- Gaius is a positive example. He is someone who loved God and followed the teachings of Jesus.
- Diotrephes is a negative example. He loved to be in charge and did not welcome those who were traveling to spread the word of God.
- Demetrius is another positive example. He had a good reputation and was well-respected by others.
Sister Gabriella uses these characters to teach the importance of living a pleasing life to God. She encourages the listeners to be like Gaius and Demetrius and to avoid being like Diotrephes. One key statement she made was that lifestyle evangelism is the best and that we are the bible people read and as such we have to live right.

In today's sermon titled "Destined For Overflowing Peace," Pastor Sina Alabi tells us that 'to be destined' according to the Oxford Dictionary is to be regarded as developing as true according to a preexisting plan and also defined as to be certain, nothing can change it or intended or traveling towards while overflowing simply means having a container so full that it flows over.
He explains that when you have overflowing peace it is obvious and people get to see it in your life. Although the current situation in our country does not appear to be one where we can be at peace as long as we have the peace of God we have nothing to worry about. He says that it is God's plan for us to have rest in Him.
It is important to know that when we do not believe the word of God or believe the word for what it is then we are disobeying Him and so we need to be careful not to disbelieve but be as children believing freely.
Pastor Sina Alabi uses David as a primary example as he teaches us about the overflowing peace of God.
The word of God should be a part and parcel of you. Romans 1:17

In today's sermon titled "The Mercy of God", Pastor Obi Umahi explains that mercy is the compassionate treatment of those in distress. It is the fruit of compassion. He tells us that it is a gift given by someone with compassion. He goes further to say that there is an action aspect of compassion: Mercy.
He takes his first scriptural reference from Luke 15:11-23, and he uses this to teach us that no matter the mistake made in the past, mercy can locate you and re-establish you. We need the mercies of God to go through the year.
Pastor Obi tells us that there is another dimension of mercy that is found in other scriptures which is Psalm 103:17A

- We believe in holiness as God's standard of living for His people.

- We believe in baptism in the Holy Spirit as an enduement of power for service with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

As we reflect on the year, we can see how God has provided for us in countless ways. From the food on our tables, to the roof over our heads, to the people in our lives, God has been faithful to provide for our needs. We may not always understand why things happen the way they do, but we can trust that God is in control and working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28).
In addition to providing for our physical needs, God also blesses us with spiritual abundance. Through His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, we can experience a rich and fulfilling relationship with Him. As we seek Him and draw near to Him, He fills us with His presence and peace.
As we enter into a new year, let us give thanks to God for His faithfulness and provision. Let us also trust in His plans and seek Him with all our hearts, knowing that He will continue to bless us with abundance in all areas of our lives.

God took the Israelites back to the land He promised their forefather, Abraham - the land flowing with milk and honey both in the literal and figurative sense. Milk symbolises fertility and abundance while honey symbolises joy, sweetness & pleasure. Whatever was in God’s original plan in your life which might have eluded you can be recovered. The promised land is not for double minded and backsliding Christians do not miss out on your assured abundant blessings
Christians do not face the devil from their own strength but the strength of Christ, the bible teaches us that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, not Christ should be Lord.
The only way to deal with this global rebellion against Jesus in the world is understanding as Christians that Jesus is Lord, Understanding the purpose of God, for He has set in motion, that which will destroy the global conspiracy, Zion is God's strategy, the church of God is Zion.
In serving the Lord you must take the focus off yourself and serve Him out of love not personal gain. As long as you belong to God, you share in the inheritance He has promised for we are joint heirs in Christ. Anyone who is to serve Him wholeheartedly need to be broken, do not let the lack of brokenness impede your service to the Lord
God made clear that His desire for His people was to serve Him on their way to the promised land and when they got there. When you tie your own request with your preparedness to meet God’s needs, you will receive answers. The question should never be whether to serve the Lord but how to serve the Lord.

When God says #GoForward... it means He wants to do a remarkable thing.

The Red Sea did not pose a problem to the Israelites until the Egyptian army began chasing them, they knew they were on a journey led by God. We may be in situations that we do not see as problematic, but God had seen the problem ahead has sent a word to you today: "Tell My Children To Go Forward"
If God is saying #GoForward, you are on a journey and you are headed in the right direction, you can’t #GoForward unless you change directions, as you receive the instruction today to #GoForward, you are listening to God.
