  and endurance of severe pain, and it was a case of promising the doctor that i will be good after the 3hours extraction process.

For the record, I clean my teeth twice a day, and none of the foregoing implies that I am not concerned about personal hygiene.

It was my first visit to the dentist, and i thought i share my experience with you guys

I just couldn't help but talk about this topic. Not just because some lady decided to  have sex with a dog but because this is becoming alarming in the city of Lagos.

I'm not sure people understand the health and psychological implications of putting up an act like this, but if something has to be done about women consciously wanting to have sex with dogs, then maybe we should start asking the right and fundamental question.

How did we get here?

This is an episode I've always wanted to do. Not for selfish reasons, but to share knowledge about the psychology behind the subject.

I was hoping to have a guest on this episode at some point, but I realized that not everyone enjoys talking about certain topics.

This week, we're discussing why men are attracted to female bums and, of course, asking our audience if they have any better answers or ideas as to why this is a thing.

The power situation in Nigeria for a long time has been referred to as a pandemic. Last month the national greed that supplies the nation was reported to be in bad shape. This month the situation remains the same.

If there's one problem that seems not to go away anytime soon, it is the problem of constant power supply. Electricity is a key aspect of our lives in Nigeria, yet it is one of the biggest problems at hand.

Today's episode is a look back to where it all went wrong.. And what's a story like this without a little poetry for a start.

If there is something that units a people more in the modern times, it will be the game of football.

Last week i had a rough experience with the super eagles of Nigeria and  it has taken me time to heal from that incident (the world cup qualification knockout)

On this episode of This Thing in the Mud, i reflect on the journey of the super eagles over time and how it has made a way into our hearts. It is no doubt that when the super eagles wins we rejoice and are united and when it looses it becomes a day of sorrow and we ask questions.

I hope you enjoy this episode

There are numerous ways to die. It could be by rifle, sword, or any other terrible method that no one likes to discuss.

People do, however, die in bizarre ways. A mosquito bite, for example, can instantly alter your mood, potentially leading to your death. You could even fall asleep and die in your sleep.

Today on our Monday episode, we look at our healthy character who, for some strange reason, dies, and we wonder if his death could have been avoided.

Thank you for listening.

Our spirit of determination would make you wonder if God created us differently. From children to adult, people from different part of this country work round the clock to make a living on the streets of lagos.

But the idea of having kids hawk items or even beg in traffic has always been of a concern to me. It is an issue that would bother on the hearts of every concern human who understand the risk and madness in all of this.

Children they say are like little angels in this world..and so it is a hurtful thing when we hear them go through pain, anguish and the negative outcomes that this world brings.

I recall recording this next story you are about to hear and the reaction of my friend who we call  Bravo the great, who is a producer and who helped me put this recording together at the time. He was calm and couldn't say a lot but also felt I should exclaim more because the story was such a heartbreaking one. LoL

For me, I just wanted to create an awareness of the dangers of an action that can lead to loss, psychological trauma  and pain.

And so today on this podcast, I present to you, a story that is very dear to my heart, ladies and gentle, boys and girls, this is "Harmattan flower"

When I think about sudden death and how hard it is for loved ones to swallow.. it is something unexplainable. Sudden death is a piercing to the living. It keeps you wondering and makes you reflect on life and why things happen the way they do; eventhough you know that this is innevitable.

Today's episode is a reflection and thoughts on a sudden passage of  love one and how that affects us as humans. It is a story worth listening to.
